  1. 5150 Lego, do you mean the first version that's in the first post? If so, take a look at the new version a few posts down. Just a quick update, I've almost completed my third (and final) version of the truck, I just need to add some finishing touches. The reason that it's going to be final is that it uses a lot of pieces from other built sets, and I really want to rebuild my collection after most of it's been destroyed for over a year. I hope this one fits the movie version better.
  2. I was just thinking the same thing; Lost Mafia. I would love to co-host, that is, as long as it's planned far enough in the future (after Mafia games already planned) so I would have enough experience. Unless you were thinking of a seasoned game host.
  3. I could throw you, Arin. Or better yet, we could do that maneuver from that one movie. Everyone wrap the rope rails around their hands and ankles, and then Pete could go to the end of the line and chop the bridge with his axe, and we could climb up the wall.
  4. Carefully... carefully... Arin, wouldn't you like me to go first?
  5. Thanks Brakes. Just stay at least 10 feet behind me so that we don't put too much pressure on one spot. Sounds good, Austin. I also advise that trustworthy people have one suspicious person in between them on the bridge. Jethro and *cough* Bulldog *cough* are a good start.
  6. Wow I have to say I'm impressed with this set. The light up lamp post, trans-yellow star, trans-purple skiing poles, and the new caroler faces are all great aspects of the set. I just wish that the house was a little bigger, more like the size of MMV. Unfortunately. Hopefully this is a preliminary design.
  7. I just noticed that Stash2Sixx has been promoted to the rank "Star Wars Regulator". I'm assuming this isn't another one of the staff's inside jokes, even though there hasn't been an official announcement yet. So, congratulations, Stash! I'll be looking forward to seeing you around here, helping KimT.
  8. On one hand, going first could ensure that the bridge won't collapse from people before you, but on the other, there could be another trap... I guess I'll go first.
  9. 1. Your first Lego set you remember? I think it was 7101 Lightsaber Duel, or perhaps this old Studios set. 2. Your most loved set? That's a tough one. Probably either 7212 X-Wing Fighter, or 7656 General Grievous' Starfighter. 3. The worst thing did you do with your bricks? (you know, chewing bricks, etc. :D) I'm sorry to admit it, but I burned a minifigure I found in the dirt once. I feel so bad now. 4. The first MOC you builded and published on EB? Sadly, this. 5. Hmm... I don't know how to translate it to english... Set you want in childhood and you didn't get it then? Oh, I don't know, I am still considered a child by some. 6. Favourite MOC (YOC) you builded? My Hornet Starfighter. 7. Worst MOC (YOC) you builded? default_classic.gif See #4. 8. What is your favorite HOC? Anything by SirNadroj. His imagination and talent amaze me every time he makes something new.
  10. Neat idea, I've seen the show once, so recreating it this way is pretty cool. For my vote, I'll go with the Sith Trooper. SBDs are smarter than regular BDs, but still pretty dull. If the Sith Soldier is as stealthy and trained as it appears to be, it could take a small army of SBDs with just his sniper rifle, his detonator, and a few barrels of oil.
  11. So what you mean to say is that TLG is never going to make a tank? That's quite a difference than military vehicles in general. I don't mean to be argumentative here, but it's very possible that the Indy tank could be a set. Like McSmeag said, TLG is on shaky ground with topic of violence and weapons. Sure, the molds [of guns/ swords] might not be accurate, but the concept still remains. TLG said they wouldn't do a lot of things with violence and weapons, yet, they're still a key concept of many Lego sets (not that I'm complaining, of course...). But that's what some of us have been trying to tell you- the sets have changed. The new CW-style Y-Wing is an almost completely new design. What's so different about these two sets (Hogwarts and the Y-Wing), if they're both changed each time they've been remade? That's not exactly what I meant, but never mind that. Since this getting off-topic, please PM me (or others) if you have anything else to say that doesn't relate to the topic. Just so we don't cause trouble.
  12. Congratulations, Erdy! Good luck moderating this huge forum.
  13. Maybe you ought to take your own advice. Seriously, if you're trying to make a point, I'm not seeing it. Indy's definitely got a good chance of have one more wave, regardless of what sets that wave might have, IMO. And yes, Lego has made military vehicles. Race for the Stolen Treasure had two. There's also Jungle Cutter, Rive chase (military boat, Russian "duck"), and almost every Agents set(not strictly military, but combat vehicles). One last thing, you're complaining about SW sets being redone over and over... wasn't there three Hogwarts castles? Haven't people been complaining about how 2009 has been nothing but remakes for SB? Either way, I don't mind remakes, in fact I enjoy an updated set every once in a while. The X-Wing wouldn't be iconic if it wasn't made into Lego 4 times.
  14. I already lead the way once, and got mauled by a tree. I think that I'll be comfortable in the middle of the pack, thank you very much.
  15. ...go to Cassandra Crossing! Yes, it's all clear to me now! My telekinetic powers have told me we must go there! (I'm thinking that's the fork we haven't visited yet). So let's go!
  16. That was hilarious. My favorite part was the beginning, when the two guys are at the computers and one of them is playing Solitaire. Amazing animation, too, I loved the flying skater.
  17. Thanks, all. However, I've been having a busy summer, so I haven't been able to write another article. School is starting soon, too, so if I don't get one done by the end of August, the articles will have to wait until Christmas break. I am planning a non-evergreen theme review, though, so keep an eye out for it.
  18. Congrats, Mraz 'Skintas, that must have taken a lot of concentration to remember, let alone know, all of those names. Does this mean I'm 69% of a SW nerd?
  19. What's so confusing about it? 2009 sets and rumors, and 2010 sets and rumors until another thread is made (in December like last year, or whenever KimT decides). Discuss.
  20. Woah there, don't get carried away. I was sleeping all night, recovering my health, so I didn't butch- uh, cut anybody with a sharp object in the night. And I'm not on the town council, either, because I don't live here. I work as the steward on the Emerald Express, as you already know. Did you just do that to get an argument out of me? Just because I was a liar in a past life doesn't mean I am in this one. What exactly have I done in this life that makes me so suspicious? Yeah, I've been mauled, poisoned, and attacked by a ceiling since we've been here. If I'm one of the town council members, why have I taken so many hits? And if you want to know about helpers on the train, talk to Bulldog here. Yes! Because she's blaming me, I'm going to blame her! ( ) Thank you. Any of us could be equally guilty, especially without any evidence.
  21. If makes you feel any better, Herman, we can tie Jethro up, too. But, I insist that we don't let this time go to waste and do something. Here's the map again: Now, we took the path of the handcar to get here, right? That fork heading east before it lead to the next city, and the middle fork, heading East-Northeast, we haven't explored yet. So, I say we get a move on.
  22. I think that Ackbar's head looking darker is the result of the photographer's, camera's, or other object's shadow, or a change or lack of lighting. It could be a mold color problem, but I doubt it since the hands on each figure are exactly the same (not all four hands, but both on each figure).
  23. I have all 50 U.S. State quarters (and some of the new kind too, like Washington D.C. and Louis Armstrong), as well as half-dollar coins, silver-dollars, and gold-dollars (with Sacajawea on it). I also collected every Euro coin while I was in Europe (penny through 2 Euro), and I've been given lots of foreign coins, from places like Puerto Rico, Mexico, and some old European coins, before the Euro. I must have at least 50 different coins by now.
  24. Oh, I think you're right! (But who has called me that besides you?). This is worth much more recognition than those reviews! That's my job! And you're doing it all wrong, let me show you how it's done. *Chops Hermans head off*. On another note, does this deserve the award for "Longest Running Mafia/ Mystery Game Ever?". (Roman Mafia doesn't count). We're going on four months this 15th.
  25. I completely agree. Consider this: (Recent) Endor sets might follow the same path as the Hoth sets are/ did. In 2007, the Echo Base set came out, which was the largest Hoth set to date. In 2009, a smaller Hoth set was released, and finally, in 2010, Hoth battle packs are here. Now, in 2009, the Endor Bunker came out (the biggest Endor set to date). So, I'm thinking that maybe next year, 2010, a smaller, non-BP Endor set will come out, and the following year (2011) there will be Endor battle packs.
