I'm not usually a trains guy, but this is a really neat MOC! The designs are great and they're really realistic. My favourites are the blue P&O ones. Good work!

Star Wars - Executor - Darth Vader's Super Star Destroyer
purpleparadox replied to Jedi Micky's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Woah. That is incredible. It's massive! I love the use of Lifelites, it adds a very impressive effect to the whole thing. And to think you started this project at age 14, it's really inspiring. Everybody, go to his MOCpages, have a look at the more detailed photos. Jedi Micky, you need to take this to conventions and stuff! You've got a bright future. (I've always wanted to use the Darth Vader emoticon.) -
Nice one! Hopefully I'll be posting a pic or two today, because I just got a Mace Windu (CW variant) and I'd like to do some photography with it.

That's sweet! You used some awesome techniques with just standard plates and bricks. I especially like how you connected the fins to the body. Well, thanks! I feel inspired now.

MOC: Intimidator Class Assault Cruiser (Mini)
purpleparadox replied to Admiral-Ackbar's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Really nice! I know how you feel having a lack of parts, but this is great. I'm starting to like mini-scaled MOCs more and more! Could you post a comparison with the "real" ship? Again, good job! -
1 I think you do need to change it. I'm not entirely sure, though. 2 Forever and ever and ever...yessss, me precious, we will be FRIENDS and play forever and ever....

I think it's likely....but not in the series directly after them. It seems a bit too soon. I'd expect the bluecoat in Series 10.

I would love The Big Bang Theory in Lego. There could be a set that comes with absolutely tiny Lego bricks, and it could recreate the scene where Sheldon's building The Death Star set! But it's never going to happen. It's probably just a name for the Arctic theme.

For me it's "I don't have enough time to play this game because school isn't over until Thursday!" You got lucky! I'm going to head off to my EB Games again to see if they have any extras I can buy. Yes, I want a 3rd Lex Luthor polybag. It takes a while to position it but eventually I can get it to look/fit okay.

I'm now participating! Mildly disturbing, I turned my MALE sigfig into a female "Friend". Have a look:

I can't say the interior really does anything for me, but I do like the gold sign with the rocket ship. Maybe you could add a few more details like that? -
Option to manually change skins
purpleparadox replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
I'd be sold on it- if they used (flesh tone) minifigs instead of minidolls. Oh well. By the way, Hive, it looks like you can't fight the Friendliness! -
Some of these are awesome! I love The Penguin's new avatar. Looks like I need to get working on this!

I like the username- purple is the best! (see my username as well. ) I'm jealous of that set you've got, do a review! And music is one of my main interests too. See ya around!

I could've sworn it was the debrickifier... Looks like I need to go re-watch that cutscene.

I agree. It looks awesome! A BIG thank-you to Hinckley and Shadows. -
Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
purpleparadox replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
While I think he did phrase it a bit too rudely...wasn't he just trying to say that in fun? I don't think he really meant "MY COLLECTION ROCKS YOURS SUCKS!". I could be wrong though, in which case, I'll say please don't show off your collection in that manner. -
Thanks guys! The vig wasn't too detailed...I just built it to show off the minifigs. I really do like the Batman-in-bulky-armour look.

"Lex Luthor has invented a gun called "The Deconstructor". Powered by Kryptonite, it can tear apart any shiny black objects. With his gun and a power suit, Lex is wreaking havoc on Gotham! I have to go stop him." I was looking at my minifig pieces and noticed: Galaxy Patrol armour-dark blue, Batman fig- dark blue! It seemed like a match made in heaven. So, of course I had to show this Batman variant off by having him fight the other "suit of armour" character I have. Donning a suit of blue armour (so it doesn't get torn apart), Batman went to stop Lex. Lex's point of view (kind of): Batman's point of view: Without any figs: And, probably the most interesting part, the pics of "Super-Armoured Batman": Well, there's my tablescrap for the day. I guess I have my new Lex minifig on the brain! Thanks for looking! Comments and criticism are always welcome.

REVIEW : 9498 Saesee Tiin's Starfighter
purpleparadox replied to aayla-secura's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The Skiff is definitely better. But I'm thinking I need to get both. After I pick up the Republic Frigate on sale for $75 in a local store. And LOTR. -
I've been insanely excited for this game, but I never got around to watching any trailers until yesterday (clicked COMING SOON option on Lego Batman 2). Looks great! Although I'm quite dissapointed that they used burping for humor in the Balrog scene.

Changing your name, your avatar...it's almost hard to remember who you are! EDIT: Oops...I usually don't quote images. Sorry 'bout that.

You win. That is MASSIVE! Holy cow, I'm jealous. Approx. how much did all that cost?
