Hmm...is it something like Hoth on Star Wars? P.S. I own the new Hoth Echo Base, so I am thinking whether should I invest my money in this...

Lego Tintin, is it possible? For those who did not watch the movie "The Adventures of Tintin, Secret of the Unicorn", it tells the story of a young reporter, tintin, who buys a model ship, The Unicorn, not realising that it contains a hidden secret which links back centuries, on what happens on the actual ship itself...He was kidnapped later in the story due to having hidden the scroll that is concealed in the mast and was brought onto a ship. He manages to escape, meeting the ship's captain-the drunken Captain haddock who has the habit of letting loose some of the most interesting curse words I've ever encountered (Eg.Ten Thousand Thundering Typhoons!!!) The mastermind, Mr. Sakerine, found out that the third model ship(Tintin having bought one and he owned one) is in a bulletproof glass case in the palace of the Sultan of Beggar. Having reached there, he uses a very interesting method to obtain the scroll(which includes a voice of 105 decibels and a crank-carious falcon)and escapes. Tintin pursues him. After destroying a dam and flooding the entire city, Sakerine manages to obtain all three scrolls, which, when lined up together, reveals the location of treasure. In the end, Tintin manages to outwit Sakerine and finds the treasure. I am not blessed with the power of telling a 2 hour long movie in a few sentences, so forgive me when some parts don't make sense. please find out more on Wikipedia. Is a Lego tintin theme possible? Voice your thoughts in the comment section please. You're most welcome. In my opinion, it is one of the best movies I have watched. P.S. I've just updated my profile. Feel free to take a look Omega X

I find that the Ghost train is extremely expensive considering the fact that there is almost nothing it can do! I don't count flick-fire missiles as a feature now because it is so commonly used! Besides the flapping wings on the sides, I don't think there is anything left. TLG is probably installing a lot of Glow-in-the-dark parts for this reason. Otherwise it is the set that is the most interesting for me, if not because of the sad lack of features(in the train itself). At least make the ghost train conductor a little different from the rest? P.S. This is only my own opinion. no offence intended.

Hmm...True, Faefrost. In my opinion, the 'play ability' and 'display' functions are linked. When a set is intended for display, its play ability is low(Eg.UCS Super star Destroyer), although there are some exceptions. Thank you Faefrost for voicing your opinion. Omega X May I ask the Eurobricks community is Jabba''s Palace appropriate to be called "The Flagship of the 2012 summer wave"? And why? Omega X

Let's make it simple. One word: WOW!!! I don't own this UCS set(actually I don't own any UCS set(s)at all), but I am very interested in this set already! Wonderful review with witty(not Witwicky from Transformers) humor and mystery. You have done a good excellent review of R2D2! Thank you for sharing this fabulous review with all the Eurobricks members! Omega X

Hey good question Donut! I've never actually thought of that! But better late than never! I'm (to be honest) not actually considering the budget but I still thinks that it wavers up to...*thinks*...US150?US160? For your second question, I think that it is more of a likeness for snakes . So, answering your question, both Nice point, Legocrazy81. Sure enough it makes a very good '3 in 1 pack',right? My 'plan' here is to collect all four/five tribe generals in order to create a MOC for "'Bow to your master! Bow to your master Serpentine !"', which I am sure a lot of members will do so too. Who doesn't like that scene? I'm also planning to get these three for the time being. I will watch other reviews first before I make further judgments. P.S. Pity the Serpentine train set is not released, right? http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120504013024/lego/images/thumb/4/4c/SnakeTrain.jpg/250px-SnakeTrain.jpg I'm also intending to post my first review and MOC soon. The problem is to post which first?

Hello everybody! First may I acknowledge that I have already posted a similar post. But it disappeared. So back to the topic. Which Lego Ninjago 2012 summer set to buy? (Inclusive of spinners and booster packs) Naturally, it also means which Lego ninjago 2012 summer set is the most worth it. P.S. If you found my previous post, please merge the two together.

MOD : Epic battle for the City of Atlantis
Omega X replied to kermit's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very nice MOC,kermit. I really like the way you modified the actual set to make it more sturdy and to make the vehicles 'float'. Perhaps you could capture the axehead in the first doorway in action? Overall, very well done, very detailed battle sequence. Great Job! -
Just asking, which Lego 2012 Star Wars sets do you think is the most worth it in terms of 1)Value of minifigures 2)Features(Play-ability) 3)Collecting 4)Displaying and why?

Hello everybody! As I mentioned in my previous forum, I am not an experienced Lego builder. I'm quite into Lego Ninjago 2012 wave, more than the 2011 wave,LOTR, Collectable Minifigures or Dino. I'm quite into Monster Fighters, but I can imagine my mother's face when I brought home a hearse, graveyard with zombies and a train filled with ghosts.- (She's quite superstitious). Never Mind, back to the topic, I am deciding on which Ninjago 2012 summer sets to buy(inclusive of spinners and booster packs), to make things easier, here are a list of summer 2012 Ninjago sets. (Taken from Brickipedia) 9447 Lasha's Bite Cycle 9448 Samurai Mech 9449 Ultra Sonic Raider 9450 Epic Dragon Battle 9554 Zane ZX 9555 Mezmo 9556 Bytar 9557 Lizaru 9570 NRG-Jay 9571 Fangdam 9572 NRG-Cole 9573 Slithraa 9574 Lloyd ZX 9579 Starter Set 9590 NRG-Zane

Hello everybody! Firstly, may I point out that I am not very experienced in Lego. Thus, I am curious on what set(s) I should buy. So I shall ask the Eurobricks Community this question: How do you decide what Lego set to buy? P.S. Feel free to post your thoughts

Hello everybody! Here's my thoughts for MF (Monster Fighters): Part 1: The minifigures-Good guys(No idea what to call them!) Dr Rodney-TLG has introduced a newer(More interesting?)robotic leg in that minifigure and thus made it more...attractive? The weapond of that minifigure is an interesting choice-the fencing foil which is only available in Collectable Minifigures...until now. P.S. Is he voiced by the same person that voiced Pythor? Jack Mac-hammer-New hammer piece used by Thor, Robotic arm and a car with a gigantic hammer. What is there more to ask? Ann Lee-Camerawoman's hairpiece...without any bones! Very interesting choice. There's nothing wonderful about this minifigure in my opinion Frank Rock-Besides Elvis's hair, nothing else that's extraordinary. Quinton Steele-Same thing, only the new gun piece appeals to me Villains -Lord Vampyre-WONDERFUL JOB, TLG!!...In repeating another Vampire But it is still interesting to me. In my opinion, all the heads contain Phosphorous-the substance used to create Glow-in-the-dark pieces. But only one of the two minifigures created will include the cape. I hate that... Overall for this minifigure, nice. -Vampire's bride-I was shocked to discover that TLG actually released that minifigure. Very unique... The interesting pieces are the conical flask and hair -Vampyre's Minions (1): Man bat. Not the Man-bat from Batman, but an interesting minifigures with hands pointing upwards! It will be useful in MOCs, that's for sure. The interesting parts are the hairpiece and the 'wings' T0 BE CONTINUED...

Wonderful MOC for the Titanic. I had always been fascinated with that ship... Nice use of parts and SNOT techniques in that model. Overall, WELL DONE!!!

I'm not really a Star Wars collector, but I must admit that TLG has done a good job in this wave. I am intending to...review the Malevolence. Omega X
