I voted for all the years I am just such a SW geek that I can´t decide which is the best (But 2008 for sure isn´t ). I think the nearest to the best year is 2007. That year the TLC release such great sets and the best thing about that year is that it has a very good variety in it (From PT to EU without exceptions). Also they release the best designed set to date in my opinion in the whole line, yeah it is the good MTT . They release the UCS MF and some other awesome sets like the ILC or the RC . I think this poll is excellent cause well... I think all the poll topics are awesome .

Well I vote the SW theme like the best cause maybe if I don´t think is the best year of the line (I think 2007 was pretty much a superb year but this one as a downfall , but still great ) is a year of new vehicles (Something many year failed on ) and the designs are superbs. Maybe the greatest downside of the line this year is the price cause all the line is very, VERY overpriced. The alike of the sets with each others is another con in my opinion but after all is just my opinion . I vote for IJ as the best new theme cause well.. I just hope since year that the TLC launch an IJ theme and they launched a very good one. I think this year was perfect in set terms but the next one doesn´t looks that promising too me or at least for the beginning of the year .

Thanks for the pics rcpeck and Erdbeereis1 . The Hyena looks better than I think and I like it since the first pic was shown, so a MUST buy for me . The AAT looks incredible in the outside but I need to admit that the speeder really looks like pure crap and the worst part is that the cockpit looks so simple , well whatever I will buy it . The new Solar Sailer pic just make me want it more but I need to admit that don´t have a sail in the sailer is pretty dissapointing but the minifigs look pure awesome, so I wiil get it .

Well I just finished of seeing "Bombad Jedi" and I need to said that I like it!!! . I think this episode is actually pretty good. It shows how Jar Jar is more courage than we saw it at TPM and the whole Lando´s style story is pretty good. Padme like always is pretty "active" and she knows some good defensive techniques. Also the new caterpillar type creature is a good addition to the always growing SW creature universe . I need to admit I C-3PO in this episode even if he is kinda annoying in others (cough-Destroying Malevolence-cough) . I overall like it and I don´t see it like the worst in the series, that place is for sure for "Destroying Malevolence" .

The AAT looks like a great set but the speeder featured somewhat makes it like a little con but the whole set is awesome overall so it looks promising. If you want better the minifigs of the RAS than maybe that a great option too. To be honest both look like good sets so choose any of them . The MGS is a very cool ship but I am not very impressed with the minifigs (I own the set ) so I suggest you to better wait for the Solar Sailer, after all it will come with magnaguards and a great Dooku minifig too .

Actually I create this with the intention of put just 2008 sets in there, so maybe the Pirate Fort will wait til Christmas 2009 , the AT-TE would be a good addition thought.

Hi, I was looking around the ign.com website and found some lists dedicated to tell which are some of the best gifts in some categories in this holiday season, so I think why don´t have one of this in Eurobricks? And after some thinking I decide to create one. So here is a list of some perfect lego gifts in this holiday season: 1- 10188 Death Star: The LSW line of this year counted with some great sets and minifigs but the true gem of the year is a S@H exclusive set. This set features everything any AFOL would want: minifigs (24 in fact ), pieces, playability, detail, etc. The only "Con" of it is the price but considering how awesome is this set there is nothing to lose . 2- 10185 Green Grocer: The exclusive sets of this year were many but just a few of them reach the quality of this one. It has a lot of detail and almost every piece is highly useful in MOCs. Also the design is superb, in fact one of the best ones used by the TLC. This makes a perfect gift to any AFOL. 3- 8635 Mission 6: Mobile Command Center: This is the best Agents set of the line for many but anyone can say it is not one of the greatest. The minifgs are superb and the whole set is one of the best parts packs in the whole TLC history. Better get one before they are gone in this holiday season. 4- 7679 Republic Fighter Tank: One of the best priced SW sets this year this one is hard to pass. The design is excellent and the minifigs great. It is an awesome set, maybe the best system SW set of this year (I just finished of building mine just a few hours ago ) and one I totally recommend. 5- 852293 LEGO Castle Giant Chess Set: This set is great for Castle fans and a perfect pack with loads of everything. The set is also a good display piece in any studio or office. Also this will help anyone to wait for the great 10193 Medieval Market set of next year . 6- 10189 Taj Mahal: Another masterful display piece, this set is a good one for those who like a good challenge while building. Anyone who wants some good 36 hours of building should buy this thing . 7- 7620 Indiana Jones Motorcycle Chase: This is a small set for sure and because that it is cheap too. This includes the best IJ minifigs in the theme and a cool motorcycle (Good for MOCs ) and at that price it makes a perfect last hour gift. 8- 7644 MX-81 Hypersonic Operations Aircraft: Anyone would imagine such and improvement in the Mars Mission last year line-up but it actually happened. This set is the nearest craft in the whole theme to that ones in the old Space theme and how better to celebrate the almost sure return of the Space line the next year then buying this set in the holidays? It comes with some useful parts and some great details so this is going to be a good gift for sure. 9- 7676 Republic Attack Gunship: Yeah, I know. If I don´t add this one to the list it could´t be complete. This set is another good one in this year´s line up. The design is really improved from the last one and it comes with awesome exclusives minifgs, including the jedi master Plo Koon . It is maybe a bit steep in it´s price but it is worthy for sure. 10- 10184 Town Plan: To close the list, I end with this awesome set, a true gem of the City line-up. Even if it appears in stores early this year it is still an awesome set. It is a re-design of the old set with the same name that appeared 50 years before this! It also comes with letter from Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen the owner of the TLC. It has awesome detail and is a perfect city center. So what do you think? Where is the awesome 4483 AT-AT, the old one ?

I personally like it . I don´t see it being really that small if you count that the "parachute" wings are open. I think the TLC could include some kind of sail but it would be pretty <insert that tiresome argument> (Personally I don´t mind if it is <insert that tiresome argument> if they gave us one ). Also maybe the speeder could be the blue one from Episode 2 . If it comes with a Dooku minifig then I will be happy, after all I bought the V-19 which just came with one minifig .

Well after all the AAT comes with an speeder and I just get how dissapointed I am . That speeder looks like crap, just looking at the design looks extremly generic . Also the AAT doesn´t features anything really special in function terms .

I vote for the Indy minifig all the way . Sure the other minifigs are awesome but after all this is Indy´s line . And also is the only IJ minifig I own cause of my Brickmaster suscription.

Wow, amazing MOC erao . The mini boxes are superb and the look of the store is awesome. The ultra-mini UCS SD is an amazing detail, also the pick-a-brick wall section is awesome too. I wonder Why the TLC haven´t produce a set like this as a S@H exclusive, but your´s fills the gap .

My favorite minifig of 2008 is a round between the new Clone Trooper or the Starkiller minifigs. The first one is awesome and in my opinion the best trooper yet done by the TLC. The commanders are good for sure but the generic look of a stand alone clone trooper is awesome. The Starkiller minifig in another hand is aweosme in all the ways. Cool looking, is from TFU, aweosme detail and it comes with an amazing set (At least in my opinion ). So the winner is... (Drums please ) Starkiller .

Well, looking at the next episode preview and the whole "pirates" theme of the expected episode, I think I now prefer a "pirate" fort than the pirate tank rumored .

Actually I am more of a collector so I have a dedicated room for my collection. I own nearly 80 sets so my collection isn´t as big as many others but I still love it . I wanted to upload pictures of it so I can share it here but I lost the USB cable of my camera .

Well almost every january wave SW set has appeared on eBay at he moment (The only still missing is the AAT ). Here are the links: Battlepacks Hyena Bomber Vader TIE RAS I don´t think anyone is going to bid on them considering they are totally overpriced and that we are just need few "days" to a possible release.

Thanks for the news alec634 . All the description seems to match perfectly except for the ones of 8016 and 8018. They say that both of them have a droid less. The 8016 is supposed to have three hunter droids and the 8018 is supposed to have three super battle droids .

It is aweosme that the TLC listen us the AFOLs. I voted for the decrease of the prices of the sets cause this year SW line is highly overpriced like many other themes. I also put Eurobricks like my favorite fan website and added Brickhorizon to the list .

Thanks for the review daoudbazaar . This set looks fine but for some reason I feel that both cars lacks of design , not really compare this ones with the ones in the Race for the Stolen Treasure which are great. The minifigs in the other hand are awesome , with some nice torsos and pieces, I especially like the gangsters minifigs which are great .

I voted the Ahsoka haedpiece , it is just so cool to own more unique pieces that creates whole new species in the LSW line .

Yeah I totally agree with you Oky Wan Kenobi . When I saw the preview in SW.com I said "It is going to be awesome, it must be...!" cause well, everything looks amazing in it. The only bad thing is that we know the padawan is going to die , or I understand that . It looks very promising and this show just gets better and better each time .

Yesterday, I saw "Duel of the Droid" and it was just AWESOME!!!! When I start to saw it I don´t have my hopes very up but how I am wrong . First of all I need to congrats the writers for the good script and how they manage to put the action in an awesome way. The first part was great with the landing at the CIS station and how they manage to get inside. Then, one scene that surprise me A LOT and it was the scene where Grevious killed the trandoshan trader , this is the first truly "death" I have seen in the show (With this I mean the first explicit one not like a dead clone killed by a blaster ). After that the duel of Grevious and Ahsoka was a lot better than I expected. It was actually a "true" duel and is my favorite so one of the series including the movie. The hangar battle was really star-warsy and the action was awesome. And finally to end the duel of the two astromech droid units, pretty creative and inovative. In conclusion the whole episode was TOTALLY AWESOME in every way and my truly favorite episode to the moment .

1- 38. svelte_corps - Brickbeard the Felonious Fishmonger 2-22. LegoJoe 3- 8. LuxorV - Don't make them ask twice Well I just can said AWESOME vig svelte_corps . The vignette is aweosme in all the ways. It shows the true cruelty of the pirates and the use of the space is pretty ingenious. Also the technic to build the stairs with battle droid arms is amazing. The submarine part is really cool with that blue trans-lucent bricks. Congrats svelte_corps . The other two entries are awesome too, I like the comedy of you vig LegoJoe and the birghtness of your vig LuxorV, after all the entries are awesome .
