I am also curious about the voice acting roles in the TV show. Yes I agree, they got Rathbone's voice perfect. I think that most of the cast of Ninjago/ Adventures of Clutch Powers( I'm expecting a sequel to that mind you, at least they have a villian named 'Omega' (Perfect name Lego!) will be in the show. I would be astonished if Lord Vampyre doesn't have a Transylvanian accent, just like Fangtom. I would think that Jack Machammer is voiced by Roger Rose, the actor who voiced Brick Masterson from the Adventures of Clutch Powers. Remember, not all monsters must speak in the show. Perhaps some of the ninjas would be voicing the Monster Fighters. I'm looking forward to that! Omega X

I don't know whether or not someone posted a similar topic somewhere, but just to point out in the toy-fair the monster fighters description of the set they state that there is a TV show coming up based on the theme. Like Ninjago. I'm looking forward to that! Especially seeing Paul Dobson voice a hero, and not a villain( In the meantime, he portrayed Pythor beyond my expectations. Well done!) Omega X

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Omega X replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hmm...what about a Zues minifigure? Zues is the Greek god of the sky and wields a lightning bolt as a weapon. After all, we get Posiedeon(greek god of sea) in Series 7. Just a guess, of course...... Omega X I've noticed something...HERE Edit:Almost half of the minifigures in the graphics are real minifigures released. So perhaps 16 of the 'new' ones will be released in series 8? Omega X -
Wow those structures were just amazing!!! Brick-built Pythor has a closed mouth!! Omega X

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

The Serpentine also has another theme song. It is heard when the falcon spotted the Serpentine going to the Temple of Fire. Lylod Garmadon: He has one theme song(I think). He would most likely have more themes in season 3. his theme song(which I call "Introducing Lylod Garmadon") is heard when the ninjas first meet him. The ninjas theme are heard in the episodes when they turn NRG form- 4,591 replies

I've decided to buy the sets based on the features. Everybody have their own definition of 'features', so here are my definitions: The play features aka playability are usually stated on the back of the box Play features do not include opening cockpit area, flick-fire missiles(used to count those as features), articulation of parts(Eg. Samurai mech, Bionicle) but there are some exceptions(Eg. Fangpyre Truck Ambush) and those scenes that are shown at the back of the box(How to pose the minifigures). Sadly, most sets includes these... However, I do take into consideration the figs in that set. I do not buy Tehnic sets because there are no figs(Yes i know that sounds contradictory) and I hate it when I get multiple figs, but if the sets have NO features at all(Eg. Mummy, Swamp Creature) and it is only the figs that is appealing, I do not buy it. (You can see how close Ghost Train went into that category) I intend to buy the Vampyre Castle for the features(and I DO count GITD parts as features) and also for the figs. But the features outweigh the figs. I wonder what would my mother's reaction when I came home carrying a 'coffin'. Her most possible reaction- and last but not least------   Omega X

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

Hmm... Nice! I've never thought that there are official names for the music. Anyway, here are my analysis: Sensei Wu: Sensei Wu's theme is a 'traditional' theme, which appears countless times(Including start of the first episode-Rise of the snakes) and I suppose the tune the flute plays counts as his theme too Zane: Perhaps the most obvious of all the ninjas. Sadly, his tune is as I call it, a minodic tune. A minor tune is a tune that is sad. "Flight of the Falcon" is the name I have given the theme of the falcon. "Remembering Father" is also heard briefly i episode "All for nothing" With the lone exception of the song that Zane plays with his humor switch on, his tune is a minodic tune. Serpentine:(Oooo, my favorite!! ) Pythor: He has one theme only, as I know. His theme is used in the most climatic scenes, like when the City of Orobourous rises out from the sand, and when he discovers the map to the four silver fang blades. The Seperntine also has a theme song of its own. The theme song is first heard when the Fangpyre invades Ed and edna's junkyard and when the two tribes go to 'war'. It is also heard when Jay gets mistaken for a snake in episode "once bitten, twice shy". Skales and Fangtom: The theme song is heard when Fangtom says: SKALES!! MY OLDEST CHAP!!I WOULD'T BE THINKING I WILL BE FIGHTING YOU!! P.S. Will be updated soon Omega X- 4,591 replies

After serious reconsideration, I've decided to stop commenting on the summer sets. Perhaps I'm just influenced by my 'first look'. After some time, maybe I will change my mind about the summer sets! (I rather doubt it) Any way, let's discuss on another more interesting topic-the soundtrack of the TV show. Every 'movie' needs a good soundtrack to 'bond' all the climatic moments in the movie. Since the second season of Ninjago TV show has just finished, with a third series rumored to be produced, we can now conclude on the themes of the different characters or scenes. Before revealing my own thoughts, I would like the Eurobricks community to post what they think is the best soundtrack and what they think is the soundtrack/themes of the characters(including the Serpentine) P.S. They could have more than one soundtrack Omega X

True, the great Devourer is fighting a flying adversary. However, the Great devourer also fights a flying adversary in the TV show. It curls up a skyscraper(why didn't Lego pose the set in a city? Because Lego doesn't want to produce skyscrapers?) After all, when all the parts of the Great Devourer is connected using ball joints(like the PQ snake), it can also rear up, right? But, there is no point crying over split milk. Lego is not going to change it's mind The four elemental dragons released last year are wonderful(I had one of them myself-the fire dragon). The combined four elemental dragon released this year are "wonderful". Okay, it's better than last year's dragons in terms of functions, but it looks...rumpled up. It's much chunkier and more rumpled up than the dragon that appeared in the TV show. TheRedGuy, why do you think that the mech is terrible? And yes, the dragon looks like a cluster of pieces, even with its wings spread out. P.S. This is my own opinion, sorry for the overwhelming number of negative posts. Omega X

The only scene where the Great Devourer rears up is when he bursts out of the train station. After all, the Great devourer does not slither like rearing up. A great disappointment

Hmm...the Ghost ploybag is very interesting. If the Haunted House is a Moudular House set, the Grandfather Clock would definitely be in it

Just to add on, Doctor BrikDady done a review of Epic Dragon Battle here Whoops I am not sure what happened. I can't access the video. Let me try it again: Because I think that I have posted too much negative comments in this Ninjago forum, I declined to comment regarding Epic Dragon Battle. I once wanted to buy this set, you know, thinking that the Great Devourer is like the cobra from PQ, able to be very pose-able and a lot of other things. Just one word: Lego Ninjago 2012 summer sets have disappointed me very much...

Thanks for your warm welcome. In the meantime, my attempt(s) to go to Denmark ultimately failed . But it is still good to keep trying!

Wow thanks GRogall. We finally can take an up-close look on the "Mad scientist's underground lab" Although I am still curious about the light brick and its propetites. Anyways, thanks Omega X

Nice review, xtremegoogler.

Actually, I, after looking at the vehicle, I am tempted to buy the set...if not for Pythor. He already looks ugly with his mouth dangling open without a hinge and his head descending all the way down to his torso(What were the designers thinking? Him suffering with a sore back?). Now with his arms recolored( NOW what were the designers thinking?? They've not watched the show? ), he is the least appealing to me. If not for the fact that I am intending to collecting all 5 generals, I would not have thought to buy this set. But I must admit, the mechanism in the 'wings' is most interesting... P.S. This is my own opinion only. No offence intended. Omega X

Yes, Whitefang, I am able to meet the requirements on the first post. Omega X

Hello, I am Ng Z. Omega X. Considering the fact that I am still not very familiar with the features with this wonderful forum, I am still an amateur. So, I am inviting all of the members of Eurobricks to comment and guide me in this amazing journey through Eurobricks. I am a teenager who(obviously)is a big fan of Lego. I live in Singapore, in Asia. I have tried to go to Denmark, with varying degrees of success. Besides playing with Lego, my other hobbies include playing the piano and playing the computer(searching for Lego news on the web). Also notice how all my hobbies start with"playing"? For more information, feel free to look at my profile. P.S. When I get more familiar with the blog, feel free to send me a message, and I will try to reply ASAP. Omega X

I don't know much about the features about the sets(which I am using it to decide what sets to buy), so the best thing is to wait for reviews.

Oh I'm so sorry. My sincerest apologies. Anybody knows how to merge topics? Thanks CM4S. Omega X
