The Penguin replied to aayla-secura's topic in LEGO Licensed
That's my case! )))))) Nice one. ) -
Indeed so. ) Though I don't hesitate a moment before buying the next CW set. Even being obviously overpriced, they are worth such money, for all the fun they give us! Good day, gentlemen! )

I'll put it simple: Batman - I'm a great fan. Star wars - also a big fan. City - can be used in Batman. Indiana - can be used in Batman. And every other theme, that can possibly be used in Batman! ) Good day, gentlemen! )

Bah! It didn't save good ol' Batman. There's also a new cartoon now, 2 games ahead and a new film. But they closed it. Still, it's obvious that TLC won't do the same thing with Lego Star Wars. ) Good day, gentlemen! )

Today I got a "Stolen treasure" set, gentlemen, and to my surprise I got there a new brown german mechanic head.... So that means that they may appear even in "older sets". Odd, indeed.... ) Good day, gentlemen! )

Thank you very much, friend! ) I'm glad that you liked them! ) I'm currently out of Martini and good Internet, but once I buy a new bottle and settle my connection, beware! ) Thank you very much! ) I always value your opinion, gentlemen! ) Yes, I tried my best to make it good-looking! Thanks! ) Thank you very much, Bricks! ) Are you a big Batman fan? ) Thank you very much, friend! ) You know how I always value your opinion. ) I rememder him living in some abandoned farm in some comic story.... "Scarecrow" Year One, perhaps? I absolutely agree. I've already added some brown panels to the back, and indeed, it looks much better! So, thank you! ) I always remember your brilliant MOCs, Batbrick! They are amazing and wonderful! The torso comes from Adventurers'99 (Or 2000?) The one with dinosaurs. It's a torso of a villain Cunnigham (or something like that....) but it has wellow skin, so I had to paint it a bit. ) Sure! ) Thanks a lot! ) I also love this minifigure, it turned out to be much better, than I've expected. ) Thank you! ) Iwas wondering if you'd find this one good. And I'm really pleased that you liked it! ) The legs come from Cedric's Bulls Knights (Castle 2000), right from my Dark Ages! ))))))) Thank you. ) In fact, Penguin with this hair resembles me greatly. ) (Though, my grin is not that wide. ) Thanks again, and please be sure that your high ranking of my MOCs always stimulates me to work harder on them. ) The best? ) I've always thought that it was my Penguin's Armada! ))))) Thanks, ???theriddler???! ) Thanks a lot! ) Good day, gentlemen! )

Thank you for the idea. ) Though I must admit that I don't like TDK joker much.... ) It seems, it's high time for me to open my own BrickLink store with all those Batman sets, parts figures around me, all over the room! ) Thank you very much, teleri! I'm glad that you liked them. ) Well, I sure hope that one day they will come to their senses and bring that-awesome-and-great theme back! ) Soon, I plan to post more MOCs and MODs, so I hope you'll like them as well. ) Good day, gentlemen! )

How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
The Penguin replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Woo-hoo! ) I hope to see all those nice Confederate generals, kicking some clone..... ahem. ) I mean gaining victories over the Republic! ) And I sure hope that they do not introduce a lot of new characters, but make more episodes with old ones. Say, Loathsome, Lok Durd, anyone? ) And perhaps more nice CIS vehicles, like Homing Spider Droids.... ) Thanks or news, Oky! ) Good day, gentlemen! ) -
Thank you for your high rating of my comic. ) Yes, the next part will come pretty soon, what really holds me is the fact that my boss's been giving me loads of work recently. I even can't find the time to make photos. ) But I promiss, the new part will appear soon. ) Thanks for waiting! Good day, gentlemen! )

Gentlemen, I present you my new Batman MOCs and MODs. Hope, you'll like them! ) Gotham farmlands are under attack! What fiendish machine is that!? Oh, no! Can our hero save the day? Who's behind that!? It's the Scarecrow! Call the police! Detective Harvey Bullock. ) (With Batbrick's donut.) GCPD (Montoya, gordon, Bullock): Mayor Hamilton Hill: Lucius Fox and Batman's mechanic (I can never rememder his name!) Gotham community workers: Ras Al' Ghul (Good evening, Detective!): Gotham homeless: Gothamite Martin ("Hi, Penguin, sweetheart!"): Ta-daam! Me in my evening outfit with a glass of Martini before playing checkers with ADHO15! (Based on TNBA version.) Thanks, ladies and gentlemen! ) Any comments?

Thank you! )

Well, nice idea, I must say. A cannon, 2 BDs and Tactical Droid would make a nice set. ) It could even be the same size as CAT, which is great! ) I guess the best way to create a good looking TD is giving him a minifig torso and a hew head. I'd really love to see one! ) - Their chances against us are 742 to 1. - I hope you are right.... - I'm a droid, I'm always right. Or something like that. Good day, gentlemen! )

In my opinion a nice "perfect" MOC would be a giant minifig-scale Gotham. Say, 20+ buildings, with giant statures a couple of streets.... ) I've seen some attempts on BS, but they are mostly all quite weak.... ) Good day, gentlemen! )
-
Thanks a lot, friend! ) Indeed, I like it more that way. looks mote like my favourite TNBA style Joker. ) Thanks again. ) Well, this Riddler is a kind of a mix of classic-looking one and THE BATMAN one. ) Which I really liked. ) That's Hermione's hairpiece from old HP theme. Brutally cut by the Creeper! ) Well, i really love that mini, though I can't say that I know the character very well.... I remember only his TNBA appearence, frankly. ) Thanks! ) He also likes this one.... BTW, what's that comic called? I sure remember the picture, where he's standing near a car in that suit, but can't remember the comic itself. ) Thanks, I presume, you'll see the next part pretty soon. ) I already have some ideas. ) Thank you for your comments, gentlemen! )

What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
The Penguin replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I can now imagine lots of senators throwing pods at each other! ) Now, as for battle packs, I'd like to see, say trandosians vs wookies set (much like the Hoth 2009 one). Say, 2 trandosians, 2 wookies and some scenery. A tree for example. ) Good day, gentlemen! ) -
Very well done! ) You've captured most Russian's turning points in history. ) Though I'd have added Kathreene The Great too. ) i'm looking forward to seeing your next MOCs. ) Good day, gentlemen! )

How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
The Penguin replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
That's really a topic for discussion. I suppose it was obvious that the Venator was going to crash at them. If he ever tried the ship wouldn't have hit exactly the core.... ) Though, I guess it's pointless debate, and not very important at all. ) Though, it's good that Tuuk managed to escape.... ) Well, yes. ) I agree here. As I've said before it was quite strange, but at the same time something that could have happened in SW Universe. ) And I really like that move. ) Hard to say.... Hm.... In fact that's a pretty interesting topic to study. ) I guess I may agree with you that CIS ships are lighter, but they sure have a better range, as it has been shown in CW series.... ) Indeed so. ) By realism I don't usually mean going into such details as sounds. That's ok, nothing to discuss here. I mean balabce, if you know what i mean. Say, do you remember CW cartoon? That was awfull in it's exagurration and things like that. ) When I see such things here, I'm really getting upset. I mean, when 40 BD cannot hit 3 clones.... I just don't want the cartoon to go goofy and become very childish. ) Thanks for interesting discussion, Mr. Mandalorian. Good day, gentlemen! ) -

How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
The Penguin replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Those questions could be asked via PM. I've written about closing brackets in this topic a few pages before. Let's return to CW discussion, shall we? Well, I must say, I can not agree here. ) A cartoon based on Star Wars should be realistic, it should be a masterpiece, a work of art. Simply because it's SW. I love the current series, and because I love it, I want to make it even better. Good day, gentlemen! ) -
How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
The Penguin replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I see. Though I still doubt that it could hold such fire, but itnicely done and quite spectacular. ) If that was addressed to me, then could you be a bit more specific, because I don't really get it. How does it refer to my post? ) That's my usual manner. I hope you do not mind, do you, gentlemen? ) Good day, gentlemen! ) -
How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
The Penguin replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well, gentlemen, I've just watched Storm Over Ryloth and.... well, not to rain on your parade, gentlemen, I will say that it's a nice episode. Nice but not brilliant. ) Indeed there are many references to other films, books, etc.... And that is good. There are some nice battle-scenes. That's good too. But most dialogues are quite weird, Ahsoka's emotions is quite a cliche-like episode. The new general is good, but I really didn't see any ingenious moves from him.... Ships, jumping out of hyperspace don't really work here.... And when Anakin decided to send a ship at his Lucrehulk, he made quite an odd decision to open fire, instead of reversing, or just turning the ship. In that case the cruiser would hit the side of Lucrehulk, and the Core ship could have remained undamaged. Plus to that, turning Republican cruiser that way was quite a strange thing.... I mean, why did it's "belly" manage to hold full fire from 3(!) Confederate frigates? I didn't find his red/blue switching head thing very amusing.... What does that suppose to mean? The most obvious thing is that it reflects somehow his motions. And that seems to de so, indeed. But that's just.... As for his hands.... If you look carefully, all neimoidians (at least in CW) have their bones on the hands that way. Nute Gunray, Lok Durd.... Overall the episode was good. But I'm much more looking forward to seeing ground battles. ) Good day, gentlemen! )
