I have to agree with everyone else that the sub is wonderful, and looks great. The only minor alteration I'd suggest is that the taper to the stern fins should be a little gentler. Otherwise it looks spot on to me.

It'll be intresting to see if it sells.

After seeing the new pictures, I'm much more intrested in buying a few of these. I'm really liking to look of 7673, though it does look at tad BSG Cylon like.

That looks really good, I do love a good bit of steampunk. The engine block looks great as already mentioned it has a very good level of detail, one question though is there any lift provided from the underside?

If it's anything like the sale Argos had before Christmas then I'd suggest haveing a quick look online each morning, last time you'd have a look and the sale was gone a few dyas later and then discount was even bigger. So I'd be keep wathcing the discount might get bigger.

I've always found The Little Arms Shop to be excellent, delt with them a few time. Once a had a minor problem but it was delt with very quickly and with minimum of fuss. I wouldn't worry about them taking your money and running one bit.

It would make sense if the skeleton chariot was a slightly larger impulse set, maybe there is a new somewhat larger impulse set, when you have greater urges to buy Lego. The knight looks to me about the same size as the other impulse set so it would make sense if it was.
