I'm in two minds, It's either a gutsy move or she genuinely believed Andrew? It's far too early in the day to be casting votes. We need to steer clear of jumping to conclusions. as Mary Jane says we can't afford to believe anything she says presently! She's given up Andrew as our investigator so is this a lie? I'm wondering if either he has lied to her or if she is just lying to us. In Andrews defence he can't come out and say either way (as he has already pointed out) without looking suspicious or putting himself in danger. Whatever happens I think Claire should vote early so if she is town then we won't accuse her of bandwagoning or trying to read which way the wind has blown. Other than day 3 it seems to me that's all we can do? We've had one "concrete" lead that we all jumped at and it proved a bum steer? One thing we aren't doing is taking a look at some of the queiter members of class? I nearly got lynched for over "roleplaying" early doors but some people in particular seem to be absent for class quite a lot! Are they trying to fly under the radar? I don't think names need to be mentioned but I wonder if we might hear a bit more from certain stay aways? Has Psykater grilled everyone? He sent me a list of questions aslong as my arm? I've got nothing to hide so I've answered them has everyone else done the same or should I worry because I've been targeted?

Great Work Strongbad! This is a very interesting technique and in my web trawling I've not seen it attempted. This could be of particular use for us when trying to update items made by custom houses! There are a number of items that would merit from being coated with a different colour! Overmolding for the masses! Top work! :thumbup:

Poor Ricky!!! He was a bit silly with his continually editing comments, school rules are pretty tight! This seems to be the first time anyone can actually say with some certainty that they actually know something!!! Let's be honest though if this is a bum steer then suspicion is going to be heavily on Cameron and Claire? Can you give us any more details as to how you found out this information? Did an investigator give you the info (obviously no names required). There are still some very quiet members of the class, are they being quiet because they don't have anything to say or just to keep suspicion away? Regardless I don't see how we can avoid voting for Simone in the face of some actual evidence? Vote: Simone Adamley (Captain Nemo) Can the Teachers confirm that this guide thing was actually found in Simones locker? Going on the word of Claire and Cameron could be risky given their previous track record of inadvertently pointing the finger at Townies?

Am I the only one is suspicious that some people are keeping very quiet and yet garner no suspicion. I'm really not sure who to vote for. Before it seemed to me that Ricky's behaviour was rather off, nothing seems to have changed so I'm going with Mencot on hunch. I'm worried that Claire seems very agressive but I'm pretty sure that she Is town. Not quite sure why everyone is on Wendy so hard. This afternoon after i realised i was wrong with Mary Jane I was leaning towards voting for Ricky and nothing has really transpired that makes me think anyone else is more worthy. My vote was based mostly on being my character and my want for people to pay attention - Mary Jane has apologised and it seems I was taking my role as a nerd a bit seriously! Mary Jane had been saying that I didn't speak or vote on day 1, which I clearly did, she admitted her mistake of not reading all the posts so it would indeed be childish for me to vote for her. In all honesty it seems a lot of people would rather just have a guess rather than vote on actual facts? I left my vote late last time because of time constraints and I really wasn't sure who to vote for bar the person who seemed the craziest, I think we all agree Bud definitely fit that bill. The problem we have is no-one seems to have any actual facts on the matter. Peoples crazy behaviour seems to be the only link? It's easy for people to misinterpret what others are saying. I think it's worth pointing out here that for a lot of us this is the first time we've been to a school like this (mafia type class) so I think that others need to bear this in mind if I/we appear to be overplaying certain aspects in their opinion. @Jeanie Bueller - If you don't think I'm scum then it probably makes more sense for you to vote for someone else? I'm not sure why you find me annoying? Is it because I'm different. As for me not being on your spiritual level the world takes all sorts of people to get along- It kinda sounds like a gut check more than a valid reason to vote for me, but given that I'm in the same boat I can't blame you for deciding I was worth a vote.. I'm not sure what else I can do to convince people for my actions? I've obviously got the "level" wrong as far as some people are concerned. Can anyone offer me any cast iron reasons to put a vote towards someone else? It seems to me that quite a few people are saying very little at the moment? Maybe suspicion should be heading towards those rather than me? I've tried to explain my reasons for my vote today (which I have rescinded) and my lack of it the day before. It seems to me, we need to be a bit careful about who we are voting for, I don't want penalty votes tomorrow for not voting but it also seems a little safer to me, to vote for someone in little danger and not risk expelling another Townie by mistake! I'm going to save my vote until I have a better idea of facts. It might mean a late vote again but how can anyone be sure? As I said above if you guys can convince me that somebody is a bit fishy then please do! I haven't received any pms so I'm feeling a little left out in the cold!

Be honest the only reason I'm getting votes is because of the penalty to fail to vote properly on the first day, My reasons for voting for mostlytechnic are real character reasons. I'm not sure Mary Jane is scum but I wanted people to realize the importance of vigilance! she made wildly inaccurate claims without bothering to check them. Apparently I didn't post on day 1 (in actual fact I made three posts) and although I didn't vote - I tried to vote and got the format wrong. I also openly admitted to being wrong about trying to vote for Bud Fox, but let's be honest I wasn't the only one who thought he came out the wrong side of crazy... Voting for me is entirely your own choice but the only people laughing at the end of the day will be the black mesa scum. I'm roleplaying me and just because one person wasn't smart enough to pick that up people have hopped on a voting band wagon! @Adriano So I'm being punished for roleplaying my character now? @Kristel - I'm just being in character, I can't help doing what I've been told to be. The Masters said we should stay true to our characters and yet people want me to pretend I'm something I'm not. I hope that clarifys some stuff about who I am and why I've done what I've done!

I tried to vote for Bud but due to a clerical error on my part it didn't get counted. I didn't throw out any accusations on day one because as I said before I wanted to listen and see how if I felt a vibe (that's pretty much all we can do initially right?). Well day 1 totally sucked - 3 loyal townies kicked out. Speculation about the number of scum seems a bit pointless to me there must be at least 2, a killer and a framer (at least judging by the look of the strip) but who knows exactly how many? Maybe Scum have special abilities that we don't have? Realistically I guess the number is at least four or once we got rid of one or two of them it would be very difficult for them to do anything. I would suggest that Day 1 votes don't count for much as we were all just pointing fingers on gut rather than anything particularly solid! I tried to Vote for Bud but got it wrong on both counts (vote entry) and subject. When someone outright professes their importance you kinda have to have alarm bells ring in my opinion? @ andrew Clark (Clanure) I figured that anyone who talked that much was definitely up to something. Show's how wrong I was! I'm kinda leaning my suspicions towards quieter people now. We should all be involved if we don't ask questions we'll never find out anything! I agree with you in that I figured that being reasonably quiet on day 1 would allow me to get a feel for who I "felt" was what! That didn't work out at all with my vote and I don't want to make the same mistake twice! Band Practice is so important to me I kind think I took my eye off the ball (to speak in terms that would make sense to you). I don't really know who to suspect or vote for tonight? Normally I would look to outsiders like Adriano as being different and probably a spy but in this case I think that would be stupid as it seems far to obivious to me that Black Mesa wouldn't send in a foreigner as a spy.. I think you are right onthe money with this. If they can do them it would be great to see Holograms like that or perhaps even NRG ninjago characters in Trans Blue, Red, Green, smoke and straight trans!

Bob Busch here! I hope these black mesa trouble makers don't interfere with band practice!?? If they do they'll be getting a bash from my drum stick - No-one messes with the band or my big bass drum!! The Show (and classes) must go on!!

Thanks for the excellent review! I love those minifigs but I totally agree the copter is so MEH!

I recently bought some of the Cb Dr who sets whilst heavily discounted on sale. There are some really interesting bits in there. I used some of their brown cables in a steampunk build and robbed the doctors sonic screwdriver for my own Dr Who project (whenever I get round to that). The cables are great for steampunk I used them here in my WIP, You can't see them properly here but there are also some great "wheels" which act as 2x2 brick toppers, which I have put on the kneed joints. People are quick to dismiss these clone brands but some of the parts are quite fun for non purists like myself. (the CB figs in the bags are quite horrible though IMO ). The Doctor Who figs seem of a far better quality for some reason? There are some really cool and interesting parts I'd like to see lego make :)

Apologies another question. Are we allowed to use minifigs or parts from recent sets which have come out since the minifigs? e.g. a red ninjago straw hat? a turtles minifig. Ice batman? In the same way can we use Chima bricks in the new colours? Just wondering?

Yeah I like how the tyres worked on the leg joints it looked pretty rubbish without them I'm going to remove the yellow and replace with browns and pearl gold. I've got some cool cabling for the joints on the arms they are brown. I'm going to add a little bit of Sidan in there as well for greebling. It needs massive arms which are going to be the real challenge. :)

What did you like? Your enthusiasm and approachable nature made it very easy to participate. What didn't you like? That it only lasted one month! As a less organised builder I wasn't able to finish a lot of my attempts at entry but hey ho there's time later to finish them! What could I have done better? I think you can honestly say there wasn't anything else you could do to make the month better. As I mentioned above your enthusiasm and personality did a huge amount to encourage participation. If you didn't enter, what could I have done to make you more interested? I didn't enter many of the contests but I had vacations for two of the four weeks so it was not your fault. I keenly observed the threads and it brought me back to the Sci Fi forums even more than usual. That said the prizes and trophies were most generous! What do you like better? Trophies or Prizes? or both? Tags are the best rewards in my opinion. For those of us without any it's nice to have lasting recognition! :) What other comments do you have for Sci-Fi month? Can you make it an annual thing maybe have Sci-tember or something :)
