    My Series 5 order is also still "Backordered", however I did receive the following email from Lego on Oct 13: "Get ready to build! Your BrickLink® Designer Program (BDP) order is about to head your way. We’ll soon charge the card you used when placing your order, so make sure it’s still valid and that you have sufficient funds available in your account. If your shipping address or any other details have changed since you placed your order, and you need to make an update, you can use our self-service account page to do so. You can also reach out to us and our friendly LEGO® experts will be able to help you. Once we’ve packed and shipped your order, we’ll send another email to let you know it’s on the way."

    Yes, I also got an extra one of these. I was wondering as well. I usually go to bricklink inventory after building large sets because they list all the extra pieces. I use this list to compare what I have left to make sure I didn't miss placing a piece. This particular extra piece was not listed on bricklink as an extra piece.

    Don't we usually know what holiday GWP's will be by now? Do you think there won't be any this year? I was saving my Santa's visit purchase for the GWP, but may just pull the trigger on 2x VIP points.

    forgot to put in my order last night a midnight. Woke up this morning and it's back ordered for 30 days. At least it's not sold out. The Cat Brickhead is sold out.

    Lego set 40355: Year of the Rat / Mouse will be next years set similar to 40186: Year of the Pig from this year. It may be a gift with purchase. Some pics are available online.

    Nice find - Lego set 40337 for the Mini Gingerbread House and 40338 for the Christmas Tree - Black Friday Giveaway. There is already an unboxing and build video on Youtube for the mini Gingerbread house.

    Has anyone actually use a voucher in store and can share their experience? I would like to be able to redeem the voucher while in line to pay for my item but the FAQ says "VIP coupon codes will generally be issued automatically within 24 hours following your rewards redemption". You can't do this if the coupons are not instantaneous. You also can't redeem the vouchers a day ahead just in case they don't have the item in stock when you go. I recall showing up on day 1 of the release of a new CMF series just to find out that the Lego store didn't get their shipment. Does anyone have experience on the delay to receive your redemption vouchers?

    I don't think the Dragon Boat will be widely available in 3-6 months either as it's released on May 1. Only Regional exclusives released AFTER May 1 will become widely available.

    Brickset has an image of 31095-1: {Carousel}. Is this considered part of the fairground theme? The Brick Fan website also shows an alternate build of this which looks to be one of the dropzone rides. This makes me think it may be a 3 in 1 like the pirate coaster and may not be part of the official fairground theme.     try to pull the axel pin out a bit so it's not all the way into the sound brick and see if that helps.

    Maybe 40292 and/or 40293 will be givaways for Brick Friday (Thanksgiving) with minimum purchase. There was 5004420: Toy Soldier in 2016, 5003083: Christmas Ornament in 2015 and 5002813: Christmas Train Ornament in 2014. I don't recall seeing one last year.     I've only seen 40293: Christmas Carousel and 3 baubles (ornaments), which don't interest me. I'm hoping 40293 will be a freebie when I pick up the Christmas Fire Station. Also hoping for a couple smaller winter sets.     Anyone else have problems with the clutch strength of Crookshanks (Hermione's Cat). Mine is horrible and slowly pops off when connecting to studs. Not a problem at all from Mrs Scratchen-Post's cat from The Lego Movie minifigs.

    After every large build, I go to Bricklink and check out the parts inventory. At the bottom there is a section with a list of extra items. I compare each one to make sure it matches and I didn't accidentally miss one: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=10261-1#T=I

    Wonderful designs. They remind me of the playmat set recently released by Lego: https://brickset.com/sets/853656-1/Play-mat If you have problems with them sliding, perhaps you could use a similar mechanism of locking the tiles together via punching cut outs and using bricks to lock them in place.

    On my PS3, I have downloaded all the addon packs and updated to the latest version 1.22 and my install is only 18GB total.

    PS3 and PS4 both got updates to fix critical bugs. It fixed the Mystery Dimension bug for me on the PS3, so I can now enter it! hurray. Also I played a whole brand new level pack without a single crash or need to restart. First time ever. So if you have had glitches and bugs before, try the game again after the latest patch. I believe it's 1.22 on PS3 and 1.23 / 1.24 on PS4 depending on location (NA vs Europe)
