  1. And the moral of the tale is make sure you have lots of crackers and oatmeal. I just can
  2. I#m starting to worry there won't be enough to meet the demand of all of us. But that is clearly good for the chance of civilian impluse
  3. Sorry to be a pedant, for which I clearly deserve punishment. But I
  4. Sorry Yoda ,I don
  5. Well we always complain we need more women, though maybe not the best way to get good publicity for this family company.
  6. I think there is a possability we might get impulse civilains, and agree with you it would be a good idea. But I doubt we'd get larger sets until something like impulse civilains was proved maybe 2010?
  7. I love the rickety look of the rail tracks, looks like they could fall down at any moment. If the dwarf from the second level was also running it would look a bit like an old episode of Scooby-Doo. The brick build ladder next to the jetty is a very nice touch. The waterfall and rock formations are very well done. Ok I can
  8. Not sure it
  9. While I do like Yobrick, it has to be Motley for me
  10. Asuka thanks for that link it was very informative I feel much better informed now. Do we get a party in 2012 for the patent being granted?
  11. Brickster thanks for those pictures, it looks a good theme maybe one day Lego will return to Egypt, when there are higher res pictures can you post them to? Deinonychus I'd like a hobo set too, but more for the Pickelhaube than the hobo.
  12. Thanks both for clearing that up, does anyone know when the first brick came off the production line? Also someone on the BBC news said the brick was invented by someone else who sold it to Lego is that true?
  13. Happy Birthday Lego Brick. Forgive my ignorance but is today, the day the first brick came of the production line, it was invented, or the patent filed? Regardless it's strange to look back and see how far a simple brick has come in 50 years.
  14. TinyPiesRUs thanks for the little model of Augustus, it's really good and brough a smile to my face.
  15. Thanks for those Norrington they look great. I'll post a fig as soon as I can get my hands on some more decal paper. Now even Victorian Lego times can have 1 policman for ever two citizens.
  16. Thank's for the photo review its nice and detailed. Can I ask what's special about this edition of the set may I ask?
  17. Thanks for the heads up I think I'll be bidding later on, are you planning on listing anything else?
  18. Congrats everyone who got a mention! The standard of the entries are amazingly high, as you can see by the high quality of the honourable mention entries. It must have been really hard to decide between them all. And someone
  19. Thanks for that I'd have missed it otherwise, it's been a busy week for Lego in the news it was on BBC Breakfast on Friday aswell.
  20. No "TimeCruisers" is clearly an anti0drug advert, Hey kids look what the world will look like if you take drugs! That certainly kept me away from drugs I can tell you. But everything else is clearly a major problem and must be the root cause for all the problems Britain faces today, why did no one ban it!
  21. I don't know about newer sets but I've got a set from about 7-8 years ago and they helmets were actually attached to the head so you couldn't remove them. Hope that helps
