  1. 1) Thank you for your kind comments, Ashoka! Much appreciated. 2) Well the shown MOCs are great as they are and it's a pleasure that you compare mine with those. ) 3) A comic story see you will! ) 4) Considerably large. I've been collecting LEGO since 1989, so..... ) Thanks a lot, Zorro! ) Well, I guess, you are right: it's prretty hadr to work in such a company. ) But I think that it's not the villains you should be afraid here mostly.... Thank you. ) Really, how come? ) Thanks a lot! ) Thank you very much! ) I'm glad that I've managed to give the feeling of insanity in my Arkham MOC. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  2. A lovely selection of minifigs, tin7! ) For me an absolute win is Poison Ivy. ) Great torso and hairpiece idea. Though, I'd make it brighter. As for The Penguin, it's an interesting idea, but frankly I think a more classical look would be better. I mean I strongly doubt that Nolan would let his character wear a purple top hat and a cape. ) Still, nicely done. ) Oh, and Catwoman is absolutely awesome, but still I've's the best in the row. Thanks a lot for giving us the pleasure of seeing your minifigures, and please keep the good work up! ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  3. Ladies and gentlemen! ) I present you my latest MOCs and MODs. Hope you'll like them! ) Alfred's car when he does shopping for Bruce and Tim. ) Oh, no! Some goon is after him! Who might be behind that? It's the infamous Joker, of course! With a hat, and a new hairstyle! ) (The first one to paint the hat purple was Batbrick, so the credit for that goes to him! Every woman needs a handbag, and Catwoman is no exeption! I HATE CLOWNS! *WHACK* Poison Ivy's plant goon. ) Ta-dam! (Oh, I really love him! ) Totally new Mr. Freeze, ispired by TNBA and art of 20-s. ) "You are going to a dark, cold place, Batman!"
  4. Thank you very much for the review! ) I've been waiting for someone to do it. ) Am I the only one here, who thinks that the set is awesome? ) 1) Well, it does have some desighn flaws, but what LEGO set doesn't? Plus, I think it looks great from the front. 2) Flabby treads are not of a problem to me, since a couple of them can be removed in order it to have a healthier look. ) Plus to that, I think that that one will be rolling the Tank around at high speeds, since 'in reality' we've never seen it moving very fast. If I recall it corrrectly, it's maximum speed is somewhat about 60 km/hour..... 3) A very decent selection of figs. Though the could have added a standard SBD. BTW, I think soon we'll feel shortage og them, since the last time they were added in battle-pack set, which (at least in Russia) is fading from the store shelves. And no CW fan can have enough BD, can he? 4) Why hate the clone launcher? ) I personally (as a CIS fan) find it awesome! I guess, it was no_onion's video where a launched clone smashed right into the tank. ) Pardon, I'm a bit too exited here, I guess. ) 5) Jetpacks are great. You cant underestimate one for any other LEGO theme. ) 6) The color scheme is great. It's not that I don't like the ROTS CA Tank, it's just the previous LEGO version doesn't really work fine for me. Plus, they will definitely look good among my AATs and Homing Spider Droids. ) 7) I don't like speaking about price. We may not find it fair, bt I guess, anyway, great sets are worth the money. ) Just a couple of my ideas, gentlemen! )
  5. Oh, my! ) I've just prepared my MOCs and MODs next part with Joker having the same hir, and you beat me to it! ) Great idea! Though, I guess, dark green would suit the Joker better, but that's a matter of taste. ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  6. A lovely review of a nice set. ) I must admitt, first I found the set pretty useless and boring. But after this review I've somehow changed my mind a bit. I may even get a couple of those. ) Thanks for the review, Jan. ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  7. Thanks, ADHO. ) Then the review will be mostly welcome. ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  8. Gentlemen, pardon if it has already been stated by someone, but has any pf you got the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid set? )
  9. Thank you! ) Well've heard that phrase lots of times. Can there be a better praise, if your MOC inspires other person to create? ) Thank you very much, Bartram! ) Thanks a lot! ) Well, I tried to preserve the confederate color scheme. And it was not that hard with Castle, since it's rich in dark blue, brown and gray. ) Thank you, KimT. ) I sure will. ) Thank you for your kind words, gentlemen! )
  10. Sorry for late reply, gentlemen! ) Thanks a lot! ) *In the voice of the doctor* Oh, you can choose any you wish, dear! ) Ring of bars, pardon? ) Well, I love to customize the figs, and I don't really find anything awful here. ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  11. Great to hear that EB has some Lovecraft fans here. ) Yes, those stories are awesome as well, I think I may try to do something with them, but as you know, Lovecraft doesn't usually give us clear image of the characters, so it'll be much of the author's approach. ) thank you very much! ) Thank you very much! ) Well, I guess so. I have plenty of ideas but still many parallel projects. ) Thanks a lot, friend! ) Yes, one wouldn't want to encounter the Deep Ones. ) Thanks a lot, TheBrickster! ) For some reason I thought you might be a Lovecraft fan, judging by your lovely Ghost Town MOCs. ) Thanks a lot! ) I do recommend you to read the story, it's not very long, but, IMO, one of the best of Lovecraft. ) Thanks! ) Sounds pretty interesting. if you ever decide to build ine, I'd love to see it. ) Thank you! ) Well, in the end he got away from them. ) And paid with his sanity. ///// Still, I recommend you to read Lovecraft (he's free in the Web). He may be a bit insane, but great as an author. ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  12. Thank you. ) Though, as stated below, it's painted troll head. ) Yes, thanks a lot! ) The interesting point is, that I never noticed some flaws here untill I made a macro-picture. \ve already eliminated them, thanks! ) No doubt. ) Thank you! ) Thanks a lot, friend! ) In fact it's the only attempt I've seen so far! ) I appreciate your opinion greatly! ) Thank you. ) Thank you very much! ) I shall post the upgraded head soon. ) Thanks! ) Sure, you are very welcome, still if you post the fig somewhere, please, do give me a credit. ) Thanks a lot! ) At least I hope LEGO will make one. ) Such a nice cheracter he is. ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  13. "At length, feeling a fatigue which had nothing of drowsiness in it, I bolted the newly outfitted hall door, turned off the light, and threw myself down on the hard, uneven bed - coat, collar, shoes, and all. In the darkness every faint noise of the night seemed magnified, and a flood of doubly unpleasant thoughts swept over me. I was sorry I had put out the light, yet was too tired to rise and turn it on again. Then, after a long, dreary interval, and prefaced by a fresh creaking of stairs and corridor, there came that soft, damnably unmistakable sound which seemed like a malign fulfillment of all my apprehensions. Without the least shadow of a doubt, the lock of my door was being tried - cautiously, furtively, tentatively - with a key. <....> After a time the cautious rattling ceased, and I heard the room to the north entered with a pass key. Then the lock of the connecting door to my room was softly tried. The bolt held, of course, and I heard the floor creak as the prowler left the room. After a moment there came another soft rattling, and I knew that the room to the south of me was being entered. Again a furtive trying of a bolted connecting door, and again a receding creaking. This time the creaking went along the hall and down the stairs, so I knew that the prowler had realised the bolted condition of my doors and was giving up his attempt for a greater or lesser time, as the future would shew." Ladies and gentlemen! I really enjoy "Shadow over Innsmouth". So, here's a vig depicting one of the scariest moments, IMHO, in Lovecraft's stories..... ) Hope you, Lovecraft fans and those who haven't yet had an opportunity to read him, will like it! ) Details: Minifigures: "The readiness with which I fell into a plan of action proves that I must have been subconsciously fearing some menace and considering possible avenues of escape for hours. From the first I felt that the unseen fumbler meant a danger not to be met or dealt with, but only to be fled from as precipitately as possible. The one thing to do was to get out of that hotel alive as quickly as I could, and through some channel other than the front stairs and lobby." Any comments, ladies and gentlemen? )
  14. Ladies and gentlemen, I present you my latest SW MOC figure: Wat Tambor. To remind you a bit, here are some pics: And here's the figure itself: (figure based on his Ep.II image ) Any comments, ladies and gentlemen? ) P.S. Credit for Tambor's mask goes to ForceMaster for the concept Idea. )
  15. Thank you very much. ) I guess, there is still some room for improvement: for example, the quality of the pictures.... ? Thanks a lot, darkrebellion! ) Yes, your advice is is very useful, thanks for that! I guess, I'll make the updates..... Still, pardon me, but what "rings" do you mean exactly? ) Thanks you! ) I've always loved dwarves too! ) Thank you very much, DoctorDude234! A great idea with keg-droid! ) Thanks a lot, svelte_corps! ) I was just toying with barrels when that idea came to me, which later grew into decision to make the droids and participate in the contest. ) Thanks a lot, ADHO! ) Since I used only Castle parts (at least for Octuptarra), I guess it's pure Castle in that way. ) As for Burorin, indeed, he is a skilled dwarf. You can see some of his previous creations here: Balloon: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=299990 Mine Crawler: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=300375 Oil Tanker: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=308680 Luminum Spider: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=302683 Oil Truck: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=360490 Good day, gentlemen! )
  16. Yes, thank you! ) I guess, I'll take your recommendations into account when I'll be making another castle MOC! ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  17. How very true! ) Well, I guess, there ought to be a couple of village idiots boys around to save her after all..... ) A very fine MOC, with a nice rock piece. ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  18. I'm sorry to cut in, but I don't really think it's much of a laughing matter.....
  19. Ladies and gentlemen, it's not very often when I participate in different contests, but I really couldn't miss this one. ) I present you my Castle-SW MOC: "Dwarven Octuptarra and Spider droids". I hope you'll like them! ) Name: Dwarven Octuptarra and Spider droids. Theme: Castle (only castle parts were used, BTW) Number of bricks: 200 (exactly. ) When war comes to the snowy land of dwarves, it's not the shields and axes that can win the fight. The great dwarven engineer Burorin is always there with a new war vehicle! The troll and even skeleton armies run away in panic upon seeing the giant Octuptatta droid. It moves swowly across the battlefield crushing everything on its path. But what's that? It's the famous "Beerkeg" Spider droid! Much smaller but faster than Octuptarra these droids can even bring down armored Giant Trolls. So, enemies of the dwarves, beware! ) General picture: Octuptarra front: Right: Back: Left: Top: Details: "Beerkeg" Spider Droid front: Left: Back: Right: Details: Chief Engineer Burorin and his war vehicles: Thank you for your attention, ladies and gentlemen! )
  20. Thanks! Archaic? ) Thank you, dear lady! ) yes, I was thinnking of adding a shield or something of that kind, but frankly disliked all variants. So I ecided to put nothing, instead of putting anything. ) Though, I think I could have added a flag or something..... ) Thanks, AwesomeStar! ) It's not the first time, I hear that my MOCs inspire others. I guess, it's the best praise for me. ) Thank you. ) Thanks a lot! ) I appreciate your opinion! ) Thanks! ) Hmpf, dear sir, may I remind you, that my MOCs are not limited by Batman here, on EB. I have plenty other themes covered. What a disgrace! Kidding! ) Thanks a lot, *Jerry Man*! ) Thanks a lot, WhiteFang! ) You know how I appreciate your opinion! ) At least someone remembers that I do not live by Batman alone here! ) Yes, In fact, giving you an impression of a quite and peaceful place was my goal. It's elven bank, is it not? ) Ha-ha!) I was wondering when someone would ask that! ) No suprise that it was you! ) Yes, initially there was another elf there, a spearman(elf?), but the room looked a bit too crouded that way, so I got rid of him. ) Let's imagine that in case of danger the chest seals itself in a magical way, shall we? ) Thanks again, WhiteFang! ) I trully value your kind words. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  21. My dear lady! ) I am quite sure that nobody is trying to offend you here. We appreciate your comic story and I must thank you for giving me the pleasure of reading it. I really enjoyed it. I must also say that all above posted comments have the point, and since you asked to comment and share our opinions with you, please interpret them as advice from good friends, nothing more, nothing less. ) I myself should mention your exellent photography, and since I'm a great comic-lover and made 2 comics here on EB myself I really love the way yours is done. ) Please do continue, and let us enjoy the pleasure of seeing your wonderful comic stories. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  22. A very, very nice speeder, ADHO! ) Exellent job done! The speeder looks really good, and fits in SW perfectly! ) Though, I felt quite uneasy upon seeind two defeated BD! ) Just joling. ) Well done, please keep your nice MOCs up! ) Good day, gentlemen! )
  23. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's been quite a while since I posted a Castle MOC. ) While Chief Engineer Burorin is working on his next project (hope you still remember him! ), I decided to present you an Elven Bank. It's not as safe as the dwarven one, but gives better interest rates! ) And can keep your deposit for ages to come. ) Front: Queue inside: Orcish lady with a large ruby: A dwarf right from the mine with a crystal to deposit: Elven banker and his treasures: General picture: Thank you for your time! ) Any comments, ladies and gentlemen? )
  24. Though I'm a well-known clown-hater ( ), I guess the Joker will get a new toy in my Gotham. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  25. Looking forward to reading them. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
