  1. That one's ever better, I think the key to this ones sucess is the reflection in the water, which is very well done and looks great.
  2. That's really good, considering it wasn't that long ago the trailer came out. The little details like the skidmarks really make it better than alot of other films I've seen. Clearly there's a case for making the films out of Lego from now on.
  3. That's amazing, I never realised that mindstorms was capable of such an amazing feet, though the program backing that up must also very impressive and complex.
  4. Thank for the pics Kanal-K1 It look great, it's nice to see something that looks so good in green. I still havn't brought Cafe Corner yet, is Lego trying to send me to the poor house with all these quality sets!
  5. As said before wow that's alot of new sets, have they actually been designed yet or is this the designer brief thats been set out?
  6. Yes it was the boulder I was talking about, I should have jst said that! That's quite far is it the same range as the offical catapult or longer, I don;t have the space to try my own ballistics tests at the moment.
  7. I like your fighters they look good, however the Avro Lancaster needs a few alterations in my opinion, the wings look to short to me they need to be longer (Avro Lancaster wings are 3/4 the length of the plan I think have some specs somewhere but can't find them under everything on my desk) also there needs to be a narrowing towards the tail section. Otherwise it looks good those few mods should make it look great.
  8. It depends how they make their molds I surpose, if the scan it or remake the part from life in a CADA program and then just have the mold cut from the CAD problem it wouldn't take long at all. I doubt if Lego is ever going to be able to protect itself against thing's like this. With the Open-source Replicator project becoming popular it'll be even easier for people to copy parts (though at a lower quality) though it might allow us to make some parts we've always wanted so there are pros and cons to it.
  9. Happy Birthday and I hope you get some high quality Lego cake from someone.
  10. I like the skeleton catapult it
  11. A ship of the line is one that would stand in the line of battle, (during much of the age of sail the fleets would form two opposing line and sail together and beat the hell out of each other (this wasn
  12. Any chance of getting a Peeler (policeman) as who else will Holmes be able to impress if there aren't the fine members of the Met about.
  13. :-D that was great, loved the joke told 1 liscensing deals found 4 bit.
  14. It's clearly a huge order of Golden syrup someone's planning on making a flapjack bigger the a hundren lego men!
  15. I really like it. The decretive arch sections made by the inverted arch are a very nice touch and make it less of a purely functional bridge. It reminds me of a bridge but I just can
  16. Bluewater isn't that near to me sadly but as I can take a bus from London that gets there after a few year (well it seems like that when your waiting to get there it's not to bad. It's the flash the skull is still on the armour I'm afraid The legs will touch the wheel I was just being lazy in adding the trolls to the wheel at the end, you should be able to get them right on top of it.
  17. I think the whole idea of making a theme based on actually history is far to dangerous for Lego to try. The best you can get is a romanticised version of a few time periods, which don
  18. Very impressive, have you had them from the original release or are they a more recent acquisition? I have to say the stickers are in very good condition.
