Welcome to the EBRP, AwesomeStar! I just wanted to say, that your posts are good, so there's nothing to worry about there . However, I read in your last post that Kian is already at the foot of Moun Sophia, while this morning, he was still in Bull territory. I know you probably want to participate in other storylines, but the distance travelled in one day is too much. It's stated somewhere in this thread that it takes two days to cross a square on foot and one day on horseback (real life days ). I should add that to the FAQ . So, you'll have to edit your post . Continue with your ongoing plot first, you haven't said who pulled Kian in the tree and why. Anyway, enjoy your stay here . *EDIT* There you go, added it to FAQ .

Name: Bardock Age: 27 Background: Bardock is a Bull Knight, through and through: he's loud, noisy, loves to have a drink every now and then and enjoys the occasional bar brawl. Though he looks like a brute and mostly acts like one too, he is very kind and compassionate to the people who have earned his respect. Now, he's wandering, looking for adventure. Faction: Bull Knights Class/place in hierarchy: Adventurer Equipment: Spear, axe and oval Bull Knight shield Looks: Auburn beard and hair. Wears normal Bull Knight uniform and a cloak. He carries his axe and pack on his back. Other: He doesn't really like Knight Kingdomers, like most Bulls. -
I love this creation, it's so packed full of details and cool buidling techniques. I hope you will win the contest !

M-5, Lashiek Abu Reis made his way through the narrow streets of Lashiek, the second most ancient city of Ankoria after Ozora. The street was bustling with people as always. The heat in the streets was almost intolerable, but Abu persisted. It wouldn't be much further now to the palace of the bey. The palace of Salih Bey was one of the largest structures in the city. It was visible from every corner of the city as it lay on a small hill. It was originally meant as a fortress to protect the land from Ninja attacks. Later, a town grew around it and became known as Lashiek. Abu Reis climbed the last steps of a stairway leading up to the entrance of the palace. Even though Abu had been here several times before, he kept on being amazed by its sheer beauty. Unlike the heavy, massive, square buildings of Hegathe, the palace of Lashiek was a mix of slender and refined buildings, accompagnied with more original square towers, showing its original purpose. Abu entered the palace through the gates of the main square tower. The palace was bustling with people, servants and soldiers alike. He quickly made his way through the palace, crossing many small courtyards and running through several richly decorated corridors. Luckily for him, he knew his way around, he pitied the people who didn't. Finally, he arrived at the doors of the throne room. He knocked twice and waited for the intricately carved doors to open. As soon as they crept open, Abu stept inside. In front of him was a large throne, carved from obsidian black stone. It was an Ankorian custom for thrones to be made out of such stone, it was a sign of great wealth. The throne was made in several plateaus and on the highest one sat Salih Bey, ruler of Lashiek. Salih Bey was an aging man, with bustling gray eyebrows and beard. He was clad in a white robe and on his head was a white turban. Abu Reis kneeled on his hands and knees, his head touching the floor. "Ahlan wa-Sahlan" Salih Bey said and Abu stood back up. "Ahlan Bik" Abu replied. "Tell me, what brings you here?" the bey asked. "I have plans for another expedition in Ninjaran lands, for plunder and slaves. But I am in desperate need of financers. I have a ship in need of repair and crew, but I haven't got enough money to finance it" "So you come to me, wishing for me to fund your adventures? I must inquire, what is my share in this?" "Your share would be fifteen percent of the profit I make by selling of all loot and slaves. How does that sound to you?" "Seems reasonable to me. I'll see to it that everything is in order for your departure. Don't dissapoint me, Abu" "Have I ever?" "Looks like we have a deal. Ma'a Salaama, Abu and may the Scorpion protect you" "And you too, noble lord" Abu put his fist in his open palm and bowed his head. He turned around and left the room. He was anxious for adventure again, it had been months since his last great razzia in Dragon Masters' land.

Name: Abu Reis Age: 44 Background: Abu Reis hasn't always been the man he is today. He used to live in the Kingdom of Morcia, the Orkosan province to be more precise. What drove him to Ankoria isn't really a publicly known fact, all that people know about him is his reputation. He is a master in organising raids, waging sea battles and selling off his goods at the various markets. Currently, his services have been enlisted by Salih Bey, ruler (bey) of Lashiek. On one of his adventures he acquired his pet sanddragonette Iago, which always accompanies him everywhere. Faction: Scorpion Knights (Kingdom of Ankoria) Class/place in hierarchy: Pirate captain (reis) Equipment: scimitar and dagger Looks: -
I have finaly made a sigfig I really like and which I think kinda represents me in Lego form. Behold my latest sigfig: The dark blue pants can of course be switched for a regular blue one .

Great to have some promotion ! You did a nice job on the banner even though you misspelled EBRP ! Hmm, I'm afraid I'll have to dissapoint you on that one . The reason why I have been inactive lately is 1: I don't really have an interesting plotline set out for my guys, 2: teachers are bugging us with loads of homework and tests which is taking a lot of my time . Even though I'm lacking inpiration and time, I will suscribe a new character to the RP later on, for now you'll have to do with a pic and a name .Meet Abu Reis, Ankorian pirate captain: BTW, welcome to the RP sdpirate !

The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #6
Khorne replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Over here in West-Flanders, when we find something cool, we call it 'bere', which means 'bear' in English . We use 'lekker' too, but it is usually pronounced as 'le'er' without the 'k' . -

"Afraid-ish" would be a more literal translation of the word, but actually its meaning is more along the lines of awesome, really cool, etc.I really loved this issue, one of the best ones so far ! Copmike's mech is just kick megablocks . -
Why would the meeting to rebuild the Old Alliance against Ankoria (=the Scorpion Knights) need a representative from Ankoria ? Don't you mean Morcia(=Jellybean KKII)? It's not that I don't want to send my representative, I just think it's kinda weird . Nah, it's fine. Just have patience, it takes some times to draw them up .Btw, here's a(n unclear) pic of Ptah, royal scribe of the Scorpion King:

I made map with all the current Ankorian landmarks. I'm planning on doing a DMs one later and a BK one after that. I'm having trouble however the get a decent grid on it . Map of the Glorious Kingdom of Ankoria, drawn and inked by Ptah, royal scribe and author of 'Blood and Sand, a Guide to Ankoria' (click for larger version)

O-8, en route to Hegathe "This is just great", sighed Bran, "out of all available jobs, you just had to pick one that leads us to Ankoria didn't ya?" "Stop whining about it, lad, our client pays well and that's all there needs to be to satisfy me" Tobias and Bran stood on the deck of the Serpent, en route to Hegathe, the main port city of the Kingdom of Ankoria. The sun stood high and a nice breeze blew through their hair. The weather, that's the only upside of this entire trip, Bran thought. He had never liked Ankoria, or at least its people and customs. Ankoria itself was a very awe-inspiring country, though, unlike any other the continent. This was mostly due to its unique geography which was very varying: in the north there was the Totombu jungle which subtlely gave way to the Serengeti savannah in central Ankoria. The border with the Dragon Knights' lands in the west was sealed (save for some passes) via a huge mountain range called the Dragontail Mountains which continues even further alongside the Morcian border in the south. Further in the west there is the Mahktesh Gadol desert which also continues along with the mountain ranges towards the south. The most lush, green and fertile place in Ankoria is the east, mostly because of the enormous delta of the Great River and the vicinity of the Fire Mountain, a sleeping vulcano whose ashes turned the lands around in it into fertile plains. In the distance Bran could already make out some of the huge square towers that dominated Hegathe's skyline. Hegathe lay at the foot of the Dragontail mountains, in the Mahktesh Gadol desert. Due to its closeness to Morcian lands, Hegathe also doubled as a fortress, thus explaining its thick walls and massive towers. Hegathe was a bustling merchant city, second only in wealth to the capital, Ozora. The reasons for its wealth are the nearby metal mines and its enormous slave markets. Hegathe was the place to be for a slave trader. Fresh slaves were being brought in every day, all captured during Ankorian raids on Ninja and Morcian lands. This is one of the main reasons Ankorians aren't very popular with the other nations. "Brace yourselves, we're in for a rough ride", said Tobias, who now faced the difficult task of leading the Serpent through the treacherous rocks and small isles that lay scattered before the Hegathian coast.

LOL! Lego is the milk ! That's just awesome ! It means that when the stock of something runs out, they're not going to make new stock. I don't really know an equally short English variant (maybe Out of stock=out of stock).Would any of you know what this means ? * Zeg ne kji oe loat'est - 'k è der gin gedag van * Zôt ol achter ntwolvn zyn - 'k è gin arloiz'an * Zyj ze were kwyt musskien - 't goat joe ginne zak an from: Dommestik en levrancier - 't Hof van Commerce West-Flemish FTW ! (Very) Loose translation would be: * (Could you)Tell me how late it is - I wouldn't have a clue * Would it be after noon (twelve) already - I'm not wearing a watch * Did you lose it again (maybe) - None of your business

Q-10, Monkey Trouppe Inn Smoke curled up from Bran's pipe. That's some of the best tobacco I've had in days, he thought to himself. He was waiting for Tobias, his employer, his brother in arms and above all, his best friend. They had been through a lot ever since the first day Bran joined up with Tobias' merry band of mercenaries. They had built up quite the reputation over time, they were know as top-knotch merchandise, some of the best around, well worth their price. The pub was full of commoners, many of them stopped by at the Inn after a hard day of work at the wharfs of the city, and bohemian lifestyled, lower class artists. Just the kind of people Bran liked. Straight to the point, none of the fancy manners the snobbish nobles have. It was starting to get late, where was Tobias at? Finally, the door of the pub was opened and closed again fast. A man stepped in tightly grasping his hat and pulling his blue duster closely around him. A storm was raging outside. The weather had been this bad for about a week, so the company of mercenaries was stuck in Saint-Martin. The man stepped towards the table Bran was at and took a seat. He took of his hat and shook his head. Rain drups flew all over the place. "Quite the storm out there, ain't it, lad?" "Sure is. What kept ya, by the way?" Bran asked. "Nothing serious, don't worry about it" "So, Toby, did you manage to get the contract?" "I sure did, look like we're back in business" "Let's discuss it over a good glass of beer" Bran said and smiled while gesturing at a waitress.

Just wanted to say I'm finally back . If anyone has questions or anything, fire away! Looks like I have have a lot of catching up to do .
-
Okay, as I seem to been unable to quote people ( |-/ ), I'll just say it. Concerning the "playing" the other members' characters it is as someone already stated: you can control them to get the story going on, but your own character takes priority. On another note, I'll be out of computer for I don't know how long, so you'll just have to solve your problems on your own, I trust you'll be able to manage ;-) .
-
I just wanted to say that if anyone needs some help to achieve something, my characters will take all jobs :-P . They're ready for hire and are most likely found at the Monkey Trouppe Inn (Q-10) ;-) . They'll be there for 2 days or so and then they'll be off again. *EDIT* Those are the lands of the Ninjas. I didn't really know what other picture I should've used for them as none of the other Ninja symbols are in circles :-/ .
-
I like the black one better than the white one, mainly because the black one is all black while you had to grey window thingies on the white one. It would've been better if those thing were white too, but I guess they're not available in white :-( . Still looks awesome though, your Tumbler is probably one of the best minifig scale ones around.

Name: Bran O'Brien Age: 31 Background: His father was a famous pirate who was killed during a battle with Captain Francis de Fleury, a Royal pirate hunter. He was then abandonned by his mother who didn't have the necesary means to take care of him. He grew up in the street of Kingston, a place notorious for its lawlessness and high crime rates. There, he joined the band of Tobias' pirates. He's been serving with the crew of Tobias for some time now and is one of Tobias' most trusted lieutenants. Not much more is known about him, though, except that he will do everything for the right price. He can mostly be found in the Monkey Trouppe Inn, Ste. Marie, nowadays, enjoying some of his tobbaco or drinking a good glas of wine. Faction: None really, although his name suggest a Dark Forest background. He does spend a lot of time in Morcia, though. Class/place in hierarchy: Pirate, mercenary, smuggler ,etc. / Right hand of captain Tobias Equipment: Cutlass Looks: Regular build, though he's not the biggest guy around. He's got medium length shaggy hear and mostly wears somekind of broad bandana covering just his forehead. He's got some braids and beads in his hair. Other: Not really the best swordsmen around, he prefers to talk his way out of things. He is extremely agile and uses this as an advantage during combat. Has a pet monkey called Francis. Loves a good drink, especially wine or absynthe, and smoking his pipe. Name: Tobias Ibsen Age: 42 Background: He was born and raised in the harsh land of the Norsemen, but fled at the age of fifteen, being sick of the cold and boring weather. He served in the Dragon Master army for several years but never made it higher than corporal. He was fired due to excessive drunkenness while on duty. After that he went to the city of Ste. Marie and joined pirate captain Jorge's band of cutthroats. When Jorge was captured and hung by Morcian authorities, Tobias was elected as new captain. Now, he still remains captain of the ship and its men. He earns his money as a smuggler, pirate and mercenary. He is a good friend of Bran's. Faction: Born as a Viking, but he left his nation a long time ago. Class/place in hierarchy: Pirate, mercenary, smuggler ,etc. / Captain Equipment: Cutlass, handaxe Looks: White bearded face, wavy blond-gray hair, his right hand has been replaced by a hook. Other: Loves a good brawl every now and then. -
On foot it takes 2 days to cross a square and by horse (or any other mount) it will only take 1 day. The 'regular' forestmen are those with the brow trim (the light green territory). The other forestmen on the map are Dark Forestmen (those in the dark green territory), their shield has a black border.@ Pencoin: Could you please use a third person perspective? It sounds less repetitive ( *wacko* ) than 1st person :-) .
-
No, I'm not even sure I know what a cache is *wacko* .

It has finaly begun, the EBRP *sweet* . This thread is for continuation of the adventure only. Submitting characters can be done here, discussion must be done here. I hope you will all have fun *y* ! Remember, always begin your post with your location, so everybody knows where you're at ;-) . The map can be viewed here. Enjoy!

No fictional factions are allowed. Only the listed Castle theme factions are allowed. Plus, the island off the north coast is part of the Viking territory. Sure you can create temporary characters, they're your characters, do with them what you want. On the god issue, NO gods are allowed. I thought I made this clear with the "don't make your character invincible rule" :-/ . Plus, I think your character is a bit overpowered. Please change it in order to participate. Sorry, man.*EDIT* Btw, welcome to the game DNL :-) .

Internet Explorer, latest version I think :-$ .
