    As a long time Lego train fan 30+ years I will gladly join this forum! Actually the Santa Fe Super Chief is what ended my dark ages about 6 or 7 years ago. I ended up building it with seven cars moccing 2 B units and building James Mathis version of an observation car. I still have 5 Loks and 10 of each of the cars MISB. Both of the A units are motorized and have 9V Lights I was never able to get a # version. I bought 3 of 10027 train shed's only having build one till now. Have 4, 10133 BNSF locomotive 1 build and 10 of 10170 TTX double stock car MISB. 3, 10173 Holiday Trains MISB. 5 10194 Emerald Night MISB 5 10219 Mearsk Train MISB 40, 4515 9V Straight Track MISB, 5 Sets opened. 20, 4520 9V Curve Track MISB 5, 9V Switches MISB 1, 9V Crossing MISB 10, 9V Motor's, 7 MISB The only thing I don't have is room to build a layout.......

    Well since it seems that the Emerald Night set is coming to a close, and also sadly Lego did not release any more cars for the set I ended up buying 5 so I can still make a train when I decide to build it! As for the Mearsk train this is probably my second favorite train after the Santa Fe Super Chief. I hope that when Lego does release the next exclusive train set in 2013 and it is a passenger train. that they learn from their mistake and release some additional cars for the set! Since we got a 19 century European steam engine and the a 20 century American diesel engine my hopes would be a mid 19 century electric train! ether a PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD GG-1 ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE, PRR 4890 or an 3015 E-Lok "Krokodil" Both of these in a nice brown would look awesome! so just keeping my hopes up!

    Thanks for the review Silent Mode! Wander why this set is so much popular then the first one? I guess the Santa Minifigure and the new 1x1 round piece are at fault. Hope they repeat the offer again next year with something new! also the scene with Knecht Ruprecht is a laugh

    Thank's but none taken! For those hopping it will be a tavern or pub, I hate to disappoint you. But remember these sets are primely designed for kids and I don't think a pub or tavern is something Lego has in mind for them!

    I was able to get the set today when I bought 10155 Maersk Line container ship which was an incredible price of €76.99 plus a 20% discount with a "rubbing" card! I was also able to buy the first set for €9.95 - 10% hope they have some of the second sets left over, so I can buy some of them as well!

    Just a reminder! Tomorrow and Saturday are the only two days to get the second set From a Lego store or S@H, so hurry!

    Well the problem is Lego's fault the sent out an email which in German, it says that you just get the second set for free and nothing about any purchase necessary. Which was then corrected with a second email a couple of hours later! So don't blame me!
