  1. Then who would you have us lynch? You haven't really brought anything to the table. I'm afraid you're our best option for the moment. Don't think I'm not listening to you, I've listened to everything you've had to say, but my mind is made. Vote: Simon the Pieman/Scorpiox
  2. "Thank you Maurice." Hybros (played by JimButcher) Level 10 Rogue Power: 20 Health: 18/18 Gold: 81 Inventory: Zoot's Reaper (WP:10), Shuriken of Mercutio (WP:5), Throwing Knife (WP:5), Helmet (Max HP +1) 3 Potions, Grand Potion, 2 Remedies, Smoke Bomb, 3 Nostrums, 3 Meads, 3 Smelling Salts, Shovel, Bone, Bedroll
  3. "Hehe... right, I hadn't noticed. Alright then, I'll take the helmet for now."
  4. Sorry Simon, but do you think that changing your story, even if you missed something, will do much for your trustworthiness? If you can't even pay attention enough to notice someone's roleclaim... scum or dumb. And you blame us all for following Creeps with the utmost faith? What would you have the Criminals do, blindly vote without the slightest clue of who's suspicious? Scum or dumb... Creeps hasn't led us wrong yet, and even if we are wrong about this, we just nailed three scum. I'm going to take a leap of faith here ( ) and follow his lead again.
  5. Hybros stands beside his allies, listening quietly to the employers. The job didn't sound easy, but Hybros didn't sign up for easy. He turned to Maurice. "I suppose I wouldn't mind the helmet, but if anyone needs it the most it's Erdathcath." OOC: Sandy, it should be noted that Hybros only does 20 damage with Zoot's Reaper from the front row, and 15 with the throwing weapons. Not sure if you knew this but since it's not mentioned in the party stats...
  6. Seems the same can't be said for you, Doll. It's already been confirmed by Creeps that he was blocked, and I think he was the killer if Wesker was holding a Tommy gun.
  7. Thanks for doing this CopMike. Here's my simple entry. Santa spends the 364 days he has off eating all of those cookies the kids left him.
  8. Personally, I thought the "gear" was an actual cog-like object, since it came from a mechanical spider. I had assumed it was throwable, but maybe Masked didn't want to just hand out a strong throwing weapon, hence the WP: 2. It can always be upgraded, too. I'm all for that kind of loot giveaway, where the QM doesn't just hand you good items/rewards on a silver platter all of the time.
  9. Did anyone else notice how Vent was already lying on the floor before he was killed? That combined with the way his death played out, I think he was either blocked or redirected somehow (he was "confused"). If so, good work to whoever did that, judging from the gun in his hands, it looks like he was about to kill last night. Or does he always carry a gun around?
  10. Well that's certainly good news. Well done everyone, I'm glad we got rid of those traitors. Now the question is, where to start today...
  11. I have to add to the compliments on the good work so far, Etzel. The battle with the mast is certainly creative. Strangely, the plot and setting is somewhat similar to part of the quest that I will be hosting soon. Great minds think alike?
  12. Hybros grinned beneath his facewrap. He had hoped that he'd be able to help the Ji Pei, as they had been the only house to not offer a Quest since Hybros' arrival. He went over who he'd be travelling with. Maurice, the wise-looking Cleric... he would be a central member of the team, but Hybros wondered how such an elderly man could act like such a giddy human boy with his duties as the Ennoc messenger. The imp nodded at Daggerfall as he passed by, familiar with the knight since his time in the Arena. He did not know the strange-looking Mage and the Ranger elf, but they looked able enough. "Thank you De'kra. You should really consider signing up for the other quests, too... it'll do you good by getting out of this place and experiencing the world. Eheh..." Finally, Hybros joined Eric. He had been on the same quests as the northerner since the two had joined Heroica, and had noticed a drastic change in Eric's mood. The barbarian would serve as Hybros' leader for the Quest, so he decided to try to gauge the situation. "Eric... it looks like we'll be fighting alongside each other yet again. I must ask if anything is bothering you, before we embark. If there's something you need to get off your chest... now's the time." He silently hoped Eric would not become angry at Hybros' approach.
  13. Hybros glanced at the soon-to-depart heroes. He had hoped he wouldn't be stuck in the Hall much longer, he was getting anxious for adventure.
  14. Hey Happy Birthday! Hope it's a good one.

  15. But it's already been confirmed by Jedi what's-his-face and Clayface, as well as the liaisons between them. Why would anyone try to kill the investigator? Oh, they must be scum. And even if you're claiming those two are behind this, why would the scum risk revealing themselves just to take out one person?
  16. Um, what more do you need? You're comparing "factual evidence" to a claim. Well then, nothing can be factual evidence because you're trusting in someone's claim that it is, in fact, true. Hard, factual evidence is not going to just fall out of the sky that you know 100% is true. Baby Doll's confirmation by the Joker is a one time, extremely rare occasion, and even then she could have been converted. Splitting the vote would be the worst case scenario here, so I'll go with the obvious choice and Vote: Deadshot/Rumble Strike
  17. I think it's clear that the Ventriloquist is scum. Flat out lying about "blocking" someone... if I recall correctly, Doll wasn't even blocked to begin with.
  18. But it's likely that many of the agents hopped on that bandwagon as well. We can't just exclude that possibility.
  19. Hello everyone, I apologize for my absence the other day.... now, down to business. Bane was indeed a criminal... hmmm... I suggest we start with those that hopped on that bandwagon early. There was definitely a group of people who went against the grain yesterday, and while we can't completely trust them I think without substantial evidence they're in the clear for today. I for one, stayed in my room all night, so I have nothing to add to that front. I'm starting to think that we were on the right track yesterday with the Ventriloquist, if perhaps there is any information about him today...?
  20. Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
  21. I agree with all of this talk on limiting the number of artifacts a character can use at a time. Out of everyone's opinion, I think I agree with swils the most. I think two artifacts, regardless of what body part they go on, should be allotted. Right now I think Sandy has it so that it's limited to one per body part (hands, torso, head, etc.), but the most practical and least complicated way would be to limit the artifact count to two. Just my two cents, I do think the other opinions are valid points as well.
  22. Hybros glances at the slug again. "Interesting..." he said in response to De'kra's explanation. "I don't know what makes her evil... I just know she's very cunning. I hope you never have to face her, De'kra, though someone will have to stop her someday." Hybros then reflected on his purpose here. To do good, yes, but how could he with so much evil surrounding Eubric and the nearby lands? Hybros glances at the shade again. What was his purpose? Such confusion... Hybros hoped that De'kra would find answers here.
  23. Hybros nodded. The shade's mind was clearly troubled... though as he new well, all wounds faded with time. "Not well," he responded. "This woman... Wren, her name is. Pure evil. A demon, you might say. She posted the quest, hoping to turn good into evil by forcing us to fight each other, kill other good people... she collected this energy, chaos, she called it. I'm not sure what she'll use it for, but I don't think it's the last we'll be seeing of her. And, I was... held, for a very long time... in a dark place." Hybros silently wondered if he should tell De'kra about his vision in the cell. He was very young, after all. Hybros did not want to frighten the young shade. He also wasn't sure he could trust anyone else with such things...
  24. Yup, I am. Looking forward to playing.
  25. "Yes, but a thief, even if he admits it, is still a thief... and they deceived you. They never admitted that, did they?" Hybros noticed how much De'kra had changed since their last encounter. He had picked up basic language a little more, for one, and also seemed to have a better grasp on his surroundings in general. Hybros also noticed the slug-like creature accompanying the shade, eyeing it with interest.
