DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion

Yes, the Bizarro movie was definitely not the best story ever. Still worth the purchase for Batzarro, but not very interested in watching it again any time soon.- 8,446 replies

Nice, detailed build and fantastic posed. I like the scribble face good cop head as a "stunned" face!

I prefer the fleshy heads. Way more variety with all the different skin tones. If I find a yellow figure I really like, I tend to replace the head so it'll fit in better with my other minifigures.

What do you prefer?, Lego Batman or Lego DC superheroes
TheLegoJoker replied to Jackattack7's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm mainly interested in the figures rather than the sets, so I'm happier with the DC Superheroes line. I like the variety and am always ready to add more heroes and villains to my collection. -
I"m staying away from most sets these days because of space, but I'll definitely be picking up the minifigs. I'm also thrilled that the exclusive characters aren't vital characters. If I never get a black Leo or a battle damaged Kraang (as cool as he looks) I can still get the regular versions of these characters. Nice!

That's quite alright with me. Along with several others, I prefer the comic versions to the movie versions of the characters, anyway. -
Nice photo, BaraSH!

Brilliant work! I really need to make a hideout for my Joker. If I could do something half as good as this, I'd be happy.

GoPetition: LEGO SDCC Minifigures exclusives
TheLegoJoker replied to Alex Blake's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm not going to sit here and cry about not being able to get the exclusives, but I do wish they were made available to everyone else. I do not feel the need to "catch them all" with other LEGO themes, but the Super Hero theme is my favorite and I would like to be able to get all the different characters produced without spending $500-600 for 4 figures. I understand that exclusives have been around for a long time but, as was previously mentioned, they usually consisted of a color variation of an existing character. Other companies offer exclusive characters at conventions, but normally they are produced in much larger quantities than the LEGO figures and are generally available to the public after the show. If LEGO sees enough demand for these characters, maybe eventually they will produce the same/ similar versions of these characters. For that reason, I'm willing to sign the petition. No, I'm not going to die without them, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want them. -
I have two extra TC-14s for trade. Still sealed in the polybag. Looking for: Shirtless Darth Maul Chrome Darth Vader I realize that the Chrome Vader is worth around double the value of TC-14, so I'm offering 2 for 1 for Vader. I haven't done any trades here yet, but you can check my ebay feedback as "thelegojoker" if you'd like to see my references. Not against shipping worldwide, but US trades will be preferred as they are easier to track.

I love HISHE! I think your cafe is about as good as it can get in LEGO form. The salt & pepper shakers are a nice touch.

For years, I hated MB because of poor quality I encountered with sets I purchasesd. Bricks not holding together or being improperly molded seemed to be common occurrances. Everything about the brand screamed "poor man's LEGO" to me. I do think they've stepped up their game in more recent years, though, and they seem to be trying to create their own identity with more molded pieces rather than relying almost entirely on brick built sets and their redesigned minifigure. The downside for me is that the minifigures look less like block figures now and more like tiny action figures, so they do not fit in with my LEGO collection. So, while they're not my cup of tea, I applaud MB for at least making an effort to improve their product.

Monster Fighters 2012

Make sure you check the end caps. Around here, the Target stores are stocking all the Monsters and LOTR on the end caps only. Nothing in the main LEGO aisle. -

Nice shot of Electro Suit Batman. As was already mentioned, it's a nice touch that they added the printing to the cowl. -
Lex is totally rockin' that turban. Nice job on these!

Bizarro is the one figure of the four that I would have splurged on, so I don't blame you for buying it. However, you should get what you paid for, and since the pic didn't show the damage I would return it and get a different one.

Been working on a vacation Joker figure, and I figured I'd throw a few props together and see how it looks. Cad Bane's hat makes a great sun hat, and Joker's pasty skin needs all the protection it can get. Anyway, it's more of a work in progress but, aside from the poor lighting and Harley's wetsuit instead of a bikini, I'm somewhat pleased with it. Joker's Vacation by TheLegoJoker, on Flickr
