  1. The Doomsinger is a recon hardsuit. It's pilot is long dead. The corpse only requires it's skull and spinal cord to be attached into the suit. The Suit is used for recon. The corpse has been reanimated by a technomancer from parallel Earth world #2785. Linked both telepathically and technologically through both mind and The technomancers control helmet, the recon unit can relay both thoughts and actual images to it's master. The technomancer and his faction can be seen on my flickr stream if people are interested :) I built the faction to compliment a mech I am working on called the "Death Sentence" which I hope to have finished in the next week or so. :) Comments and criticisms always welcome! :)
  2. Definitely , probably get the band too if I can! More zombies for my need legion!!! :D
  3. Excellent work all! My votes go as follows! 1. Carson Brick - 3points 2. castor-troy - 2 points
  4. Nothing to fancy for me - I would choose the Black Seas Barracuda 6285. A lovely pirate ship that I could never afford as a child!
  5. Beautiful colours and lovely details!
  6. Typo - "doesn't"? Personally I swap arms out all the time and have never had one crack on me.My nephew has some white arms with cracks in them but I guess that is because he isn't quite so gentle.
  7. EDIT - VERY STUPID QUESTION. Please delete it to hide my ignorance :S
  8. I love the zombie genre - I also love building Apocalypse themed mocs. My zombie collection is much bigger now that the custom houses have been cranking out zombie heads. Here's a little build I did a while ago. I figured that should there be a zombie apocalypse there would definitely be winners and losers in business. The premise here is that in the UK, the AA (Automobile Association) would have diversifed the business - road side recovery and rescue takes on a whole new meaning!!! I also built a recovery mech which I will be posting in the sci fi forum later if people want to see it. :) ----------------- A lone survivor almost makes it to an AA Res-Q PoP (PIck-up Operation Presence) ... if he had paid for the gold star service he would have got a free pick up. The team do their best but are too late for this customer. At least they will put him out of his misery... Complete Scene Shot This Zombie has a serious case of the munchies! Fighting back! Getting his hands dirty! BOOM -Headshot! Comments and criticisms always welcome! I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did making it! EDIT - Dang if I could spell!!!! :)
  9. JUST a WIP! wow Swooshability factor of 10 already!
  10. Wonderful work Carson - I faved this on Eurobricks. A top effort jam packed with wonderful details inside and out! I thought the exterior on it's own was fabulous, the colours the details and facade are great but the details inside are next level too! I salute you sir!
  11. Don't worry you weren't alone! :) I'm hoping to do better with the other contests! :) Congrats to the winners - your efforts were really really worthy winners - I think there wre some others too who were really unlucky!
  12. Excited about the sound of these sets but voted Bagend for the reasons stated above! :) All these sets sound very exciting though! :)
  13. My two cents is this - I'd love all the figs I can get and managed to snag some on ebay for inflated prices. Given that TLG has already bought out Superman who was previously an exclusive then surely it's really own the package that is exclusive anyways. I don't see the harm in bringing out the exclusive figures in this way - If they aren't on the backing card then they aren't exlcusives. That said Promo items are cool. Without travelling to the states I doubt I will ever get to own one without shelling out $100+, so in all honesty I probably won't be getting any more. As other people have said there are more important things than having a complete set - I can however understand purists wanting these items. Being geogrpahically cursed is very annoying... :)
  14. The two companies are very different. I don't think brickwarriors is trying to compete with BA. Thrash's latest items are great - he's bringing out new items and products not available anywhere else. the latest clip on kneepads and these bear traps are excellent! So many uses for th bear trap!! :) Keep going Thrash!
  15. It's a custom from citizen brick called "zombie food" :)
  16. superb MOC and nice editing too! The steps look great but I love your minifigs even more! Annk Morpork for the win! :)
  17. Bane is just too cool for school so I voted for him. Such excellent printing! I went with my heart on the Marvel - Doctor Doom is just such an excellent villan, I love this representation!
  18. where I live you can still pick up series 5 and 6 aswell as 7. only a month ago I managed to pick up 7 series 4 from a local post office. We have the olympic figs at a £2.50 each in WHS smith but our John Lewis hasn't received any yet!! I've been trading romans with a friend. I think they are well worth buying as there will always be people who want to build a unit for their Centurion. I believe they will become as popular as the zombie in the long run. Now TLG is bringing out more zombies I think demand for the series one will eventually decline a bit. The aftermarket companies like Eclipsegrafx and Citizen brick to name a few are bringing out quality alternative heads and whole designs in some places which must be helping the zombie MOC makers out there. Personally I have mutliple complete sets of all the series except series 1 and two where I might need the odd figure, as for value I have no idea. I have an unopened box of series 6 and the olympic minifigures aswell and a near complete box of series 7. I bought them as in investment. I think I must have at least 4 sets of series 7 on top. when I came out of my dark age my early focus was on minifigs so I have plenty to trade. :) I recently picked up a number of series 2 figs off a friend on FLickr with the Spartan being the most expensive at $8. Onw good way of picking up CMF's cheap is to watch Ebay and buy job lots of CMF mixed with regular minifigs. I've picked up some total bargains that way! :)
  19. This is so neatly executed! Always love your work Yak! My girlfriend is reading this - can't say I am that interested in picking the book up myself. I may just ask for a synopsis! :)
  20. Welcome aboard fellow Brit! ah the curse of "lego foot" the bane of lego fans and their partners across the world! 4 kids - your house must be madness! :)
  21. congratulations Henrik! What a fabuluos achievement - Keep going and make that world record your own! :D I salute you Sir!
  22. To my horror I put a 1x1 round stud tile on another 1x1 round stud. Trying to get that offf was hell on earth. I think it may have just been the wrong tile on the wrong stud but I nearly lost a tooth on it... next time I will use pliers... :)
  23. Hello as a new member who has basically only been posting MOCs and adding my two cents so far I would like to play a more active part in the community - I think learning to be a reviewer is a good way to start. If possible I would like to join the reviewers academy. I have a number of unopened sets that I would like to review and would love to be able to do a bit more. I particularly enjoy the monster fighters sets although I believe a lot of them have been reviewed already. Thanks Vinny
  24. Xandor that is totally sweet!
