I had the exact same reservations about Batman, and I agree that he ended up looking fine how he is. Most of the pictures I see of Iron Man don't look too flattering but, much like Batman, there's just something about the figure once you have him in hand. I think he looks great. I'd still like a standard, printed head Iron Man as seen in the Toy Fair promos at some point but I'm pretty happy with the Avengers Iron Man.

Nice review. I'm looking forward to getting this set, but I'm going to hold off until the LEGO store Hulk promo starts before I buy it. I'll be buying Cap and the Magneto sets first.

This is my most anticipated set. The build looks good, but I've always loved Magneto, and LEGO really did a good job on him. Deadpool and Wolverine are just bonuses to me. Nice review.

Looks like a neat set. I like the Hulk, but I agree he could have been way better if he had articulation in the legs and neck. Also, that Loki head is Bruce Wayne's head, who looks similar to Lex, who looks similar to Superman, etc...

I know what you mean. I think they did a good job on him. I think he's every bit as cool as the Wampa I have, and he wouldn't really have worked as a standard minifigure... though I would have loved one of those as well.

I didn't get the Riddler one until I clicked the picture and saw it full size. Bravo!!

Until recently, I would have said Batman and LOTR. Since both are back or coming up, I'm pretty excited. Now, I'd like to see GI Joe and Masters of the Universe. Probably will never happen, but that's why we call them dreams, right?

Not as into Star Wars sets as I used to be, but I recently found General Grievous' Starfighter at Target for $14.95. Not sure why it was on clearance when nothing else was, but I wasn't going to complain about it, either.

I initially hated the Iron Man figure. The head was way oversized. These newer shots show that LEGO fixed the issue and his head, while still being somewhat oversized, doesn't bother me. I remember thinking the Batman figure was going to be crap originally as well. Improved head Iron Man gets my vote.

All three are really good, and IMO better than the LEGO official versions. It was hard to pick a decisive winner, but I chose the Batwing as the best of the three.

While I would like to see some detal in the torso, it's still a nice custom. The graveyard looks great. Another nice job.

I love the display, and that Mad Hatter is excellent. Very nicely done!

POTC: On Stranger Tides I didn't think it was nearly as bad as the reviews I saw. Not my favorite of the series, but I enjoyed it.

Just wanted to say "hi" to everyone. I'm a longtime fan of LEGO and, though I'd never registered until now, have been a lurker here for several years. Until about two years ago I had a pretty enormous collection. I bought just about every set released from every theme at the height of my collecting. Other collectibles began demanding my money, and I fell out of love with my LEGO. I liquidated my collection (completely) and focused on other things. However, the newer, shinier, and more costly collectibles didn't give me the same enjoyment I got from my LEGO figures, so I recently jumped back in and am starting a new, more focused collection from scratch. I am a fleshie lover so I mainly stick to the licensed lines, with the Super Heroes being my favorite. I'm really only interested in the traditional yellow characters if I can convert them to fleshies. (gonna win me a lot of fans with that comment ) Aside from LEGO, the only other figures I collect now are Minimates, which I imagine many of you are familiar with. I don't generally have a lot to say about things, so I won't be setting any post count records or anything. Just figured I'd join in the event I'd like to share my opinion on a topic. If you actually read this far, thanks.
