I'll have to put them on my "To Do" list. Right now I'm working on a rather large upgrade for Classic-Pirates.com so getting that done in the main priority.

Now taking YOUR ideas for NEW PARTS - LAST DAYS!

Very good! I'd been thinking of those myself. What's the official name for those? That seems like a job for the SlyOwl illustration department! -
Why thank you! There was dozens more of them but it seems during our upgrade to Wordpress they were omitted. I'll have to reinstate them when time permits. We certainly don't condone software piracy around here

WRONG!!! People are free to tell me how useful my backgrounds are But something is going to have to be done about that dead link.

The other Eurobricks Forums better get themselves proactive LEGO Ambassadors then. But the decision isn't mine alone so lets see what everyone else thinks. Although, its important we don't bombard the LEGO Group with non-relevant part requests, that would undermine the purpose here. -

Problem is how well do these arches fit into the Pirate thematic? They might be useful in a church but in terms of general use, would Pirate MOCers find these useful? I'll let the Pirate MOCers answer that. Yes, right you are! Well Maydayartist can clarify if he wishes. Ah yes, the tankard! Now that would work particularly well in the Pirate theme. -

Then why did Dr. Steve reply with "That would be a great new part. Great job!" after I specifically asked "is that what you had in mind?" So Dr. Steve, if that's not what you're after please provide feedback. It's probably better SlyOwl takes this one on because he's a much more experienced builder than I and he knows how to illustrate the parts. I'll bring your post to his attention if he doesn't reply soon. -

SlyOwl came up with this - is that what you had in mind? -
Does this include coins in MISB sets?
-
Well that's the point, the BSB has increased in value nicely and is likely to continue doing so. Anyway, ignore that deviation... It's not relevant to the topic. SpringSmurf and Aquila D'oro seem to have provided a reason answer so lets all head down to the pub for some grog.

They're now worth over $300 in MISB condition

Congrats to Captain Zuloo and Captain Blackmoor!
Mister Phes replied to Big Cam's topic in LEGO Pirates
Captain Zuloo has been a Shipyard Master for quite a while now, it's only been a recent decision to reintroduce tags for Shipyard Masters. Captain Blackmoor has a Shipyard Master tag as well. -

Mister Phes replied to Zorro's topic in LEGO Pirates
Zorro forgot to mention you will receive one-on-one training so you'll know exactly what to do. You'll learn new skills and gain experience as being part of a team, or "crew" in our case. -

Now that's quite amusing -
Newer pirate sets, are they worth getting?
Mister Phes replied to Aquila D'oro's topic in LEGO Pirates
Depends whose dollar you're referring to, some dollars are worth more at present. But generally speaking, if your currency goes down then the exchange rate will make LEGO sets more expensive. -

Why doess the first post of this thread merely say "closed"? It would far more meaningful if the original question remained, particularly to those who have the same question(s). I presume the first post was:- 502 replies

I'm having a silly debate with a friend over the opening title sequence of "Monkey" series 1, which was broadcast on ABC TV in Australia throughout the 80's. He insists both the words "Monkey" and "Magic" appeared as textual titles in the opening sequence. Certainly the show is known as "Monkey Magic" by fans because of the theme song, but from memory the opening sequence only had the title "Monkey". It was identical to this version on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iUMWy4hqAg He also claims they "reverted the title back" to "Monkey" for the Australian DVD release. As I do not have VHS recorded copies of any Monkey episodes I don't have proof. So I'm wondering if somebody in Australia has copies, or knows of an online digitised version of the ABC opening sequence? I'm 99.9% certain the textual title was just "Monkey" in all ABC Australia broadcasts and the word "Magic" was just part of the theme song.

Look what I just got - Report your latest Pirate LEGO acquisitions
Mister Phes replied to V()()D()()'s topic in LEGO Pirates
Yes, so it would seem... -
I wasn't referring to you General Armendariz. I meant the pass recruits whom went AWOL and were subsequentally dismissed.
-
Ideally we'd have somebody whose sole purpose was to maintain the social networking accounts. Unfortunately our past volunteers haven't been very dedicated to their task and seem to have gone AWOL within 2 weeks. As we haven't gone to lengths advertising the Classic-Pirates.com Social Setwork we haven't pushed to find somebody to fill the position.
