I voted for more TLG-created themes. To me, these new licensed themes that continue to introduce themselves into the Lego world don't do much for most AFOLs and TFOLs, and maybe even some JFOLs. Sure, some licensed themes, such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones are/ were successful, but most are just passing fads to the children, and boring for some A/TFOLs. Speed Racer only lasted one wave, and what did it offer? A couple of cool cars for the kids, and a little variety of pieces for the adults. I have no doubt doubt that the new licenses like Ben 10 and Cars will die out quickly (although Prince of Persia might be interesting...). Why waste time and money when better themes like Western or Romans/ Greeks could be made?

Pedro. I forgot about the different categories.

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 9A
JimBee replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I think we'll need to find another tape and play the two at the same time to get results. I wouldn't be so concerned about driving outing of town with that- it can't carry everyone. Unless we take Lorianne's semi, too... George, why haven't you told us about anything before? The airstrip, the airplane, the truck... this information could have been helpful when we were trying to figure out what was in the northwest area. Right now, you're very suspicious, not only for being a town council member, but for attempted murder, and avoiding giving us valuable answers. Can we please kill this guy, or at least tie him up? I'd like to help Grease inspect the truck (the inside as well). -

Okay, I guess you were right, Mayor, sorry about that. But who is dumb enough to just leave evidence like that? I agree that we should check out the airstrip while we're here. where did you say that plane was, George? -

How about the other side? If not, I'd like to open up the cassette and check that the actual tape is pulled taut. I'm sure there are better methods to smashing a radio than with an axe. Why would someone leave evidence when they could just throw the radio on the ground? Plus, I don't think the radio's paint would come off that easily- it might not even be painted, but actual red plastic. -
Actually, Jim Butcher isn't my real name. I wonder if there are any JCC1004 sites? Sorry to disappoint. Did you tell your friends you knew a famous writer? However, it does feel good to know that I could pass as a famous author.

And after he's done, I'd like to flip the tape over and play the other side. Maybe there's a secret message. It's like Revolution #9. How does it go again, Eleanor? I'm not so sure that's red paint on the axe... -
I'm a famous writer, although I knew that before searching. I haven't read any of his books, but I've seen them at stores. http://www.jim-butcher.com/

Trust me, he already has. Could you please answer my questions? Town council member or not, this information is very valuable. I promise not to kill you (like you tried to do to Max) if you share. I wonder if there is a way to look inside the barrels? If there is, I'd like to try it (opening the lid, poking a hole, etc.). By the way, where is everybody? Herman, Eleanor, and Arin haven't said anything in a while. -
Yes, the first one was for good contributors to the SW forum. There was a topic about it somewhere... The second one is for 1st place winners in Star Wars contests, so Oky Wan is currently the only member with this tag. I know because I asked KimT. More incentive to join the contests...

What?? How would it dispense towels? Anyway, I suppose that measuring tool could be useful. I usually just count the studs or guess the length, but I'd use it if it was right next to me while building. And there's even a cookie cutter. Svelte must be in heaven.

You mean a tu-tu? How would you know that it's broken? Have you worn one before? Does anyone else want to inspect anything in the building (besides the barrels outside)? -

Of course he does. Hm, well then, I'd like to turn it on please. Good thinking. Assuming ones mean on and zeros mean off, that would mean: Switch 1: On Switch 2: On Switch 3: Off Switch 4: On Switch 5: On Switch 6: On Switch 7: Off Or we could try it the other way. After we're done here, I suggest we head back to the switch tower and try it out. Eleven had one pony. Twenty-two had one too. Eleven won a race. Twenty two won one too. Clever, Waffle-brains. -

Is there a fortune on the back? Anyways, I wonder if this is a frequency station number? Could I try it out on a radio (if there is one)? It could also be a binary code... Hmm, I want to see if a tape is in there. If so, I would like to try it by pressing the play button. Then I'd like to try playing the other side of the tape, please. -

Ah, thanks. So you volunteer, huh? Who was here lately, namely on May 6th? Did anyone send out 12 letters at the same time? Please try to remember, George, as this information could be extremely useful. -

I'd like to feel around and in the mail slots for any switches, etc. It looks like this place hasn't been used in a while. Who works here? Why is that date circled? I'd also like to check out the May month calendar, if it is still there. -
This makes want to just go out and buy the other three modular buildings to go with this one. The gold bell and helmets, the fire truck, the brick work, the tan pouch.... I just can't believe that TLG could outdo themselves like this.

Excellent creation, dabulls03. Great parts usage, and I'm loving the laser drill. Good luck.

How unusual for an airstrip to be close to such a minuscule town. Oh well, I want to go inside the post office to see if there are any letters not sent yet or in the inbox. Maybe we'll see a letter from this mysterious Elizabeth/ Jennifer person. I'm sure that the radio station could be interesting as well. No problem, Alex, no worries. By the way, who works at these places? -
Thanks for the encouragement, Kim. Considering there is less than 24 hours to get a new version built and posted, I think I'll keep mine the way it is. Thanks once again for everyone's feedback, it is very helpful to me. Good luck to all.

Let's go to the northwest, and see what's there. On a side note, I've said several things that are being ignored. I wanted to inspect the gun first! -

Well, then, lets take a look at all of the files. No, that's what I just said: this person could be either a woman or a male with a woman alias. It wouldn't be much of a mystery if we could narrow it down to only the two ladies aboard. -

That's very interesting. I have no doubt that this Jennifer person could be either a male or a female, but who? And since the letter is not dated, this person could have been in jail and running away for a very long time, over a year, according to the records across town. Gah! I knew it! I knew there had to be a gun in a desk somewhere! Greasman, if you don't mind, I'd like to check if the gun is loaded, and if it has been fired recently. I have a bad feeling about this... Somewhere dangerous. I hope we get to the bottom of this fast. I don't mind you holding on to the gun, but as Pete said, there must be a passenger of the EE that was associated with the mayor and/ or the townspeople. -
Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Darth Legolas, yes, that is the jeep on the right side of the picture. From a different view, I think my MOC would look similar to the actual thing, but I agree Admiral Rodgers that the front is too pointy. In all modesty, I thought the rest was alright, though. Thanks for pointing that out.
