  1. Already been said. Not 'sometimes' they do go together. Almost always they can fit together with the right System pieces... I have a couple of Scala sets (not ones with the massive figures) and although a lot of the pieces have 'flower patterns' rather than studs, bricks wider than 1 stud both ways will fit on them. The Scala accessories are good, but if you don't like using really big parts in your MOC's, you won't find those bits good. Personally I love the turquoise horse trough pieces, they can be used for a number of strange things. :skull:
  2. I love it! They are beautiful cars! I don't like real cars much, but I always love minifg scale racers! I really want this set. Looking at his designs (amazing ones), it seems you could be right. :skull:
  3. I read this last week or something, but it sounds great anyway! The line was never confirmed cancelled, hopefully we'll get more sets again, then there could be a game. I agree, there are many possibilities fo using magic and things. Ages ago I actually thought a lot about a Lego Harry Potter game in the LSW style, it would be amazing. As for the other one, maybe a second Batman game? Or Clone Wars? I'd prefer another Batman game, and the first one isn't even out! :skull:
  4. Yay! Thank you for the review! Unfortunately this set will be an impossiblity for me to buy, but thanks for the detailed pictures! I guess I can only admire it... :skull:
  5. I voted that I love them, as I cenrtainly do. All fo the factions of the Pirate theme were great, but Islanders was my favourite. I just have an interest in 'tribal' cultures, that's probably the main reason. :skull:
  6. Firstly, Megabloks is available in England, and probably other European countries, so that's no excuse. Also, there are many clone brands available in most countries, so America's not that different from Europe in that sense. :skull:

I actually thought that for ages, only a month or two ago I realised what it actually was! :skull:
  8. I think it's Playmobil, if not it is some other company's, but definately not Lego. Playmobil accessories can come in handy for Lego minifig accessories, sometimes. :skull:

This actually looks great considering it's been made from the pieces of one small set. I've done things like this before, one that I remember is making some kind of bird (a seagull I think) using pieces only in a Star Wars miniset thingy. It turned out pretty good. I wouldn't say you have too much time on your hands when you're talking about a small set, rather more if it was something bigger maybe you have too much time. :skull:
  10. Haha... I meant I prefer Batgirl's suit design and character more than Batwoman's really anyway. It would be cool if we got Oracle as well as Batgirl, although she'd probably be like the Henry Jones Sr in the Lego Indiana Jones Videogame, decoding things on computers. But - I'm not sure how she could use her wheelchair in a very useful way... I was doing that for ages, though I didn't have room to record anymore without deleting other things, so I haven't seen it for a while. I mainly recorded them because they're really funny, especially the puns and Robin's "holies". Edit: Seeing as this is the Gameplay topic, I found a video of Nightwing's gameplay, It looks exciting... Apparently Batgirl is in this video, but I don't see her. :skull:
  11. The newer Batwoman that is. Anyway this is a game for kids, and also I'm not straight myself. Unless I show them all my DVD's recoded from the series! :skull:
  12. Ah well, Batgirl's better than Batwoman anyway. I know! I guess the makers of the game said that to them, and they convinced DC to allow it to be in the game. It looks fun, I remember the disco part in LSWII, in Jabba's Sail Barge, it was actually a nice touch to it as you had to build all the disco "equipment" first, and also the Gammorean Guards playing guitar on their axes. :skull:
  13. Thanks for the cool review, Hinckley. When I saw the picture originally I thought it looked good, but not that good. But seeing the pictures in your review, I love this, I voted it as outstanding because it has great parts, and a brilliant construction, ingenious perhaps! I agree. It's so sad we Europeans can't get it... :skull:
  14. Thanks for the later reply on this, and thank you for your compliments. I actually still have this MOC together from 3 months ago! Your suggestions sound quite cool, I might actually make another Castle version of a Mars Mission set I have (probably a small one). :skull:
  15. Are those the titles you would like to give them? :skull:
  16. It could possibly have been Slyowl, as he replied to your topic and he has the power (I think). I got my title from Bonaparte. It was in the "all members please read" topic about using good grammar. He said all sentences should end with a '.' or ',' or '!' or '?'. I'd never heard of a comma being used at the end of a sentence, so I said that. Bonaparte replied saying "Do you want a shoc(k)? ". I replied to that saying, "No thank you... Or should that be, "No thank you,"" Alas, I got my Smartass title. Now it seems there are three of us who have 'smartass' in our titles. :skull:
  17. Fortunately it was working today, but yesterday I tried opening it about 7 times within those 20 minutes, none of them worked, and I didn't have much going on in the background. Every other topic I looked at on Eurobricks at the same time was working... Also, once I had made that last post, it took ages until the page had loaded up again. At least it's fine now. :skull:
  18. Yay, this is exciting! I started building a Wayne Manor, or rather a large room of it based on the '60s TV series (with moving bookshelf and batpoles!) to go above the Batcave. Unfortunately the inside was good, for a set, but the outsides of it didn't really work, though I would have loved to build a whole Wayne Manor. I look forward to yours. :skull:
  19. I have the Darth Vader Light-Up-Lightsaber figure, and I think they could have the potential to be good, but they're not. For one thing, it looks as though the lightsaber/torch is actually part of the person's arm, rather than then holding on to it. I actually dismantled my Vader figure, the helmet and cape were more useful (although I have about 4 Vaders) and the scalp of his can also be used as some kind of disk with a stud on it. Maybe the LUL figures in future could be LUL arms. As in, the whole workings are in the arm, and there is a little button on the top to make the lightsaber glow. Also the lightsaber coudl be a different colour from the arm so it doesn't look as if it's meant to be attached. That would be better, but probably unlikely.
  20. Meh, well they could maybe get away with it, this would be the second Black Canary (Dinah Laurel Lance), she was in Gotham in Birds of Prey, but not really with Batman... Maybe not. I was actually reading an article the other day in SFX magazine about the Lego Batman Videogame, and near the end it said the makers had few disagreements with DC and were allowed to do what they wanted, but... They wanted to put in a disco thingy where Batman can dance, but DC said they couldn't do that as "Batman doesn't dance"! Nevertheless, they seem to have got over that as it said Batman will be dancing. Edit: I fourth the pinning! Even though more than three other people want it, I think. Pinned or not, at least we still have this topic. :skull:
  21. Not so much related to the subject matter, but this topic just took me 20 minutes to open up! Everything else on the computer was working fine during the time, so I don't think it was my computer... Anyone know why? :skull:
  22. Wow, that's a great piece! It makes me want to get this set even more than I already do, but it is too expensive! :skull:
  23. I think it's good that there are three rounds, as there's only four people taking part. It's probably not going to happen more than three times a year I would think... By the way, when did you get that title? It seems like a semi-contrast to mine. :skull:
  24. They're all scared of Shoc and his smartass stalkerish ways... Wow, lots of "s" alliteration used there... :skull:
  25. Hahah. So do you not actually control the knight, but rather his surroundings? :skull:
