What New Themes or Sets would you like TLG to make?
The Who replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Five words. Modern-Day Fabuland. -
True. I'd get a refund on those Megablocks anyway. I don't know about other people, but my computer is really old and often scrolls immediately after loading to the bottom of the page. So, no, looking at them is not always an option. But I do still see your point, nobody is forcing me to be a member here, so it basically still is an option.

Usually, my local Big Lots only has Generic Brands. I'll probably stop by soon to check anyway.
-
I just meant I thought of that within two minutes of seeing a Snake minifig, that's nothing compared to other stuff I can think of, but this is getting too off topic.
-
Well, you got that part right. Okay, that's good. Yes, but I'd rather not go into detail. Ever tried turning around Snake's helmet on a legless skeleton with his arms out? Does it not look like torture?
-
Wait, so you want that to happen?Because that is a completely rideculous idea, and I can imagine things way, way, worse than that.
-
No, because it's not confirmed that it's Rebel and Imperial.
-
You do know you can just bid on them, right? That same guy has had all sorts of cool custom minifigs up on Ebay, if it's who I think you are talking about. EDIT: This is one example of the work of the guy I mentioned. He's really good.

Great, and I just bought the last SPIII impulse from Toys 'R' Us and opened it. Oh well, maybe next time. I could use another Snake.

What's with the staff's usernames?

So is yours permanent? Now that''s just mean. -
Glad to know they weren't thrown away, or melted down. If you wouldn't mind, could you take a picture? EDIT: What do you mean 'recycle?' If the soldiers themselves called them hats, I'd still call them helmets, because that's what they are.Somebody had to write the script, and that doesn't make it accurate. They could have said Jello for all they care.

I'm pretty sure a rooster is a rooster, not a chicken.

Yeah, I know. As for the Mustang, I have to wait for my sister to upload some pictures for me. (She has the computer and the camera) Around here, muscle cars are classified as old cars, usually gas guzzlers, often with big engines.Something like this Camaro. That's what we call a Tank.

I love coins, and, like others here, don't really go out looking for them but will buy or trade them on occassion.I have way too much to list, though. Most of them are American, as I live in the states. My foriegn ones are just everyday stuff, except for the British coins that were discontinued (Pounds). I am somewhat proud of all of my foreign money, eg. an Egyptian dollar, because I have yet to leave the states into a new country. I do have some rare stuff, but again, most of my stuff is American so my oldest coin is an 1865(?) Flying Eagle Penny. I think I have one coin in particular from Pre-World Wars I/II, that could possibly be from an 'extinct' country that dissapeared after the wars (I sure hope so ). I can't understand anything on it though, no idea what language it is in. I also have all of them, but they are in a big, flat, map of the USA. Each fits smugly into place inside or beside it's state. And that 'gold colored coin' is called a gold dollar. Not real gold. Nothing much special about them. Is there something special about it?

Now this is just wrong. Even Alabama gets snow, but all South Carolina ever gets is rain?!*Sigh* Our only snow melts a few moments after leaving it's clouds. We have even had hail recently, but no snow! Anyway, I'm still browsing around for a car I like. I'm very picky, and want either a Trans-Am ('70's or '80's model), a 1930's pickup truck in good condition (Ford or Chevy), or an old Pantera. Yes, I only like old cars, not a whole lot of newer models. My dad is, extremely slowly, restoring a 1969 Mustang fastback. We got it years ago because the previous owner no longer needed it for Drag Racing. I'll try to post a pic of it soon, if I can.

I think it looks really good. And while not all of the parts were in Fabuland sets, most of them were, so it can still be called a Fabuland MOC.
-
It is, but Military related stuff goes in the Other Themes thread.
-
Okay, I understand what you're saying now.The first part is why I don't constantly interchange legs, arms, and hands. Only when it's required for a MOC. Given that LEGO considers, say, a complete torso to be one part, your opinion also makes sense there. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
-
Oh, great. Now I am not going to buy the set for sure. (But I'll accept it as a gift ) Exactly how could we use those other color variations in a MOC, as this is the proper color for the SW universe? I want one. I would surely like to know.
-
That sounds like a bunch of crap, aside from the Battle Packs. I especially hate that they are back at Episode III sets again, because I absolutly dreaded the first line, and now there are remakes. That would make what, like 12 or 13 different Lukes now? The Bantha and the Tusken Raiders would be the only things to look forward to in this line of sets.
-
Thanks.I'll be going in just a moment... Seriously.
-
Seriously? Please just check the date on a thread before you dig it up, and, even then, it would be prefered that you only dug up a thread if you had something interesting/useful to say. And yes, I'm implying your post was IMO uninteresting and virtually useless. Took a while to figure that out. And his profile says he was last active Today, at 5:54, I think. While I'm here, I might as well say that I first expected this to be a flat base with about 100 stormtroopers and a shuttle, as usual. Clearly, I was wrong here, as this is a really rather large diorama, and the walls make all of the difference to me.
-
I am incredibly indecisive, so: A---Temple Of Doom and Neomodian Shuttle B---Two of the Fighter Plane Attack and one Indy Cairo Marketplace or C---One F.P.A., one Canal Chase, one Cairo Marketp., and the Ne. Shuttle? Can anybody *cough*Oky Wan*cough* give advice, suggestions, or completely different alternatives here? Thanks. EDIT: Btw, money is not the problem here. It's the limited space, plus I have other things to buy.

Pictures? Can you post them, or scan them or something? Even if it isn't finished, I'd be interesting in seeing their progress. -
Okay, just trying this out. (Enter Sandman Music Video) EDIT: Sweet, it works perfectly.
