  1. Theoretically train battery box could fit inside because roof is actually 2 studs thick.
  2. But some sort of very slim BB (max 3 studs high), don't you think? Your coffin comparison has a point
  3. It is this part https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2432#T=S&O={"iconly":0} Only in orange I do not see Land Rover logo on them (like Bugatti)
  4. I thought it was language... Screening in Arabian like Allah Akbar? About fenders; all offroaders have wider fenders and this one's can be used on trucks. Release date 4th October...
  5. Now we have saloon Offroader and as you mentioned Dacia (which is no Offroader and will never win any beauty content if I may say in that way). Good news about real is that it will have ladder type chassis and not just selfcarying like VW Golf or other road cars...and old Range Rover had proper suspension that is the truth... https://www.pinterest.com/pin/192317846570138712/
  6. It suppose to be a joke, but if you like it could be Dieselhead, why not
  7. Most Defenders are powered with Diesel engines (torque is more important for off-road than Shire power)
  8. Rims look like they have zero offset (current racing wheels within technic line like on 42099 set have negative offset; so pivot point is closer to edge of rim.
  9. To me it looks at least like dbg pins in black rims...but I hope for bigger images very soon
  10. Tires are 99% from 42000 set and rims are new with 56 x 34 mm dimensions...perhaps hubs from 42099 are inside them...
  11. You're welcome. It was posted here ...and here is a website... https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/lego-and-bricks/lego-technic/lego-42110-technic-land-rover-defender/p/176191 Chiron had 3600 parts and (probably) more expensive engine, introduction of new gears...but when we see inventory for Landy we will get more precise answer to your question... perhaps it has something to do with class where real vehicle belongs?
  12. Since it has sequential gearbox + winch + ... It will be more technical set that 42096 Yes, now imagine those on M.A.N...that was something I was thinking about every day driving to work and home when I overtake TGS...
  13. @Ngoc Nguyen it us just rendering based on speculations but it us very close to real one.
  14. Detailed on-line 6 cylinder engine...I just hope not another Mack Anthem like engine ... Discovery has V6 engines, so I was hoping it could be used in Defender as well...
  15. It is beautiful Interesting us that Landy uses rims that were circulating when unofficial images of 42099 were spreading all over... And tires look like from 42000 set?
  16. Then there is nothing against it, and with it it looks more "finished" Moc.
  17. From this view it looks very nice indeed About removable dead weight platform, I have one question about it (and the answer inclooded between lines): did it aid Ballance (better weight distribution) or vice versa?
  18. It was, but I think it was rejected due to licensing issue and not the fact that TLC was not able to build it.
  19. Could be 1:12 scale, but tires will be different like this If there will be pickup 110 version then 62.4 tires are very good choice, but I don't think there will be possible to fit in almost 2500 parts (if it will be Offroader only without trailer or some auxiliary equipment)
  20. This is more likely, scale 1:10 is what I'm targeting...but everything is up to tires...remember that Land Rover Defender (like Discovery, Range Rover, Evoque...) has tires with some 750mm overall diameter, so we could calculate what will fit typical Lego scales...
  21. You could not explain it better. People do not live their lives but others and the same is with things they make...
  22. I'm afraid @Cumulonimbus is right; because set 42110 represents new model for 2020 it will have independent suspension on all 4 wheels. Because it is 4WD vehicle there will be almost the same solution for front and rear axle (only front will be steered)
  23. Here are some additional images if this could help
  24. Totally agree. This is in general the way all problems escalate; this "not much"... that is "not much" and lots of this minor issues and the result is "Houston we have a problem"
