  1. Nicely done! Very accurate and careful work you've done here! ) Though I never liked the character itself, the way you've done her is up to the highest level. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  2. Nice photo. ) Seems pretty vampiric to me. ) Since the twi'lek in front of the Walrus looks really pale and his should-be-white fangs seem to be covered in blood! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  3. Now that's a shame! My favourite thread on the third page! It needs a boost. ) Originally ispired by LuxorV' Darkling idea and Brickforge archer. ) So I present you my new Castle minifigure...... Deyjan zombie. ) "Take that, take that!" I hope you liked that small update! ) Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  4. I must say, it's very well done. ) The actual lack of plants, pumpkins, etc..... made me think of it being either early spring, or early autumn in Hogwarts. ) And the terrain is a bit "messy" - very much like Hagrid himself. ) You've captured the idea greatly. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  5. Oh, lovely! ) I must admit that to my shame I'm not familiar with Naruto at all, but some of those great decals could be very useful in other themes. Thanks for making them: it's always a pleasure to see such an exellent job, done with inspiration and care. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  6. Ladies and gentlemen, inspired by the upcoming wave I decided to do my long ago postponed ( ) thread about Harry Potter. ) I used to be somewhat of a fan some time ago. Before Rowling fell into characters-killing frenzy..... Anyway, this thread is supposed to be much like my previous ones, where I'm uploading new pictures in new post from time to time. ) I hope you'll enjoy this one. ) I decided to start with the characters never done by LEGO so far. ) Horace Slughorn. ) One of my most favourite characters. Potions master. Irma Pince. ) The librarian. (Please note the black fur and "vulture-like" hat. ) Poppy Pomfrey. ) Hogwarts nurse. I hope you liked that part! ) Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  7. Well, I must say, that this theme goes completely against my character and interests in life. But! After having seen clear pictures I sure changed my attitude to them. I actually liked that chaos feeling with a bit of insanity in every set. The same feeling I had back in the Time Cruisers time. ) Not to mention, it's a great sourse for minifigures and interesting parts. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  8. My most sincere congratulations, gentlemen! ) May the following year be filled with joy and LEGO. And joy from LEGO! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  9. Lovely! ) Now you just need to find a decent way to make posh victorian-style dresses without making ladies taller than gentlemen, like it's done with slopes now. ) Good job! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  10. Frankly speaking, I doubt that Hogwarts will be an exclusive set. I'm pretty sure that those kids (TFOLs and AFOLs also) that missed the previous waves of Potter would very much welcome the set. Since it contains all core characters and locations. It would be really unwise for LEGO it limit the number of stores, selling this set. However it could be proclaimed to be a limited edition to rocket the price, but in that case case it'll be as "limited" as Separatist Spider Droid of SW, IMHO. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  11. Oh, you're too kind, ADHO15! ) She's ready to be sent to your system, Admiral! ) I hope she'll be a good part of your SW collection. ) Thank you very much! ) The red princess, pardon? I'm afraid I didn't get the point here, sorry. ) No, should I? ) Thanks! ) I'm glad you liked her. ) A little longer? Yes, I guess, you're right. It's just I havent found the pic of her back. ) Thanks a lot. ) Thank you. ) I'm not sure that SW minifigs will come soon, however, I hope you'll enjoy them as well! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  12. Thanks a lot! ) Suprisingly, Aladdin seemed to me a more successful minifigure, but it appears that I'm wrong. ) Thanks a lot! ) yes, I try to make my customs as "live" as possible. ) Who needs Jasmine when they a re around? ) Anyway, I may give her a try. ) Thank you! ) No, I did not cut his head (I did it once, however, to create Nuvo Vindi), but I'm pleased that I've managed to give a "skinny" effect for him! ) Yes, once you've mentioned that, I see that my Aladdin is a bit old. ) In fact, the original minifig, did not have the cheek lines, but he looked to fat for me that way, so i decided to make him older but thinner! ) Thank you. ) Her name is Ursula. ) I doubt that from Aladdin, but from other themes most probably. ) Thank you. ) Yes, I am taking requests. Both for just making and making just for you. Shipping wolrdwide. Captain Hook, sounds interesting, btw! ) Thank you very much! ) I hope you'll like the upcoming minifigures as well. ) Thanks a lot! ) Indeed Disney Classics theme would be mostly welcome from TLC. ) Thanks a lot! ) I'm glad you liked those. ) I'm not sure about Jasmine, but I've already made a Genie, not Disney one, however. ) Thanks a lot! ) Thank you very much. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  13. Thanks! ) You're very kind. ) I hope you'll like the upcoming figures as well. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  14. Nicely done! And purist one, what's even better. Because sometimes it takes even more talent to create a purist minifig than a custom one! ) Looking forward to seeing the result of your experiment. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  15. Definitely a source of joy for the whole EB community to witness such a great job! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  16. Thanks a lot! ) Oh, I myself used to be 40K fan. Necrons all the way! ) And now it's time for a new update! ) This fig has been done especially for ADHO15, a great SW specialist and a faithful friend! ) I hope that you'll like my new figure, ladies and gentlemen! ) Shaak Ti. I hope you liked her! ) Any comments, ladies and gentlemen? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  17. As I've said before the sets look pretty nice. Though for me it's the minifigures that attract me mostly. ) Snape. One of my most favourite characters in the books and such a strange interpretation here. I mean the lips seem to have been taken from OF set the rest is new. Including the hair. I'd definitely use the old hair on this minifig, and perhaps the old head, which I find much better. And the torso..... Yes, I'd definitely use the old fig. ) Flitwick. That's a hard one to judge. The fig itself looks great and very much like the new flitwick, but my heart is still with the old "Leviosa" one. ) A good opportunity to test my customisation skills! ) Yay! ) McGonagall. My favourite one in HP books. ) And it seems that she'd been done greatly in both LEGO interpretations. but, what bothers me is her face. I'm not a big fan of that smirking face it seems she has. I'm more for a strict-looking-nevertheless-smiling old one. However I guess that a proper picture of her face may change my opinion. or have I missed one? Plus I never really understood why would TLC give her a green hat? I'm pretty sure that in the film she has a black one. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  18. I meant 2-3 sets! ) I'm sure the set will be worth that! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  19. My two cents, ladies and gentlemen. ) I didn't expect much from that theme, frankly speaking, but now, after the pictures, I'm really impressed! Now let's see.... Dobby's Release: I really like that set. I may even get at least three of those. A definity wins for me^ - a diary (one can never have enough books) - a sock (such details are great for MOCking - Malfoy! No comments needed. ) - printed Dobby, brooms, useful bricks..... I'm pretty sure that set is going to be one of the bestsellers of the theme. ) Quidditch Lesson: My another favor here. ) - Madame Hooch! I've always loved that character. Good to see her back! ) - Oliver Wood. Again, no comments needed! ) - Malfoy Jr (Not sure about his face, I can't see it properly, but I'm sure TLC will not disappoint us ) - A nice Quiddich cup! Pretty useful. ) - Rings, catapults and other things..... Well, not impressed, still good for MOCs. ) Hagrid's Hut: Frankly speaking, a bit of dissappointment to me. The figs are good, and they may persuade me to get the set, but the rest is pretty useless to me. Even mushrooms don't save the set. I styill consider the very first Hagrids hut to be the best! ) Aragog - Good that I have the old one! ) The Burrow: Again a set for figs. ) And perhaps dark red bricks. I never liked the Burrow as a place, I didn't like it in the film, nor that I like the Weasleys..... Bricks - to MOCs, figs to collection! ) Hogwarts Express: I don't really see any point in getting that set to me. I'm not interested in the train, I don't find any need to get Luna. Ford Anglia is a nice touch, but looks a bit blocky so far. Nothing very appealing. Hogwarts Castle: Now, that's a SET! - Massive, beautiful, with great figures. - Has the classical look! Tonns of assesories! ) - Filch, Dumbledore, Snape! ) - Dark green McGonagall! A favourite professor in a new great color! ) I would've got that set only for her! - Imagine 203 sets put together! Colossal! ) A very nice theme brought back! A great selection of figs! Way to go, TLC! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  20. Nicely done! ) It can be seen that you were doing them with care and attention! ) And that is always visible in the final product. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  21. Also done. Welcome to EB. The results of the survey shall be of great interest to us all, no doubt. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  22. Um, gentlemen, I'm not a moderator, but perhaps the discussion of armor would be more suitable in other thread? ) Speaking of tournament set, that sounds like a great idea, as long as it's not like this one: Addition: It appears that there's definitely a new piece for a catapult, btw. If you look closely on the calendar and set pics, wou'll see the new "cup". ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  23. Ladies and gentlemen! ) Your kind comments about my Ursula inspired me to create another bunch of minifigures! ) I'm proud to present you my latest Disney minifigs: thief boy Aladdin and Grand Vizier Jafar! ) I'm sure you all know them and I hope you'll like them in my version. ) Aladdin. Jafar. I hope you liked them! ) Bonus: When heroes and villains clash..... Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  24. Now that you say it, I guess the hair indeed may be dark orange. ) She may well turn out to be a Red Princess, which is definitely very welcome! ) Thanks for showing that! ) Well, sorry to cut in, but there's no reason to think that that's an old torso. Since the old mage had a belt bag on one side and that obviously has something else there! ) Not to mention that he has a new face with white eyebrows. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  25. Yep, they are all present. I just didn't see any need to mention standard figs! Yes, but since it's a pic of still preliminary set, I guess that they've just put a standart FE maid there. That could be changed. ) But I guess that at the same time the queen's figure may be a unique one for the Calendar. (Like the witch used to be.) Good idea! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
