Er, does a happy birthday wish a week late count? Happy birthday you two, I hope you got lots of Lego.

Ooh! Great work so far. The cieling is the first thing that caught my eye. Ican't wait to see how large and impressive the final product will be. Good luck!

Okay, well we didn't get to test the track out, but oh well, hopefully we'll find something useful at the danger tracks. -
Congrats again, CopMike, I'm glad to have you as our ambassador. And I think we forgot Nannan, he's an EB member, too.

I've had mice in my house before, but not in my Lego. The last one I found was bloody and dead in a laundry basket, thanks to my cat. Better dead in my clothes than alive, I guess. Speaking of cats, I did find one in my Lego bin, once. Spiders, ants, and nats also find their way into my collection. I'm not terrified of them, but I'd rather have them out of my house. You lived in a forest? We have a few rabbits living in the garden. They don't eat any plants or vegetables, fortunately, so they're welcome. It's the chipmunks that are the problem, though... Now that's gross. Although it was pretty cool seeing my cat jump up and grab a bird from the air. Good luck on your move, by the way, Hinck.

No, the voicing was fine, but it just sounded like you were really pissed off. It had me cracking up for some reason.

Well deserved, all four of you! Congratulations! You even get special, shiny new golden color for your member name on EB.

Deformed person: Needle? What needle? Note: some might not get this. That's okay, I'll give you hint if you want.

Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 10
JimBee replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Umm... oops. Well, at least that's better than nothing. I'd like to try to flip the seventh switch back on. Am I supposed to take that as an inappropriate comment? -
 I love those voice impressions! "Wouwie! Where's our back-up!?" "Nooo, what we haff to do is stowp Gweevous from woozing the tiwme machine". Great job on this, JD, I can see that you took a lot of time to take all of the pictures for stop-motion, because it looks like the figures are actually moving by themselves. It's not jumpy at all. Great sound effects, too. Keep up the great work.

Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 10

Please don't fret, Herman, if we don't come across the danger tracks on our way of testing the track combo, we'll check them out first thing after. Which would be this: Switch 1: On Switch 2: On Switch 3: Off Switch 4: On Switch 5: On Switch 6: On Switch 7: Off I'd like to flip all of the switches to these positions. -
Dead Space? Nice MOC, Commander Tac. Not only is the bloody leg cool, but all of the little details on the wall and floor are excellent.

Nice one, Peppermint M. I really like it's sleek and smooth design. My only suggestion would be to buff up the sides, specifically where the doors are. Not having this makes the car have an uninteresting body shape. I think you could make the car's body much more defined by doing this. Good work, though.

Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 10
JimBee replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hmm, interesting. While Jethro could have done all of these things, I still think that Bulldog stopped the train. She doesn't have to be here in town. Maybe she wants everyone to believe she's dead. And even if she was here among us, she could be disguised as anyone. If Herman is right, than Jethro could be the killer, even though Herman never accused him of this. And if I'm right, then the helper could be Bulldog. Nothing. We don't know anything for sure yet, despite what some of us think. What I do think that we should do, though, is get a move on and go somewhere, before somebody else is murdered. -
What Non-Licensed Theme do you think will end next year?
JimBee replied to just2good's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Agents. The first wave was really great, but I only ended up getting one set, and the second wave doesn't interest me at all. Most of the sets (especially the non-vehicle oriented ones) are lackluster, and I don't think there is much that the TLG can do except have the good guys beat the bad guys at the end of every wave, and bring the bad guys back at the beginning of every wave. It's the way of almost every childrens T.V. show/ comic/ other. I think that Agents will go down as another one of those spy-action type themes, with only a few waves of sets. Power Miners could also be close to it's end. Yes, it was just released this year, but what else an they do with it? There's been plenty of digging and drilling vehicles, an underground base or two, and even a giant rock monster. What else is there? Not that this isn't a good theme, though. I think that Pirates has lots left in it, though. There's only been a single wave of the new Pirates so far, and it is an evergreen theme. If Castle has lasted this long (and hopefully for many years to come), then Pirates should do just as well. -
Okay, then, thanks. Sci-Fi it is.

Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 10

But were you with the others the whole time? You couldn't have been left too far behind when they took the handcar. Maybe that's what she wants the town to think, or maybe that's what the town council wants everyone else to think. For the first reason, perhaps Miss (Mrs.?) Thornton doesn't want to be found. So that leaves 2, 2, and 2 votes, tied again. I still strongly believe that we should go to the switch tower and test out the switch combo. It's the most obvious clue we have at the moment, and we could possibly come across the danger tracks. Why do we want to move the tanker again? -

I say we leave the tanker and go try that switch combination, and test it out with the hand car or Croc. If we don't come across it on the way, we can go back to the "danger" tracks. -

I suppose you're right, which would make your (and Grease's) theory correct- that Jennifer had outside help. Agreed. It appears that someone doesn't want us to leave. All I'm saying is that it is most likely that one of the people who visited the farm tried to empty the tanker. Where else would hay be? But while we're at it, let's say, just for the purpose of seeing the possibilities, that you did attempt to empty the tanker. Why would you do that? Maybe you are working for Miss Thornton, and don't want us to leave for whatever reason? Maybe you wanted help bringing the evildoers of this town to justice, or maybe you just wanted to save Jennifer. For whatever reason of doing these things, you seem to have the most evidence against you, suggesting that you emptied the tanker, and/ or stopped the train, and/ or are working with/ for Elizabeth. I wouldn't be ready to fully accuse you, but right now you are the largest suspect for committing these actions. And I'll just throw this out there that if the photo of the female in the locket is Miss Thornton, maybe the photo of the male is her husband, and he might be the one (Bulldog or not) who is here among us. -
Ah, thanks, Sinner. I also had one more question concerning where MOCs go- several (non-official) themes could fit in several categories. The Matrix, for example, could fit in Sci-Fi (because it takes place in the future with robots taking over the world), Action Themes (because the movies are "action"), or Other Themes. I just wanted to know what the discretion of the staff was for MOCs of this sort, and if Action Themes is limited to the official Lego themes within it.

Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 10

Remember that Jennifer escaped the jail at some point. She could have sent the letters then, with or without using the post-office. If she did, though, George could be lying about the twelve letters. Then again... I'm sure he wouldn't have sent them if he knew that they were from Jennifer. This is also a good possibility. Grease suggested that the woman in the picture in Jennifer's locket could be Elizabeth Thornton, a blood relative to Jennifer. This seems pretty likely to me. I agree with you, Grease, that the hay suggests that it was one of the people at the farm sabotaged the tanker. That leaves five (six, counting Scruffy) possibilities; Herman, Austin, Jeb, Jethro, and Bulldog... and I think I know who might have done it. -
To me, the overall community and positive atmosphere on these boards make Eurobricks a great place to be. I can express myself freely, get feedback for my reviews, articles, and MOCs, participate in contests and games, and contribute to the growing site without worry of immaturity (not that we don't like our fun ) or negative attitude. I can say that this is my very first forum that I've been on, and one of the only ones I'm on at all, and I'm glad that I joined. In specific, though, some good experiences that I've had here include going through the Reviewers' Academy and teaching in it, participating in contests, games, and other activities, and most of all, making reviews. What a great place to be.

Has anyone else noticed that the theme months forum (the one that you couldn't post in) is gone? It's not that I visited it often, but it was nice to have, and I was wondering if/ why the staff removed it. Are there any other changes that the staff has not yet noted? On another note, I like the added Brickfilm and Comic forum- it cleans up a lot of clutter in various forums, and it's great to be able to find all of the comics in one spot.

Mmmmm Chrooooome! Now wouldn't Threepio like a companion to join him in his chrome bath?
