I was wondering about this too. Good thinking, it turns out that you were right. Shadows, for example, appears to have seven tags. However, if you click and drag one of the four tags on top (or copy/ paste for those with a different browser than Firefox), you'll see that they're all one image, so the tag count doesn't exceed four. This way, up to sixteen tags are allowed on one profile. Clever thinking, staff.

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 14B
JimBee replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
*Pants* Okay, now that we're all back together again, we should conduct a full search of everyone. Jeb, it was your stupid idea to get us in here, so you first. Care to help me strip search him, Schmelt? Schmelt? Oh my god!!! Schmelt!!!! What happened!? Move, you fools, give him some space! Let me just help you with that bandage... Alright, Jeb, spill it. you led us into this death trap, and I'm pretty sure you sliced poor Schmelt's back. You were one of the first to find him, so you must have been close by. Can we tie him up, too? Like father, like son... -
Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 14B
JimBee replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
No. No, no, no!! Ack, too late... Now what do I do? All I see is corn. I guess I'll just try to find my way back. -
Yeah, you're right. I just can't stand keeping the set in a box if I'm not selling it. Er, yeah? I never said that it was a fact, on the contrary, I said that it was my personal preference.

I used to have this problem, but once I began to mess around with the time controls, everything was working. My current time (on here) is set to central time (GMT -6:00), which is the correct time for me. The forum clock is only about five minutes behind my computer clock. I just have to change my time to Eastern (GMT -5:00) at Daylight Savings Time because I don't think the DST change applies correctly here.

Now taking YOUR ideas for the future of LEGO Pirates theme
JimBee replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
I haven't read the past ten pages, so excuse me if this has been said before... Something village-y. Perhaps a pub, a market street, or some houses. Possibly even a dock with a few shops. Also, modular additions to Soldier's Fort would be nice. -
Hey, Mutley, did I mention that your avvie looks very nice today? I'm a collector, and I get as many different sets that I can afford. But I never keep them in the box because it's pointless to me. Collecting, to me, is displaying all of your sets, not keeping them sealed and stored away so that they can be worth something in the future. Also, I don't toss the boxes until a few months after I open the sets or the next time I get new sets, so that the area under my bed doesn't get too messy. I know this sounds weird, but I like to touch and smell that Lego freshness from the box until it's all gone. What? Nobody else does this?

Thanks for the info. I just finished watching the OT, and I remember Han having a white shirt on. At least it's not another Hoth Han, and I'm grateful that this time it's an actual minifig, instead of a printed 2x5 brick (carbonized Han). The (Lego) TIE Defender looks like this, right?:
-
A new Bossk mold sounds nice, and I can't really complain about the rest of the figs. I only hope that Han and Leia have their "normal" outfits, and not Hoth again. I've been waiting for a black vested Solo in a cheaper set for a while. Since you saw the sets, I guess that confirms that these rumors are true. Well, not completely, but... Can you tell us more about the pictures? I don't imagine that you can share the picture with us.
-
I just noticed this... hmmm.... Just wondering, did you get my PM?
-
Never. I always open them, build them, and display them, and occasionally break them apart for parts. I'm never going to sell my sets (well, not anytime soon), so there's no point for me to keep them MISB.
-
Interesting concept, you guys! And another chance for a chrome Vader? You're the best. Here are my picks: Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter- DutchRebel Nemodian shuttle- mrb18 Naboo Starfighter- Dutchrebel UCS TIE Defender- Cavegod Cloud City- Kaitan All of these MOCs are pretty amazing.. Good luck to all.

I saw this last night, too. I tried mulitple searches, looking at Shadow's posts... no such luck. Even though the topic name with a link appears in the "most recent topic" next to the Lego Licensed link on the forum home page, the link will say that the topic is deleted or moved. I wonder why he calls himself "Shadows". He's not very sneaky at all.

It looks like Svelte will be helping ImperialShadows out in the Licensed forum. Congrats once again, my friend, I look forward to seeing you around more.

I refuse to believe these rumors. If they are true, this could possibly be the worst year of LSW. Plo Koon's JSF: While the design is neat, and I enjoyed DutchRebel's MOC, I don't think Lego can do it justice, and end up making it like Anakin's and Ashoka's JSFs. Plus, this could have been an opportunity to make a different Jedi minifig, like Luminara or Saesee Tinn. Wampa Attack: Sounds interesting... It's probably what we've been waiting for (besides the TaunTaun). GG Fighter: Again? As much as I liked the first one, I don't think we need another so soon, even with the CW. Palpy's Shuttle: This sounds like one of the better sets. A chance to get the new Palpy fig cheaper, and a set that I haven't gotten previous incarnations of. Slave I: They're still going to make it? Why don't they focus on a Palpy office first? I hope this won't be the "big TESB anniversary" set. Clone Turbo Tank: I personally didn't like the first one all that much, and there's certainly no need for another remake. It is good news that Obi-Wan will be included in the landspeeder set, though. Now I don't have to get the Death Star for the figs. I really hope Jedinews.com has been wrong lately...

Movie you liked but most people hated...
JimBee replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in Culture & Multimedia
That's interesting. I've never heard of anyone thinking that comic book movies should be silly (I hope The Spirit didn't start this rep ), but the rest of what you said makes perfect sense. To go along with what you and darkrebellion said, the sad thing about some movies is that they're too complicated for a lot of people. I can usually comprehend an entire movie from one view, but in some movie, I can see where they would be really confusing. Again, I haven't actually seen Watchmen, so I can't say much about it. That's probably one of the best approaches to movies and movie-watching that I've heard. The action in a movie is great (I usually don't stray far from action movies), but the story and plot are what really make a movie good or bad for me. Really? I must have got in my head somehow that TLW was the third. But if you're talking about the second one, then I fully agree with you. I loved the second one almost as much as I did the first, and the San Fransisco part really kept me on the edge of my seat (well, not so literally this time, but it was pretty great). But again, I don't remember anyone not liking this movie. -
Can we finally change the font colors on the front page?

Highlighting is also an easy option... -
Movie you liked but most people hated...
JimBee replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Who doesn't like Watchmen? It got good enough ratings, right? I haven't seen it myself yet, so I can't say for sure, but I don't know many people who didn't like that movie. I personally hated JPIII. It didn't have the same vibe of excitement that the first two did, the acting was bad, and the same plot theme was getting old at that point (go back to an island with dinosaurs and escape). Then again, this topic is for movies that you liked, so I'll shut up now. -
That's the thing. I was hoping for this to be different. I guess I hoped for too much, though, since Abrams also did that in

...those fingers didn't agree with my stomach! They heard a strange noise that sounded a lot like...

OLD Mafia and Mystery Games Index
JimBee replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Typically, no more than one mafia game is played at one time (Galactic Paranoia running alongside Ditalini was the only time this general "rule" was broken). But I think mystery games, such as MOTEE or Mystery Manor are allowed to run at the same time as mafia games. This is probably because they run longer than mafia games. Good luck, Striker. -
OLD Mafia and Mystery Games Index
JimBee replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Here's the list: Dragonator - Mystery Castle II Trexxen - Pirate Mafia Silent-Sigfig - Starship Mafia Darth Legois - 30's Mafia Adam - 24 Mafia I estimate that MC II will take place around late September. Pirate mafia- sometime in November, Starship Mafia- January, 30's Mafia- February/ March, 24 Mafia- April/ May. Also, not yet added are Sandy's Hogwarts Mafia (June/ July) and Ricecracker's/ JimButcher's Lost Mafia in August/ September. Then again, there's no telling for sure how long each game will last and when the next when will start, plus games get cancelled (Silent-Sigfig hasn't been around for a while...), so I'd say you have a good chance of having a spot for late 2010 (if you wanted to start a game). Either way, I'd suggest you sign up now before you have to wait longer. -
Thanks for this review! This was totally unexpected, though it was a pleasant surprise. I am definitely going to have to grab this one the next time I visit a Lego store, along with the Castle chess set (if it's still available). The variety of figures is awesome (normally, I like all of the pawns to be the same, but this is great for minifig collecting), and it looks like the red bandannas are making a comeback. The price is bothering me, though. 24 great figures blue a giant baseplate and some other parts for 50 USD sounds like a good deal. But on the other hand, I could find most of the figure and fig pieces in the other Pirate sets (most of which I was planning on getting), which may hold a better value than this set because of the pieces and that they are individual sets themselves.

I just saw Cloverfield, and it was truly amazing. I really enjoyed the filming style (the entire movie was filmed on a hand-held VC by one of the main characters) and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was a real thrill, but I wish that . , so that was a part I didn't like. Overall, one of the most exciting movies I've seen in a while. J.J. Abrams never ceases to amaze me.

Haw! These are amazing! I would have never guessed that the modes could change into a different mode so seamlessly. I like the white one a little better, but both are great! I think I had the same reaction as KimT, it took me ten minutes just to stop looking at the MOCs for a few seconds and post my compliments.
