  1. I have corrected the name so everything is factual now.
  2. I think you're right Mr Dreamweb. I just went and checked my Renegade Runners and Raft Raiders and Captain Ironhook's hair is brown! Perhaps Peeron's accidentially used a Captain Roger/Redbeard head.
  3. Excellent! Another review! But you missed out some very vital information: This mini-figure is known as Captain "Ironhook" not "Raft Raider Captain".
  4. And thats why it was "Just Imagine..." back then because you got to decide for yourself whether they pirates or sailors. You're such a lucky boy I'm here to help! X-D
  5. There's only one way to find out... Tantotrooper should build a MOC right this instant!
  6. This is an interesting point and I've noticed The Brickster uses smiliar background images for his Gravestone theme. So what's got me curious is how much changing the background image would alter the MOC's atmosphere. Of course Brickster could go to the lengths Brick Miner suggested by incorporating the location elements into the MOC itself but we don't all have the time and bricks to do such things.
  7. I tried to post but I keep getting a "Page not found" error so maybe the page has been removed. Or maybe it's just being a dickhead on my computer.
  8. That would be most excellent Mr Trooper!
  9. You've almost an interesting optical illusion happening here... Not only does the fusilier look taller but he also looks bigger as well, I suppose that's helped along by his backpack and epaulettes. Is it possible that you could take a couple more pictures from different angles?
  10. The simple design is great! These examples help visualise the possibility of a Dutch sub-theme which we've been discussing in the Your Dream Pirate Sub-Theme Somehow I have this inkling that if The LEGO Group ever make such a sub-theme they'd design all new torsos. But I think we're quite safe from that ever happening.
  11. You could just write the steam trains out altogether and then the 1720 setting would work X-D PS. Pay not attention to the Phes behind the curtain...
  12. I have corrected the title for you. When I first read it I was confused as all hell. *wacko*
  13. Why are you considering steam trucks? Personally I'd be removing the steam power that's already there to make the MOC seem more historic and authentically Piratish. But my imagination is stuck around 1650, not 1850 X-D
  14. Is this thread worth indexing do we all think?
  15. How can he possibly buy them off Bricklink when he's custom making them?
  16. You should probably get it from the store. X-D Try asking anywhere that sells stationary, art supplies or a large newsagency.
  17. Is this height problem a perspective issue? The fusilier looks much taller than the wehrmacht but really there's only a plate difference between their heights. Maybe an image of them side by side would produce less varied results.
  18. What a mighty fine use for a train table X-D Since this is a Work In Progress what else are you going to do with it?
  19. So you're going for a SNOT ship? X-D
  20. Will you be adding mini-figures?
  21. Now get decal-ing young laddie so we can see what you're upto! :-)
  22. Here's Classic-Pirates.com's very own picture of Crocodile Cage: You can see the mini-figure under review is in a spot of bother.
  23. Fairs enough then! What's happening with this ship at the moment?
  24. There are indeed some quite striking similarities there are some differences, most notably the sail design. But the thing I find most striking is they've copied little details like the monkey hanging off the treasure chest.
  25. Lord of Pies, did you take that picture of the pirate mini-figure yourself or did you find it somewhere?
