Lego has released a lot of summer sets this summer, and thus I had complied this list of video reviews to help you(If it does).I hope I'm not doing something 'illegal' in Eurobricks, but I hope that this list will help you in deciding which set to buy. Is it now? Hmm...there is still room for improvement though. The jazz combination is , in my opinion, a little weird for Ninjago in the first place. I am expecting a more traditional theme, but that is Sensei Wu's theme. Regarding the two songs, my first impression of Weekend Whip is 'What are they mumbling?' until I realized that they are actually echoing the theme itself. "Ninja..GO!! Ninja..GO!! Come on come on lets do the Weekend Whip " or something like that. My first impression of 'I want to be a ninja' is 'Why is there only one line in the entire song?' and that hasn't changed. The singer is only singing "I want to be a ninja ,I want to be a ninja, I want to be a ninja!" and on and on only in different music background. I prefer Weekend Whip because it actually acknowledges the Ninjago theme and Spin-zitzu. But I think that Lego deserves the right to change the music after all. Omega X Edit: The lyrics actually change at the back of the song, but I still think it is weird. Aren't those ninjas already ninjas?

I would like something totally original. Not a remake of any theme, although that would be literally impossible. Perhaps an Egyptian theme. But with gods. The best option is to create a licence with the Kane Chronicles. Omega X

Sorry but...what do you mean? I mean that Lego could probably keep it under wraps for a while, you know , build suspense. But I have already planned what to buy this year and a slight change could destroy my plan. Unfortunately, Palpatine's Arrest is the one that destroyed everything. Hmm...Yes, Palpatine's arrest is very well concealed. Too well concealed. I would be like this if Lego is not stalking this forum from the moment it appeared. It may even have a account here(Anybody named Lego? Just kidding ). So, for Lego, here is a tip: Yes, your security is amazingly not amazing, get it? I like to plan ahead, so concealing it so well that it is only known when it arrives in shops can only give me a heart attack. Perhaps it is a practical joke? Anyway, I would like you to use the effort of keeping it under wraps to keeping deadlines. What do I mean? Almost everything here in Singapore arrives late. I still hadn't seen a sign of the Town Hall set until now...... and the Space Police 3 theme didn't even arrive in stores until the price had risen. Omega X P.S. No offence intended. It is just my own opinion.

One word: Amazing!/Wow!/Spectacular!/Wonderful!/Brilliant!/Mind-blowing(That's one word, right?) Anyway, those vehicles you have created are Amazing,Spectacular,Wonderful,Brilliant and Mind-blowing! hmm...I hope that there are more than two ghosts included. What else can there be? I would expect a detailed interior. Perhaps a really messed up interior, but still detailed. I wouldn't be surprised if Lego coincides the release date with Halloween. Omega X

Well, I promised that something will be posted on Eurobricks today, so here it is: My first MOC! Due to the sad lack of pieces in my collection, I can only do such a small MOC. Sorry. Anyway, comments and critics are strongly welcome. I may upload more pictures if you just kindly state in the comment section below to see a certain angle. Well, enough chit-chat, here it is: Drum-roll plea- *MOC falls down from the sky* Take a few moments to observe the MOC. I've tried to include as many features as possible in this MOC. Includes a minifigure, Zane ZX with no shoulder pad, because it can't fit into the cockpit area. Lets proceed: Here are different angles of the snake shrine. Look out for hidden flick-fire missiles and a snake launcher. Well, the snake launcher is the see-saw in the corner(It's obvious, right? ) So, you load the snake into the see-saw: and you fire it! (Sorry I can't take this kind of images well) There are two flick-fire missiles included in this MOC,disguised as acid. Here they are: Firing in 3,2,1, FIRE! It includes the Hynobrai Staff. Zane's boat is the hardest part of this MOC, after building a lot of prototypes, here is the result(I'm still not satisfied ): It actually looks good with the cockpit closed with no minifigure sitting inside too! Here is the back and the hinge that allows the cockpit to be opened or closed: And there is a hidden missile under the boat! I like hiding things Of course there isn't any flick-fire missile underneath the boat when I showed you a 360. Anyway here are some 'behind the scenes' info: The snake shrine was created out of my frustration after receiving two Ninjago sets and not containing a shrine The snake launcher was inspired by the Venomari Shrine(And so is Zane!) Zane's boat's frame is actually the frame of the boat that came in the Lighthouse Island Creator set Most of Zane's boat is actually parts from his snowspeeder The base of the shrine is modified from one of the small islands that came with the 2011 Ninjago Fire Temple set So, this concludes the introduction of my MOC. As I stated above, comments and critics are strongly welcome. Anyway, if you're wondering why I chose to post this MOC on the 1st of June in Singapore, is that my first MOC should deserve to be posted on the first day of a month, thus opening a path for 29 MOCs to come Regards, Omega X

Hmm...I've just noticed that there is a new Star Wars game called "Battle Orders" there are a lot of planets there. Is it possible that the planets there might be future sets under "Build-able Galaxy"? Omega X

Smashing Bricks have posted some more pictures about this set. Including the functions(I'm surprised at the number of features) and the minifigures included. The link is here About my opinions about this set, I'm pleased, disappointed and surprised. I'm surprised, as I mentioned above, the amount of features that come with this set(No flick-fire missiles, Hooray! )I'm pleased to see the amount of minifigures included in this set. The size of the set is not surprising, but the minifigures that come with this set(How many are there? Let me see...Six! No?) Six minifigures are the amount of minifigures that come in large sized sets, like the Ultra-Sonic Raider. I know that I might be wrong, but it doesn't seem like a large-sized set too me...I'm disappointed at the set itself. I'm sure most of you who read my next sentences might think that I'm barking mad, but it is just my 'first impression' of the set. I think that the set is a little bit too...open. What do I mean? I think expected the set to be more 'enclosed', giving it a feel that the battle took place in the Jedi head-quarters (Right?). However the set , besides the 'shattering glass' and the door, has nothing else to give it a 'office' feel. In other words, I'm disappointed at the sad lack of walls, get it now? P.S. I'm still going to buy this set though... Omega X

The advertisement:(Courtesy of Smashing Bricks) Firstly, may I introduce myself. I am Omega X and I live in Singapore. Due to the sad lack of Lego events in Singapore, I am very excited when I saw the article on Smashing Bricks. When I found out that the family meeting/gathering is held in the same place(Raffles City), I nearly fainted in shock and delight(Of course I didn't) It is held on the third floor of Raffles City. You won't have trouble locating it-all the escalators are pasted with a gigantic poster of the event(That's good!) When you reach there, you will be greeted with this:(Sorry if the photos are blur, I used my hand phone camera) There were Lego Sets on sale(Whether it is special prices, I have no idea). Most interestingly, there are displays. Not ordinary displays, but half-animated displays. What do I mean? I mean that the plastic covering the set is slanted diagonally, such that it reflects/projects the images/videos shown on a TV set 'hidden' on the top, thus creating several effects, such as(For the Ninjago example), the ninjas doing Spinjitzu, as the TV has the ability to project swirling tornado on a ninja. In the Star Wars example, lasers and explosions. However, not all displays are like that. Here is a snapshot of the Ninjago display(Destiny's Bounty): At the center of the fair is a...large display of the map of LEGOLAND Malaysia in miniature scale, but it is still quite big! Hmm...I will give Bricklink a try. Thank you for your suggestions. Regarding the other Lego specialty shops in Singapore, I 've tried some already. Results? One removes all of the minifigures in the box, so there is no box at all(At least saves time), and one which does not do anything to the box and leaves it for sale(Now THAT's good!) the box is already empty by the time I reached there. Hmm...Took me a little time to find this thread, huh? "I am also curious about the voice acting roles in the TV show. Yes I agree, they got Rathbone's voice perfect. I think that most of the cast of Ninjago/ Adventures of Clutch Powers( I'm expecting a sequel to that mind you, at least they have a villian named 'Omega' (Perfect name Lego!) will be in the show. I would be astonished if Lord Vampyre doesn't have a Transylvanian accent, just like Fangtom. I would think that Jack Machammer is voiced by Roger Rose, the actor who voiced Brick Masterson from the Adventures of Clutch Powers. Remember, not all monsters must speak in the show. Perhaps some of the ninjas would be voicing the Monster Fighters. I'm looking forward to that!" This is a post by me in the Monster Fighters theme...until I realized this thread. Basically, i can see Monster Fighters expanding a few episodes. Perhaps it is like this: 1st episode: Introduction 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th episodes: One for each set, why not? 8th, 9th episodes: Two part season finale, maybe? I like them very much, but i am rapidly losing my interest. Here are my reasons: The price of the minifigures in rapidly increasing in Singapore. Yes it seems to be only a little increase in money on Lego.com. But if you convert it into Singapore dollars, the difference is astronomical. You can buy a set already(if you want the entire series of Series 7 you can buy a very large set already) or a ton of food(Not exactly comparable but...*shrug*) The Collectable minifigures are increasing scarce in Singapore.Only available in a bunch of shops. One particular Lego shop( I shall not mention names) actually removes all the highly sought after minifigures from the box almost immediately! So you can stay there feeling for the minifigures(Even the common ones like the Galaxy Patrol) and you are just simply wasting your time! I would like to point this out to Lego. What fairness is that? The Lego shop in question is the only Lego shop in my side of Singapore, so I can only rely on that. I hope that lego could do some measures in preventing this from happening. I am very disappointed regarding this. P.S. I shall not reveal where I stay, but there has been rare sightings of me in the Eastern side of Singapore Omega X
