  1. @dalle Welcome to the Guilds! Great to see you back building medieval Lego again
  2. Thanks! Good opportunity to kickstart HSS again Another question: is it a hard 64 stud limit (within the border) in either direction or is it like in some other challenges ok with a longer side as long as it keeps within 64x64 = 4096 studs...?
  3. @Peter S and @adde51 Great sigfigs and backstories! Looking forward to seeing the dusty and prosperous cities of western Kaliphlin grow Especially excited where such a productive builder as you @adde51 will take Mophet!
  4. Great start to have such an open challenge, can't wait to see all the new places which will be built here! Is it still so that challenge builds are not counted towards HSS categories? Imho it would otherwise be a great way to kickstart some new settlements or boost old cities
  5. I love the idea of Gnomish pyromancers!
  6. Nice new sigfig! Looking forward to the revelation of the backstory From the Asian influences I am suspecting Eastern Kaliphlin... For those of us not very into Ninjago, what are the parts for your sigfig? And which of them are mandatory vs open for creative interpretation if we want to re-create your figure...?
  7. Interesting backstory and location! It fits very well with my idea of Kaliphlin that the availability of water dictates where people live The Moduverse base hints at more to come...? Something I think it could have been improved on this build however is that the rock wall color mix is a tad too busy. It works OK in the close-up picture, but on the overall picture it makes the shape of the build hard to distinguish.
  8. Welcome to Kaliphlin! Great choice of guild, Robin Looking forward to Janduin’s adventures! Will we also see something of Cold Rocks too...?
  9. Welcome to Barqa! Stay safe! After all the turmoil in Kaliphlin and the decimation of the Barqan city guard the city is not as safe as it used to be...
  10. Great idea to make a painting as an all-Lego scene! (The style is definitely not outdated )
  11. @Zilmrud Welcome to the Guilds! Although you unfortunately picked the wrong guild I’m very much looking forward to having Z’s adventures in Kaliphlin as your backstory develops Good to see more builders using the same distinction as me between yellow and flesh colored figures with the former as humans and the later as elves
  12. Great to see you back in Kaliphlin DM!
  13. Great start to the new style! I like how much details you have managed to fit in the limited footprint, without looking too cramped My favorite part is the brick building to the left.
  14. Nice figures and good backstory! Do I sense a certain Irish influence here...? The easiest way to get decent lighting is outside on a cloudy day or in the shadow.
  15. @(Luc)ky Luke Welcome to Historica (and Eurobricks)! Very nice sigfig
  16. Nice sturdy ship! I love the closeup shot of de Gothia and his sons
  17. Back when Chima was new the established GoH name was Leanders if I remember correctly. But it seems like a great idea if there would be several different sub-races of catfolk, at least different regional names for them
  18. Have you made an index of your builds somewhere? Otherwise it’s an enjoyable exercise to go through all your own builds in a post with pics and links to the topics and tie them together with a summary of the overall story betweenr the builds
  19. And I thought megablocks were the cheap alternative? Oh, I have one of those sets and will give it to the kids...should probably be playable without the awning.
  20. You don’t happen to know the part IDs...?
  21. Nice layout and surprising color choices That is some interesting weapons you have there too on the glaive and gate, BaP findings...?
  22. Feels like home in Kaliphlin if it wasn’t for the dinos Nice scene overall, I particularly like the forced perspective through the archways Where are those orange awnings from btw...?
  23. Time to do something funny to make a moderator grant you a new title then?
  24. So much attention to the rock work of the back of the build
  25. This is a great build overall with some lovely details, it was great to be able to see it live at Klossfestivalen The presentation is top notch too, I like the mix between showing the whole build in focus from different angles and the closeup shots with more limited depth of field emphasizing different details and figs. Keep up the good work!! (Sorry for the late feedback...)
