  1. I think this will generate some more interest if you have the names posted next to each set number.
  2. Thanks for the vocab lesson! Sure I can do that! I'll take a couple more photos later in the day. The pitch forks also make their return in one of the Alien Conquest sets.
  3. Nice haul ACPin! I got 3 land speeders for this occasion.
  4. Set#: 7189-1 Name: Mill Village Raid Theme: Kingdoms Release: June 2011 Pieces: 663 Minifigs: 6 MSRP: 69.99 USD Front View Back View Contents in the box: 7 bags + 2 green plates 2 Instruction booklets, both of which were bent. The mini figures and most importantly, the new animals. Rotate the windmill through the crank located in the back. The fruit basket can be brought down by spinning the "rooster compass" (what's the official name for that?)located on the top of the mill. The mill opens up. Very reminiscent of the Majisto's Magic Workshop set. Back of both buildings. Verdict Playability: 9/10 ((3 "bad guys" + 3 villages + animals) on farm = awesome ) Design: 9/10 (Nice set, complements MMV very well) Price: 6/10 (Fair pricing .) Overall: 8/10 (A set not just for Castle fans) And with that I'll leave you with my version of a raid. Acknowledgments: I would like to thank my friend Nannan Zhang, who generously donated his time and camera editing skills into making this review. Thanks for reading!
  5. Could be because of the high volume of traffic and perhaps sales.
  6. All in good fun right? Keep it up guys! By the way Oky, that song is so contagious!
  7. Thanks for putting this together. It was a very fun and informative read.
  8. Thanks for the info and I agree, this is not a spectacular sale. I had a feeling they would relist Obi Wan's Starfighter for sale. I don't think it sold well when it was 25% off. With that being said, I am still going to buy something.
  9. Thanks for the review! I didn't realize until now that there are 4 minifigs instead of 3! All the more incentive to grab this set. Also, does one of the dragon knight have a chipped tooth?
  10. I'd like to give this a try. 1. I will not be traveling during that time frame. 2. I have played the card version with friends. 3. My favorite animals are seal and sea lions, and my favorite Fabuland figure is the raccoon.
  11. Good stuff tk79. I think Amazon is probably one of the only places where you can get LEGO exclusives at a discount. With free shipping and no sales tax this probably the best time to get something like this. Also the Pirates Imperial Flagship is discounted to $170.74.
  12. Yep, it's supposed to be a summer set. TRU USA has been releasing sets ahead of time to boost their sales.
  13. Yep, lots of wind and rain here. Brace yourselves my fellow southerners. May your LEGOs be safe but most importantly, your friends and families. (my first off LEGO post)
  14. This is very nice, a perfect harmony between the vegetation and the white temple. And like Ro87n has said, I wish I had as many elves as you too.
  15. Wow that's very cool, it's certainly another good reason to get that set. Thanks for the taking the additional photo.
  16. What an impressive army! You even have the fleet to back the clones up with.
  17. Great stuff Inkog! Kudos on being one of the first to get these awesome new sets. Are they any printings on the mounted, armored dragon knight's torso (from the prison set)?
  18. Target stores have a few $10 sets (non-SW) on sale for $8. Most notably, the prison carriage (7949) from Kingdoms.
  19. Hey everyone, prison carriage (7949) is on sale at Target for $8. Time to stock up if you haven't before the new wave hits! Wow what a find! This is something I would only dream about, shuffling behind boxes to find old sets from my childhood. Was this a second hand store? I can't fathom how they were still on the shelf, let alone 6 of them!
  20. This is some amazing stuff Angeli! I really enjoy looking at your rendition of the sinister Drows' undercities. From the comparison photo, I really got a sense of how big this creation is - it's huge! I think you really captured the size and elegance of the dark elf capital.
  21. Do you mean online or are they now in stores?
  22. TRU: Today only in store or online BOGO 1/2 off on SW and Harry Potter. Use code 944864 for online.
  23. Yesterday at TRU, I saw an entire box filled with black Ninjago trading card packs. I was told that each pack contains only one card and it was selling for around $3 USD. This makes the minifig+card pack look like a good deal.
  24. Thanks for the review. This looks like a very fun set with some interesting pieces most notably, the heart and Hadras's shell head. Also, the water wheel has a striking resemblance to something the Trolls once engineered.
  25. Thanks for the review and I totally agree with your final assessment. Besides the price tag, I am a little disappointed that a piece of cardboard was used to create the water fall.
