  9. The detail of the LOTR Minifigures are quite amazing I think lego is doing a grand job to get them right! Wonder how the Hobbit dwarfs will look?
  10. Apple does it all the time! and last year the official info to the PS was released only 4 days before the set was released! We might get some info very soon!
  11. Seems that the Lego Group will be releasing a new book? I can't find anymore info then the listing on Amazon and the picture of the cover. Update! Found a description Toy of the Year; Toy of the Century; Greatest Toy of All Time... there aren t many titles that haven t been bestowed on LEGO toys, and it s not hard to see why. From its inception in the early 1930s right up until today the LEGO Group s history is as colourful as the toys it makes. Few other playthings share the LEGO brand s creative spirit, educative benefits, resilience, quality and universal appeal. The LEGO name is now synonymous with play time, but it wasn t always so. This history charts the birth of the LEGO Group from the workshop of a Danish carpenter and its steady growth as a small, family-run toy manufacturer to its current position as a market-leading, award-winning brand. The company s growing catalogue of products including the earliest wooden toys, plastic bricks, play themes and other building systems such as DUPLO, Technic and MINDSTORMS are chronicled in detail, alongside the manufacturing process, LEGOLAND parks, licensed toys and computer games. Learn all about how LEGO pulled itself out of an economic crisis and embraced technology to make building blocks relevant to 21st-Century children and discover the vibrant fan community of kids and adults whose conventions, websites and artwork keep the LEGO spirit alive. As nostalgic as it is contemporary Building a History will have you reminiscing about old Classic Space sets, rummaging through the attic for forgotten minifigure friends and playing with whatever LEGO bricks you can get your hands on (even if it means sharing with your kids). Picture links to HR cover! It will be a paperback, published by Pen & Sword Books and go for £9.89, €18,99 $??.?? Does anybody know more? Edit* found a description.
  12. I would also recommend GE before PS, Besides that it will be the next to go, after FB which will not last through march. But by the end of the year or soon after GE will be gone! Also since these buildings are so contagious you'r going to kick yourself if you do miss out on GE! look how many people are already trying to scrounge up the parts for CC or GG....... Definitely get GE before you will regret it!
  13. OK, PM me the details!
  14. Well, more hard decisions !? I give 3 point to 4. Inn by Dix 1 point 8. Train Station by cava 1 point 13. Chocolate Shop by Cecilie good luck to all!
  15. Well, If you went from CC to GG the guy sweeping vegetables into the trash bin would hint at GG From GG to FB would be the fire hydrant next to the lamp post, From FB to GE would be the lady with the tan purse. After that it gets lost. I some how have the feeling that maybe the Town Hall should have been last years Modular Building but that Jamie did not get the set done in time or was not happy with it for the release. Which would have given the hint from GE to TH with the wedding mannequins in the window! I wander if we will ever find out!!?
  16. You are only able to activate a poll when you get Knighted! +500 posts ore more!
  17. Sorry replied to wrong thread!
  18. Funny!? Would have thought that TLG would give us some info by now? The Contact that told me it would be released on February 1st. I should correctly say I was told the beginning of February, In which I assumed he/she meant February first! Oh well, Guess no cash for Lego this month then!
  19. There is a difference between the "Best" & "Favorite" Modular Building! 10182 Café Corner is my favorite Modular Building, but 10185 Green Grocer is IMO the best one... Then 10211 Grand Emporium, 10224 Town Hall, 10218 Pet Shop and last 10197 Fire Brigade. I still don't consider 10190 Market Street as part of the series!
  20. Lego updated its Architecture website yesterday! I wander what it will be?
  21. Lego has changed the picture on the web site today
  22. Wow, Nice Job! I think you got my vote
  23. although BS is backup for viewing the pics you can't upload anything! but at least there is a maintenance notice! We are currently performing system maintenance that affects your account. Please try again later.
  24. Just to let you know its back up!
  25. Wow, Wondermonkey's and Woolie's entry are great! Sadly although I have the set, I not going to open any of the five that I own because I can't store the set anywhere when I'm done! But good luck to all the rest! Someday I'll get a train tag for all the official HR images that I post. So I hope?
