Awesome! Now brick-build it, eh? Would you share the .lxf file, so I can play around with it a bit? I'd just like a more in-depth look at the model.

I think he means the promo minifig version. This one. But I might be wrong. EDIT: By the way, if you do mean the Hulk minifigure, go for it! It looks awesome.

There's no knowing that for sure. By the second or third film, we could be getting waves that include a few Hobbit sets and a few LOTR sets!

(Small) Ruin of Osgiliath
purpleparadox replied to Imperial Technology's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Awesome MOC. It's designed perfectly. Just the right amount of detail to make it feel like it was once an impressive structure, reduced to ruins. Great minifig posing, too! -
The giant clown-face entrance is fantastic! I love the idea of trees for hair. And the Lifelites set the whole thing off! Nice work.

Review: SDCC 2012 Hobbit Bilbo exclusive
purpleparadox replied to Solscud007's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks for the pictures! Bilbo's torso and head printing, like the rest of the LOTR figs, is outstanding. I'm glad we're getting this same Bilbo in The Hobbit sets soon! The burlap sack it comes in looks very nice too, very Tolkien-esque. -
I don't know for sure if this is how SheepEater got his copy, but I do seem to remember a temporary price mixup on the TRU online store. Helm's Deep was listed for $80 and the people who bought it then did get their orders delivered.

MOC: "When you wish upon a [miniland] star..."
purpleparadox replied to Athos's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm not usually one for princesses, but these are pretty good! They're all recognizable. Even to someone like me, who doesn't know much about princesses. There's only one thing wrong (and I can't believe I spotted this): I'm fairly sure Aladdin is a boy. -
Excellent photography! My favourite is the Spiderman pic. It was cool to begin with, and the shadows make it look fantastic.

From Almaak to Zotax: all the planets in the LEGO galaxies...
purpleparadox replied to TalonCard's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Hmm, I'd guess X2½ is Imperial Throneworld, like you said. And I think TalonCard is still here, last active June 27, 2012! -
Zombie Fighters
purpleparadox replied to Hammerstein NWC's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Cool scene. There's so many zombies! You're making me consider buying a bunch of zombie heads from some customizer, even though I'm not that much into the zombie genre! That's an interesting technique used for the road. I've been wondering what the heck I can do with all my CMF stands... -
Lego 80th Anniversary and Cake Polybag Promo
purpleparadox replied to HawkLord's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's designed pretty well. I do like it, I'm happy to see it being offered, but I probably wouldn't pay for it if it didn't come free with a purchase. I've gotta agree with JackJonespaw and say I'd rather see a minifig. Party hats all the way! -
Woah! Awesome MOCs. They seem accurate down to the finest detail, and I'm quite impressed that they're life-sized. Approximately how much did each guitar cost to build? And how long did it take you?
-
Holy. Mother. Of. Bats. That's the best Lego-photo-edit I've seen in a long time! Do you mind if I use that as my computer wallpaper? Awesomeawesomeawesome!!
-
Not much more to say than this: AWESOME Batpod ya got there! I love the lighting in the first picture. Now all it needs is Batman.

Show your LOTR pictures and armies
purpleparadox replied to TheDarkness's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
He probably means customs. But I'd love to be proven wrong and be told that they're officially released! -
Wow, Ricey! Absolutely Friends-tastic! I love the colour schemes of each individual deck, and all the sweet little details. My favourite has to be the Pink Deck, with those awesome ships and speeders. Looking forward to the Rainbow Deck!

It'd be nice to get a mix of medals, y'know, just for a bit more realism. But how would TLG go about deciding which sport gets which medal? Some fan might get upset if Lego gave one fig bronze, for example, because they'd assume Lego thinks GB isn't amazing at that sport. It's all tricky decisions for TLG and I'd say they handled it pretty well.

Well, we (Canada) have got another medal...silver in rowing! Let's keep it up!

[MOC] Batman & Batpod (Moodland Scale)
purpleparadox replied to M<0><0<DSWIM's topic in LEGO Licensed
You should put all of your MOCs on CUUSOO! It wouldn't take long for at least one of 'em to hit 10k supporters. -
Welcome to Eurobricks, SupaFreak! Superheroes and LOTR are two of my favourite themes as well, alongside Star Wars. I was lucky enough to get some of the original Batman sets, including the one with Mr. Freeze. I gotta say, I'm glad I did, now that I see those Bricklink prices for him! See ya around! -purpleparadox

I just thought, the movie might spark people's interest in reading the actual book, and I didn't want to spoil it for 'em.
