Yeah, you aren't a section of the fan base that Bricker was referring to. Unless you saw her 1.0 canister, or her bio online, there is no way to tell that she's "female". Considering that Hero Factory is supposed to be appealing to that exact audience (the quick, first time buyers), I would call that a "problem".

Hey, Front, what do you think the odds are of us getting some new bone pieces this summer? There are some gaps in the parts numbers where some different sizes would fit perfectly, eg 3 stud length size difference between 90616 and 90613, perfect for a 90615 and 90614 of the two missing sizes, as well as the size 7 armor piece.
-
Are you implying that he has more than five of the hand pieces themselves (93575), or just that combined with the new y-joints is greater than five? Because if that guy has 5 of 93575, hot damn I need as many Witch Doctors as I can get. As well as Fangz. I hope they both can do that in set form (it's pretty possible, seeing how the tusks are added in Raw Jaw's case at least)
-
Bulk almost definitely does, and it's probably safe to assume that Stormer, Rocka, and Nex do as well.
-
Furno uses Raw Jaw's tusks as upper arm armor. And Bulk, maybe Rocka, and maybe Nex use the new spike piece, that some of the villains use as armor, as weaponry. Awesome. Well, I guess that Witch Doctor also uses them as weapons at the head of his staff. Which is also awesome.

I believe that Darkness Falls was referring to the damage that the knee design does to the ball sockets that are being used, and everyone else was talking about that.
-
I would rather have giant monsters than vehicles, hands down.
-
I believe I understand perfectly what you meant. I will try to get a picture for you to demonstrate how well it works. EDIT: Not the best picture, but it shows that it works. I decided to use Evo because he always reminded me of a football player, so it seemed fitting.
-
Yes, it is possible. I like how it looks combined with the wide armor piece, used as shoulder and shin armor in Drilldozer.
-
Ah, thank you. Front, I hope you're planning on posting more pictures of that creation of yours ;)

Front, where are those wing pieces from? I'm not sure if they are new or not, I rarely venture outside BIONICLE / Hero Factory sets, but they are really interesting. We hope.

I agree, but I think it might get a little repetitive. And it doesn't make all that much sense, from a storyline standpoint, for Hero Factory to stay a certain way for a long time, then suddenly upgrade their heroes every six months to a new "version." If Hero Factory were to end, would the new building style end as well? Or would there be another series that uses it? I could care less about the HF series, but I am in love with the new building system.

The red lines are just as likely to be more tusks, tusks like Nex has. The face is clearly different. It has a distinct brow. They also point downward as opposed to forward. You can also tell from the absence of absence of the top two holes that Waspix and Scorpio have. They also have a different shape. Raw Jaw has only triangles. The mandibles are a significantly different shape. They are also angled, in a different plane than Raw Jaw's. The top of the mandible-head is really similar to the shin guard introduced in '09. Raw Jaw totally has the same kind of brow that Furno the First had.

Ok so Rocka 3.0 is pretty clearly yellow, taking over Evo's role. But Rocka XL looks pretty gold to me.

Anyone else notice the cool new piece that Stormer, Stringer, Rocka, and most of the villains have that allows the claws? This should be a cool piece, and a cool wave. Bulk doesn't look bulky enough though. And Stormer has a "villain core" on his arm. Maybe a trophy. I think it would be better if they'd just released another wave of 2.0, with 4 new heroes and Bulk and Stringer. 3.0 Doesn't make sense this soon. But whatever, the sets look awesome so I'm not going to complain. :D I can't really make out a whole lot on the villains, but they also look pretty good. They seem to have a new spiky armor piece probably similar to the fire piece on the most recent wave. And does Witch Doctor have two heads?? Because it looks like he does, on his really weird / long weapon arm, and that is AWESOME. I wonder how much this guy's gonna cost. He certainly looks better than Fire Lord (although I am quite a bit more fond of Fire Lord in person).
-
Except Evo, he's mysteriously absent. Anyone know if they are in TRU stores yet?
-
I'm not quite sure how this happened haha sorry about that
-
You're right; I hadn't checked Nex's. I'd just checked the reviews that had been posted so far, of which Nex is the only one missing. Never mind, I must have just missed it earlier. It makes sense that they'd give the tech guy the thin frame, though.
-
Stormer has a different torso from the other Heroes. It's more slim-shouldered. I think I may have to exchange his torso with Breez's when I get them. He also has long shins, and shorter arms. I'm surprised that they didn't mess around with anyone else's proportions like they did with his.
-
Instead of the AWESOME CLAW I was totally looking forward to :( Maybe it's just on his other hand now. Well, Fire Lord seems to have a more balanced color scheme, but yeah, that could just be the lighting. I tend to think not though, due to DV's hints. I like how... earthy Drilldozer's is. It makes him seem like a dwarf. Mixed with a bulldog (he totally has a bulldog face). I'm eager to see where you're getting your information from. Probably a little more eager to find that out than I am to see the sets themselves. I'm surprised no one has commented on the new descriptions of the villains and heroes yet... Or the purple on Evo. Or the fact that each set has its own custom printed armor piece. Also, Drilldozer has a tail and Nitroblast has a double-arm on his left arm.
-
I don't know how bad that is, in this case. Jetbug and Nitroblast looked like they had long heads anyway, and I didn't think that was a bad thing. Of course, I'm going to withhold my final judgment until we get pictures of the actual sets, but from what I can tell it's probably not that bad. But it does just come down to personal tastes.
-
Hey, dual masks aren't that bad. I'm actually quite a fan of them. Yeah, you can see the little nubs on Fire Lord's horns. I want to see how well they attach to Jetbug's head. The more I look at the villains' constructions, the more confused I get. How do they have so many things attached to their backs? Are Drilldozer's arms really that pathetic? Does he have unique torso armor? What's the deal? It makes me even more excited for them to come out. At least the Heroes seem straightforward enough.
-
Actually, if you look at the back part of Jetbug's head you can clearly see Nitroblast's eye piece. Also, you can see Drilldozer's "eyebrows" on the back of Fire Lord's head.
-
Well, what's probably the case is that they're the same images, just edited differently. A combination of this (large image warning) and this make me think that is the case. The box pictures ARE exactly the same, but with a quality change due to printing and then scanning as opposed to just posting the original image. And now I'm really curious to see Fire Lord in order to see how big of changes can be made during the finalization process.

I am looking at the first pictures we got of the villains and the pictures on that site, and I can find absolutely no difference. I agree, there probably won't be much difference between these and the final products, but saying that these are more finalized products isn't a valid justification. Same goes for Evo using blue instead of purple. I don't know how likely purple is, probably not very, but I'm still hoping it's the final color.
