VII...? Don't believe Supershadow, kids... Oh god o_o Is that what he meant? I thought he was just confused Seriously though, SuperShadow isn't meant to be serious, I'm pretty sure that whole place is a joke site (of a guy with REALLY no life, who took the joke too far), but he's so ridiculous I don't think he's MEANT to believed, I think people just took him WAY too seriously, which just made him laugh at everyone who thinks he's for real. In case you guys don't know what we're talking about, there's SuperShadow's site! btw, I just noticed the new FIXED layout when posting!

Thank you Mr. Point-out-the-obvious. -l2k- Yeah...I have to admit, you have been a little mean lately lighten up! we're the FUN lego forum he wasn't doing any harm, so no need to get in a fuss about it Now back on topic with this MOC! I love it, I saw it as he built it stage by stage and posted it on BS. It reminds me of the old setups in the Lego Catalogues

VII...?

No, look at his status. He's unregistered (which is possible when EB switched the board around), but...I could've sworn that they made it so you couldn't post unless you were registered in the settings...someone needs an IP-ban <_<

Anyway, Star Wars has definitely kept Lego alive and thriving these past few years, and I've seen them innovate more with designs and building techniques than I have in past memory! Star Wars is definitely a great asset to Lego (not just because of my name ), I think their classic space lines were running...rather dry anyway. Maybe they'll be able to be more creative and have a space line at the same time in a few years (although not likely) I thought EB was set so people couldn't post unregistered? Sigh...

From B&H, a large electronics and camera carrier in the US, and I'm pretty sure they're in Canada too (when will we get our smilies back?!)

It can be useful for figs that can use magic/fire ki blasts, etc really nice effect
-
Well, I have a fairly powerful laser pointer, and I aimed it down the rod. It'll work with blue too (to make a more soothing green), and I'm sure it would work with purple too. I also found another use for it, would anyone like to see?

The Freighteners on SciFi

You mean the animated series? Well, they can do side-stories too, it doesn't all have to be about the main characters
-
Well, I was messing around with one of my custom figs, and I came upon an interesting effect with a lightsaber blade. Tell me what you think of it. Also note, the photo was not manipulated in the slightest
-
Exactly. The animated series takes place during the clone wars (think another season), and the live-action show takes place inbetween episodes III and IV

Starwars4J replied to sam89's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Yes, it should be that. Can't you change it, mr. phes? You have mod powers. Well, technically the second isn't totally correct either It would have to be KK2 Year 3, as KK Year 3 implies the same as KK3 -
Actually, this would probably go in the "Your Own Creations" forum...at least that's where I put it when I posted this a few weeks ago The original topic is here and is the website of the person who actually made them, along with the backstory to it all. Quite an interesting read!

who you think will do joker? Um...look at the dates mentioned. They're talking about Batman Begins in that page. Although there definitely is a sequel according to the information provided by other members in the thread Hawk [link=http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hp&id=1808403071&cf=prev] Look It Awesome! http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hp&id=1808403071&cf=prev Look It Awesome!

*jealous* Glad that you're having a good day! Happy birthday!

I had no idea either... I think it's better left to the Admins anyway
-
But there's just something so much more satisfying about something like that, as opposed to 10 smaller projects...
-
Really? I thought due to its nature, E-bay USA was best for sets and Bricklink was best for invidial figs, and parts. Are star wars troopers exceptions?
-
I'm sure you know of the site, but it really is the best place to buy parts/figs. www.bricklink.com

I don't despise you at all! Geez, can't a guy give an opinion that doesn't agree with yours without it becoming anything personal? o_O Actually it was That's exactly my point. Do you even know what a n00b is? A "newb" is someone who is new. These people generally have low post counts. A "n00b" is someone who trolls, is annoying, etc. Now please explain to me what having a sig, an avatar, and the AMAZNG ability to split quotes have anything to do with you being a noob? Any moron can split a quote, or find an avatar, or a sig. I personally don't WANT them. You do. That doesn't make me a noob, and it doesn't make you not one. Now keep in mind that I'm not attacking you personally, I'm just pointing out the glaring holes in your logic here. Sigs mean nothing. Avatars mean nothing. And I assume the thing about your ability to split quotes was a joke, right? Just keep in mind, the other posters will respect someone more with fewer posts with a higher quality, than some of the banned members who were in the 500's within a day! Does that make them "vets"? No, it just makes them annoying. Actually you couldn't be more wrong. People who garner my respect are those who type long, and thoughtful posts that consist of more than just "LOL". It has to do with attitude, not pictures, or any sort of praise (I have yet to post a single MOC of mine here, actually) I thought it was explained, didn't you read it? I don't like the idea of "rating" users, especially with a "noob" catagory. It's really detrimental to the community, and would make it just...well, no fun to play. Well, judging so far by the quality of the posts that have been made, I certaintly don't see a high level of debate. However you could just be holding that back. I mean seriously, saying that noob has anything to do with an avatar, or the ability to split a quote? o_O Actually I was just supporting another member, who voiced similar opinions about this topic, who you flamed. I actually do wish you success in this topic, which is why I suggest that if you have anything further to say, that we continue this over PM, as we're getting quite off-topic...all I did was give an opinion, no need to turn this into some huge flame war, ya know? Oh, and where did I change my opinion? Darn. But I have to say, I have nothing against you. I was merely voicing my opinion about the sanctity of a thread. See, that's what you failed to understand. My comments were NOT aimed against you in the initial post (though you rather quickly changed that). I was merely commenting on the validity of the TOPIC. Now, I'm sorry if you think that my comments were aimed against you, as they were not. I know how people can form an attachment to their threads, but please understand, it was not about YOU. Now, with that said, if you want to continue this, please do so by IM, and that way this topic can get back to your original intentions. And good luck with it! (sincerely)

I think that was his point Besides, the whole idea of rating someones post, ESPECIALLY as "noob" seems rather offensive to me (just be glad the system wasn't around when you joined the Great Historical Lego War...) If there were to be another "war", I'd wait for phes to start it back up again, at least with a different set of rules. No personal offense though of course  ok, the fact that im a noob on this forum, doesnt mean i wouldnt be good at marking other peoples posts. I am a member of 8 different forums! and have reached some of the highest levels, So I think I definately have more experience with these things than scarcastic you! If you dont want a 'noob' to mark your posts then ill make 200 posts over the course of the weekend, ok! I Also garuntee if this turns into a debate i will totaly own you. Hey and while your here, lets see your great idea to stop god-modding on such threads! Sneffy said, based on the responses you've had people arent interested in this kind of topic, he didnt say based on the lack of replies! NOW STOP SPAMMING AND GO TALK ABOUT SOMETHING YOU LIKE! AND THIS ISNT CALLED THE COMPLAIN ABOUT LEGO WARS TOPIC!!! Well I think someone needs some anger management :glare: I was just trying to explain more about his opinion, and give my own. I thought giving opinions was allowed. Also, being a "noob" has nothing to do with number of posts, but rather with the quality of the posts, and the general attitude of the person posting. There have been many people here with low post counts who I respect greatly. I'm not really sure what you're talking about with the godmodding comment, I merely pointed out that it would be the death of the GHLW, and I happened to be right, no big deal. And trust me, you don't want to get into a debate with me Sometimes, it's better to leave the hysterical people to their own decices, eh? With that said, I'll take my leave, though I wish you and this topic great success

Well, the design with the stairs and the bed and the fireplace is exactly the same, but I guess there's not THAT much that you could do with an opening house that size
