  1. I have unintentionally quoted Scorpion. I swear, I didn't want to. Just ignore that and go on, don't worry, I don't have a spear. Ta-dah, custom LEGO Reptile and custom LEGO Erron Black: http://i.imgur.com/LEEUqgO.jpg to be honest they aren't even among my favourite characters of the franchise but - quite frankly - I thought I could create them almost effortless in little time. You know, I'm not very good at customizing minifigs but still I hope you'll appreciate my work. I like them though, especially the cowboy which was easier to do due to his only appareance in the last MK game (MK X, 2015) . The lizard ninja instead, since his debut in the 90s, likes to frequently change his look...so I put up a mixture of sorts, let's say so. \\\\ PARTS USED Reptile > head: Legends Of Chima > mask: Ninjago > torso: Collectibles Minifigures series 10 [Medusa] > tail: CM series 5 [Lizard Man] > snake blade: Ninjago > eye talisman: I say Chima but it's actually a guess > legs: CM The Lego Movie series [shakespeare, rotfl; ok, seriously talking...Shakespeare] Erron Black > hat: CM series 13 [sheriff] > head: can't remember, come on, it is so featureless! Any angry one fits well, duh! > bandana: CM series 6 [bandit] > torso: CM series 11 [barbarian] > pistol: CM series 13 [sheriff] > legs: CM series 13 [the usual Sheriff...how strange, huh? I bet you were expecting the Bride from series 7 here]
  2. Meanwhile I managed to get a total of thirty-two more packs. Scarecrow and grandma seem to be pretty hard to find, since they're the only two missing from my S11 collection at this point.
  3. With two welders, two climbers, an Yeti, a lady robot and a jazz musician among the first seven packs on last saturday morning (October 12th)...that's quite a good beginning for my hunt, but still not excellent.
  4. 16 more packs among Ipercoop and Toys Center were needed, but I managed to find the warrior woman at the very end. Dunno if "completed" is the right word due to that damn Mr Gold, so...series 10 "sixteened" (?) too, let's say so.
  5. Yay, three more (bumblebee girl - trivia: she was in the very last pack remaining to the store, the exposition one - , skydiver and trendsetter) in the ten packs of this morning! I only need that damn warrior woman now, FFFFUUUU!
  6. Yup! Just added tomahawk warrior, decorator, mechanic and grandpa (among twelve more packs) to my series 10 collection. Four to go now, not five since I don't have high expectations of finding Mr Gold.
  7. I'm REALLY late...but I finally bought my first twelve series 10 packs, completing half of it already. In details: + three more romans and another captain. Not a bad beginning at all, I'd say!
  8. Just give me insects and pigs, then I can die happy.
  9. How about a tribe of blood thirsty cannibals against a group of unlucky tourists? I'm afraid that could sound a bit racist, though...not only for the dark skin, but for the "african = savage" stereotype.
  10. Vulcan Raven from Metal Gear Solid made me love those birds, so definitely crows. I hope for a brand-new bull faction in the next Chima wave, though.
  11. This is art; it should be in a museum, like the Louvre or something like that.
  12. Speechless and breathless... You are such a genius!
  13. I want that masterpiece so badly... I'm proud of the fact that it came from an italian like me. Only a genius could think to the white snake as smoke.
  14. http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/858450_10200592671568364_1047037527_o.jpg Warrior chicken, the Legends Of Chima's new hero.
  15. http://sphotos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-frc1/859220_10200532561105640_2044254891_o.jpg My family in LEGO version. From left to right: my father, me, my brother, his girlfriend (and almost wife), my mother.
  16. Yesterday morning I took 16 more packs. This afternoon I opened them and completed series 9 in 44 total attempts, but what an incredible finish! At the eighth I still was at the beginning point (5 minifigs missing), with the usual wave of policemen; than the epic comeback began. I found in a row two plumbers, an alien avenger, a roller derby girl and in the third from last there was a battle mech. Before opening the very last I thinked "Damn, now for only one fig (forest maiden) I'll have to spend more money"...when suddenly I saw a bow falling from the pack. It was the maiden's. Without even pulling her out of the box I ran outside on the balcony screaming, with naked chest plus zero degrees: someone must have thinked "He's crazy", some other one "But the match (Celtic-Juventus) is not began yet".
  17. Never been a fan of those two: spinners are too similar to Beyblade, while speedorz are too few customizable.
  18. Personally I love it and I think it's an excellent heir of Ninjago. The general lackness of places and buildings in the sets is well balanced with the overall epicness of the figs: much more various/detailed than the ninjas, IMO.
  19. Collection improved last morning with the Hollywood starlet, the waiter, the judge and the chicken; now only five to go! Funny, I found respectively one and two of them among 28 packs.
  20. Seven different minifigs among the first dozen of packs: fortune teller, knight (x2), cyclops (x2), policeman (x3), mermaid, roman emperor, mr. good & evil (x2).
  21. I ran out of adjectives for WhiteFang's reviews, they're too epic to be described with mere words. Ninth series amazed me as well, becaming my favourite: apart from containing some of the best minifigs I've ever seen in my entire life, for the first time there's no one that I hate or simply dislike. Who more, who less...I want them all, though. Now let's see the details of my feedback. Waiter > I'm not the biggest fan around here of civilian figs; still a similar attention to details deserves my appreciation. 7/10. Cyclops > *fap fap fap fap*. 10/10. Hollywood Starlet > I adore Marilyn Monroe, so you can easily understand why I love this elegant plastic lady so much. 10/10. Heroic Knight > Quite classic: meaning extremely versatile, which is a good thing. 7/10. Roman Emperor > Veni, vidi, vici emi (multos)*. 9/10. Policeman > I can't get tired of cops: they are never too many, especially if well made as this guy. 7/10. Chicken Suit Guy > The chicken is the symbol of my city's (Bari) soccer/football team, nicknamed "I galletti" in italian: therefore is a must-have, at least for me. 9/10. Roller Derby Girl > Impressive detail's level, from the elbow guards to the skates: how to turn an anonymous figure into a cool one. 8/10. Fortune Teller > Every single damn part of her is a little masterpiece. 9/10. Judge > Phoenix Wright MOCs, I'm coming! God, look at that hairpiece... 8/10. Alien Avenger > The very same shape of Galaxy Patrol from series 7, a bit disappointing in that sense; nevertheless, the pieces' new design is terrific. 7/10. Mermaid > Soooo cute; also useful for my Atlantis sets, populated almost exclusively with mermen. 9/10. Battle Mech > My personal n°1 CMF among all 144, any other comment is needed? Breathtaking? Stunning? 10/10. Mr Good and Evil > A perfect example of the great idea + nice realization combo. 8/10. Forest Maiden > Perhaps the minifigure I like the least...but hey, I said "like": she just doesn't drive me mad, that's it. 7/10. Plumber > Pretty simple minifig, although that plunger makes me laugh: dunno why, I find it somewhat funny! 7/10. * For those of you who don't know, "emi multos" means "I bought a lot of" in Latin.
  22. I was serious, didn't know that for real; I'm italian, so I guess this is the reason why. Thanks, anyway.
  23. I base my ratings on this, assuming it's a correct preview. Sea Captain > Cool idea and nice realization, that gull (new piece I guess, am I right?) is simply lovely. 7/10. Sad Clown > That was an almost identical minifig in some early series, if I remember correctly; and apart from that, I find it quite ugly-useless. 3/10. Librarian > She doesn't tell me much, I can't find any interesting part on her or use for her. 5/10. Grandpa > Nothing special, but still ok to me. 6/10. Bumblebee Girl > Much appreciated, animal costumes are always welcome. 8/10. Roman Commander > Basically the same guy from series 6, only with a slightly different helmet and without a shield: no, thanks. 4/10. Warrior Woman > More fighting chicks? Yes, please. 8/10. Decorator > Not exactly what I was dreaming of; but hey, I'll take one or two. 6/10. Tomahawk Warrior > Excellent army building potential and great design, too. 9/10. Trendsetter > I love sexy girls + I love dogs = hell yeah! 9/10. Baseball Fielder > Could have been better with a hat and/or a ball. 6/10. Revolution Soldier > Always had a crush on historical minifigs, especially if well made like this. 9/10. Motorcycle Mechanic > Can't wait to put my hands on him and my motorcycle under him. 8/10. Medusa > Two words: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! 10/10. Skydiver > Not good, not bad. 6/10. Paintball Player > What the f*ck is paintball, LOL? I like the fig and mostly the gun, though. 7/10.
