  1. ...When you buy a vintage set MISB just to ensure the parts aren't messed up. (Guilty ) EDIT: Or when you get exited to see a tiny little piece of plastic in some antique cabinet. (Yesterday)
  2. 1. Some Alpha Team set, who knows what it was. 2. All of them. 3. Combined with Megablocks 4. The first MOC you builded and published on EB? 5. Anything that was big and expensive. 6. Indy Peruvian Temple. (WIP) 7. Too many... 8. Giant Lisa Lamb.
  3. If that was a real car, it would be from the 1940's. But that's close enough, I guess. A nice little car, overall. I think it looks good in black, personally.
  4. Or even Fabuland minifigs, which hardly resemble normal minifigs, but are still incredibly adorable little guys.I think the TS figs should at least be given a chance. They could have some potential to make good MOCs. That is to be discussed elsewhere, not here. (Try the 'Other Themes' thread)
  5. ...When your idea of a 2x4 is not a piece of lumber/wood.
  6. I always end up getting "Ozzy Osbourne Ringtones" or Iron Maiden Ringtones" at the bottom the the Star Wars thread and the Licensed thread. It's like they know... Oh, and everywhere else is Evony.
  7. Thanks. Now I have yet another theme to direct my wallet towards. I actually have yet to buy that version of the Warus, although I need about 10. The one Shadows gave me has the plain red torso, blue legs, and no hat. Still a lovable little guy though. It just occurred to me that I ordered about five CopMike-style bulldogs on Bricklink...
  8. No, but I might give it a shot if I find some time.
  9. And yet another victim of addiction...Quite like myself. Well, now I know at least I'm not the only one who wants more Fabuland, after just getting one sole figure. A walrus, at that. Needless to say, I've been waiting for a large package (chock full of Fabuland) to arrive from France all this week.
  10. This may be a dumb question, but how will you be able to build the interior?Example; Does the roof come off, is the Library modular, etc.? Anyway, excellent work. The detail in this is amazing, and I really love those columns.
  11. How many times are you going to change your name? Anyway, that is a good point as far as 2x4 bricks. I just don't want to waste my money on buying a giant brick bucket for Blue 2x4 Bricks, when I will likely never use any of the other colored bricks in the bucket. (Wow, that sounded racist ) And I completely agree with the second part of your post. There will always be the sob-story of "What ever happenned to the good 'ol days?" It makes sense, really.
  12. I like number 82.And it just occurred to me yesterday that there are very few 2x2 and 2x4 bricks still used in sets. (EDIT--At least used in sets that I buy) I am building a Fabuland Maxifig, and am quickly running out of 2x2s and 2x4s. What ones I do have either came from really old sets I took apart or Creator Brick Buckets, of which I almost never buy.
  13. I think downloading is the main problem.
  14. Not really, as I don't think you can be 'prejudice' against houses. And I'm also afraid of breaking my legs in a deserted town or something.
  15. Lego will probably not ever bring back Spider-Man. I think there is already a discussion like this somewhere.
  16. Well I thought they were interesting.Sort of like a modern day Fabuland, or the closest we will ever get to returning to Fabuland.
  17. That's what I get for spending two seconds to look at each picture. We know. Could be a while...
  18. I was just thinking about PMing you, after reading about your Mickey Mouse Mansion set.Can you send me a PM with what all parts or figs you have, and what you might want?
  19. Nobody else could ever say it better. Pirates----Obviously based on real Pirates.Castle----Based on real castles, just some fictional trolls and whatnot thrown in there. Indy----See Below. Star Wars----Some things in OT and PT are "Metaphors" of real events. Hard to explain. Right. Indy may be fiction, but there is more of a reality to Indy movies than people think. Most of the things in the movies are based on real events and objects. That is exactly right. People just get confused because killing can be classified as protecting.
  20. My computer is a really old piece of crap, and trying to download close to anything at all will freeze it faster than Liquid Oxygen. If somebody could put them on Youtube, I could probably watch them fine though.
  21. Because I am fine with the people, it's just the houses that I don't like.Make sense?
  22. Now that I look at the soilders again, I see that all of the torsos and even one of the helmets are/is printed.
  23. That is exactly what I thought, as soon as I saw it. I'm glad it is in flesh. I need a lot more of a variety of flesh heads.
  24. Well, if Lego doesn't directly make a military line, it looks like they will use other themes like Indy and Toy Story. (click)
  25. Awesome. Everything in that photostream is awesome, even the car with only one mile on it.
