  1. So nice! Very cool MOCs and extremely nice photo editing on each one. The shadows of the base (in the last photo) really stand out to me: shadows can be tricky sometime. Also neat of you to include some information on each ship. Well done! I hope you can sell lots, because it must've taken you a while to create.
  2. What an excellent build! Ayrlego's Port Woodhouse style is very recognizable. Lots of nice details all around, what a gorgeous MOC to look at. The fountain is a really nice touch that adds some extra contrasting color to the build.
  3. Mine is up! Sorry for being on the late side, unforeseen stuff got in the way today but I managed to get it done!
  4. 17th of December: Winter Solstice Offerings
  5. If there's room for one more, could you put me up for the 17th?
  6. Another great build and accompanying story/narration. It's great to see these different aspects of aid coming together. Like others have said: the amount of detail is just perfect. La Societé d'Héracles is glad it could inspire the forces-that-be to do their share of work for the poor and needy .
  7. It was cool to see the build progressing in the build thread and it's great to see it finished. Another clean build as always. I love the stonework, which is mottled and rough with texture, but not over the top as is often seen. Overall it gives me somewhat more of a Castle vibe, but it fits BoBS perfectly as well. The autumn colors look really awesome too. That gigantic tree steals the show! Nice colors and build there. I love how it overhangs the base.
  8. Very nice digital build! I love the details all round, such as the book cases and the winding staircase leading to the first floor. The cross-section is a nice addition to mark this as a shipbuilding school. I also like that you've added all aspects of shipbuilding in this school, ranging from practical woodworking to learning the technical know-how of how a ship is built.
  9. You always nail the autom builds/colors. Lovely small tree there, but the takeaway is how you did the snow. I really like the attention to detail as the much-treaded part of the camp is built using studs while the untouched snow is all smooth and tiles. Neat!
  10. The trees look great! They look gigantic (and thus more realistic) compared to standard Lego trees. Proper masts indeed! I love the muted colors of the MOC: the dark green and brown, with small splashes of white and dark red in the building. It looks like a proper forest scene.
  11. As the others have said: interesting choice of building! It's nice to see the Lotii/influences throughout the building and figures. I always like these 'process' builds that explain how something is made.
  12. I love the ragtag look of these guys. They look like a proper militia or the sorts. I'm not too keen on the name, but that's mostly because of personal thing. 'Raggamuffin' is the title of a song by a Belgian singer and I always think of that song when I read that word and it doesn't match the vibe of the soldiers .
  13. Looking forward to see how this develops! So cool to be able to follow the progress. Nice of you to share!
  14. Nice build! The scene looks so calm and tranquil, you can almost hear the sound of the ocean and the music from the well-built accordion. I really like it!
  15. What a beautiful ship! I've said it before, but I'm not really versed in the field of ships, so I can't tell if something is off or not, but as a MOC it is really beautiful! I really like the color blocking and the way you did the rear of the ship. The build is full of details and the crew looks very original as well. Love those custom torsos. I also like the sails you made. Inspired by the sails of the Imperial Flagship (or what's it called)? The tan feathered shade along the edges of the sails are just a tad bit too harsh to my liking, though. I'd put those at 50% opacity so the result is a bit more subtle, but overall I really like the self-made sails!
  16. Yeah, all-in-all the build isn't that big, but I feel you can also tell a good story with a small build. A large MOC can sometimes feel too empty. Thanks man! Hah, yes, you're right: it's basically just a wall if you put it like that . I did try to get the most of it and elevate the build via presentation. Glad is was liked and didn't go unnoticed. I'd love to make large MOCs, but I think the quality would suffer because I don't have a large enough collection and the builds would maybe become too bland.
  17. The way you did the color transition from tan to dark green is beautiful. I can only echo what the others have already said, but the simplicity of the scene adds to its strength. The figure builds and positioning are perfect too.
  18. I don't know anything about ships, but I love the sleekness of that hull. It's sooo smooth! An excellent build, topped off with some beautiful sails.
  19. I like the log building! I've been wanting to do one of those for a while, but never found a decent way to build it. Adding a door would really finish this off, I think.
  20. Yes, the search for the Northwestern Passage continues! Another excellent build! Like Mesabi said: it is nice to see the lesser known corners of the world. The sheep look great and the absence of wood and bountiful use of stones in construction accentuate the story's claim of Tarn being a wind blasted island.
  21. Clean build! The offset walls add a simple, yet nice extra touch to the scene. Same with the dog and the plant: they both make the build come a bit more alive.
  22. Another great MOC! I like the pole with the flags in the courtyard and the way you made the open book the left statue is holding. The rendering of the white statues looks interesting, though. It seems kind of translucent?
  23. Nice to show another side of the war. It's a well-built scene and the people bringing their belongings make it feel more real and tangible. You're on a roll!
  24. Cool story and very nice build! I really like those huge vats of beer. Or those lids Duplo pieces? I also really like the green things, simple but very ingenious. Those are probably the hops, right? I'm not used to seeing them like that. I'm more used to this sight.
  25. Interesting torsos/figures. Where did you get those, or what brand are those? I like that the column has stopped to accept the flowers. It adds an extra bit of story telling to the scene.
