  1. I'm not 100% sure so I better double check. There's a global economic downturn? And here I was overjoyed at all the great investment opportunities.
  2. They'll give you upto A$50 in compensation (if they're feeling generous) because they won't repair or replace a Skulls Eye Schooner. Read the Limitation of Australia Posts' Limited Liability document for more information.
  3. You were too busy arguing about Virtuals Hosts to notice I mentioned the Twitter profile.
  4. Yeah, they've been around for sometime now but the cheif engineer has been too busy drinking beer to implement them into the Classic-Pirates.com interface. Here's the list: [*]Facebook Page [*]Facebook Group [*]YouTube Channel [*]YouTube Group [*]Twitter [*]MySpace
  5. Aye, that the be one
  6. It appears these games don't use LEGO Pirates branding or any of the newer Pirate and Soldier mini-figures. I suspect this game and The Pirate Code are independent of the actual Pirate theme. The Shop@Home website categorises The Pirate Code in the Exclusive & Hard to Find Items and I presume it will do the same for Pirate Plank. Meanwhile, all the Pirate sets (including the new Imperial Flagship) and merchandise are categorised under Pirates.
  7. Staff are people too ya know? Well one staff member at Eurobricks is a walrus but that's no reason to treat him differently.
  8. Can I be Governor Mister Phes, the Honorary Honorary Citizen?
  9. Does that make me an Honorary Honorary Citizen?
  10. And to add to the confusion I'm actually an Honorary Citizen
  11. The films are rated PG13 and LEGO products core demograph is 8 to 12 year olds. But the Indiana Jones films are rated PG13 and that didn't inhibit a LEGO theme.
  12. I once found a damaged 7093 Skeleton Tower box in a department store. I asked them how much it cost and they said they'd only offer a $3 discount because the store believed packaging didn't have an affect over the actual product. Ah yeah, right I thought... If I wanted to sell it over eBay it would be a lot more than $3 difference.
  13. Aye, but there is already a good deal of Priates of the Carribbean related material in the Pirate Forum.
  14. And what if there was a licenced pirate theme E.g. Pirates of the Carribean
  15. We could split these past couple of posts into a new thread and specifically ask for observations because we probably won't get much of a response under the current thread title.
  16. Although the situation was slightly different with Pirates. First and foremost the Pirate theme had been extinct for over 7 years at the time of Pirate Forum's creation whereas the release of Bionicle products have been concurrent with the entire lifespan of the Bionicle forum. Once again the Pirate Forum is facing a future without new Pirate sets until further notice, but will that make a difference? ABSOLUTELY NOT! The Bionicle forum need never die, all it takes is one persistent and dedicated person to keep the wheels turning, and if there's at least one person prepared to do this others will eventually follow.
  17. Aside from your girlfriend's information, what other evidence is there to suggest Pirate BrickMaster books are selling more than their Castle counterpart? It could be the Pirate Brickmaster sets sell better in your region but this may not be the case globally. Although it should be!
  18. We did have an account of Eurobricks history once but it hasn't been updated since mid 2006. Its been lost and forgotten these days...
  19. Yeah some punk kept repeating for over a year Eurobricks should update its tagline to reflect the increasing international dispersion of its user base. Eventually this suggestion was taken on board and the tagline was updated in 2007, but you'd have to ask Hinckley for a more precise date since he designed the updated skin.
  20. Oh what lovely vegetable garden with succulent juicy cabbages. Or are they lettuce? Ummm... What's the plural of lettuce? Lettuces? Letti?
  21. Is this fleet also British?
  22. I remember a Commodore Amiga game called "Sir Fred"
  23. Ahhhhh Pub Hideout! This is where we can get some Christmas Beer!
  24. Greetings Commodore Marks! Instead of MOCing I've spent most of the time establishing a Pirate LEGO Forum and blog. I've attempted a few smaller MOCs but never found time to build anything overly impressive. The solution to your problem is to just sieze the dormitory next door and use it as your LEGO hold
  25. It's time for filmmaking facts! The order in which film credits are listed is known as "billing" and this is determined by whom the studio deems as most important. This order however is obviously not reflected in the artwork, though the importance is signified through visual prominence.
