  1. I for one am quite happy with how this wave is sounding. Many of the more attractive sets sound like they will be small and affordable, which is great. I've wanted an A-Wing for years, so I'm thrilled we're finally getting an update! Maybe I'll have to pick up the X-wing and Y-wing now just to have a full Rebel fleet.
  2. This list pleases me. The only set I'm interested in is the new A-wing, which I've been wanting for AGES (I didn't want to shell out for the entire playset with the last version). Besides the Headhunter, it looks like I'll be able to concentrate on other themes in 2013.
  3. Looks cool, I like the Monster Fighters one. Depending on the price I might pick it up.
  4. Yeah. Whatever "Chima" is, there's no way that's the basis of the next big LEGO action theme. Chima is most likely entirely made up.
  5. I'm fairly confident that "Legends of Chima" is supposed to be "Legends of China". That being the case, HECK YES!!!! As for Speedorz... it sounds fairly uninteresting unless the sets prove otherwise. LEGO's had some nice racing themes before, but it's going to be difficult to tell how this one fairs without pictures of the sets (as there isn't really much of a storyline to judge).

  7. ^ dude is grumpy and off topic. Absolutely FANTASTIC work here Lego-Freak! The accuracy to the film is very obvious, even without a side-by-side comparison. I can tell a lot of work went into this. It looks FANTASTIC next to the Batpod as well! I only wish LEGO would come up with something this neat.
  8. That was one of the few sets that they had at the Target I went to, and I had the same dilemma. The Crazy Scientist is a fantastically attractive set. I'm sure I'll wind up picking up eventually, once I can afford it.
  9. I guess I'm alone in thinking the Ghost Train is among the best sets in the theme.
  10. I finally caved and picked up the Werewolf set today! I absolutely love the little car, so much class. I'm definitely hooked on this line.
  11. Nice! It definitely suits M-tron, especially considering most of the theme revolves around moving large crates... I guess they do need a place to put them, after all. Really great build.
  12. If you want original music, look no further!
  13. Or alternatively, do what I'm doing; save all your money until October and get both!
  14. I KNEW waiting until September to buy Monster Fighters would pay off. Seriously, one of the best polybag sets I've seen.
  15. Ahh, the one Ice Planet set that always eluded me Shame too, this set is great! Ice Planet 2002 was probably my favorite 90's Space theme. I really hope that rumored reboot proves true! Thanks for the excellent review!
  16. You're actually not alone in liking Spyrius - I myself did a review of the entire theme about a year ago, and it was frontpaged. People still remember the 90s! That said, this model is BEAUTIFUL! I really enjoy the simplicity of the design, it definitely makes for a convincing battle cruiser. I'm loving it. I'd love to see an Ice Planet research vessel from you to compliment this dreadnaught... Also, happy 22nd!
  17. Man, I hope I can keep my paws off these gorgeous sets until I've got the cash to buy them up properly! The Zombies looks fantastic!
  18. Are we a little excited? Series 8 was literally just revealed!
  19. Continuing my series of white-colored space ships is the R-2 "Arrowhead" Attack Fighter! Fast, maneuverable, and deadly in large numbers, the Arrowhead makes up the bulk of the Federation fleet. Without heavy armor plating, these small stunt fighters depend on their maneuverability for survival. The R-12 owes its agility to the state-of-the-art propulsion system mounted beside the cockpit. The twin-pod design of the star fighter lends itself to easy modification. As a result, the design has become a popular chassis for collectors. The Arrowhead's cockpit is equipped with a gyro-stabilization system that allows it to stay level while the ship maneuvers. This provides the R-12 with unmatched maneuverability and makes it a very formidable opponent, despite being lightly armed and armored. The Arrowhead is also used as a patrol craft for local law enforcement. The fighter's speed makes it ideal for chasing down criminals. Full gallery Comments and criticism appreciated.
  20. I guess Blacktron wins I might be able to contribute a Spyrius model, but I don't have many of the appropriate colors. We'll see!
  21. We'll have to disagree there, sir - as a massive Space fan, a spiritual Ice Planet 2002 reboot would be a dream come true. But to each his own!
  22. I think there could be a chance of these getting released, but just to keep myself from being disappointed, I'm gonna assume that these are abandoned prototypes for now. I would be legitimately surprised if Alien Conquest makes a comeback.
  23. I just have a lot of white parts. I'm just used to sticking to one or two colors with my designs, so that's what wound up happening. Thank you!
  24. What.
  25. It would be pretty cool of Alien Conquest got an post-mortem release. The theme has a ton of potential and any LEGO Space is a good thing. Still... the rumored Ice Planet reboot has me far more excited.
