  1. QM Note: Tanma: why don't you find out for yourself? I can't answer everything for you.
  2. "How dare you! You trespass on our sacred grounds and then you insult us?! We Rito are proud people, and do not simply resort to ranking ourselves, I assure you that we represent our people. But worry not, for your sinful acts will not go unpunished. Prove yourselves worthy, and then perhaps we shall speak in a more civilized manner." Prepare for battle! 3. I like the healing part of Necromancer as well, I don't think it's overpowered because the strength of an attack/spell/heal largely depends on how many minions it has.
  4. I feel the same way. IMO Natural Respite makes much more sense with the Chi Monk, and the healing with the Alchemist. I do like the craft skill given to the Bombardier, though. EDIT: I noticed that the Chi Monk has both Iron Fist and Spellcasting. Essentially, aren't these the same thing? Plus Chi Monks can't cast spells in battle, so maybe spellcasting could be changed to something else? Just my two cents. Of course someone with a character named Lycan would...
  5. Gimmie! ...Except it wouldn't get me any more gold as an Assassin. In the hands of a Rogue or Raider, though...
  6. A remedy removes any negative effect, so yeah... I'm also curious if taking a Nostrum would counteract the jinxed-effect, and if taking another would make the user lucky.
  7. "Do not try to fool us. We have seen the peril taking place down below. Dastan is in great danger, you are not simply here to visit."
  8. Plus, scrolls only work 50% of the time. If you spent your money on Nostrums and focused on attacking the enemy, you'd deal more damage. But is that what you're trying to measure? I think it's pretty cool that you've gone the road less traveled by being a scroll mage.
  9. QM Note: No problem, I didn't even know you were going to BW. Have an excellent time. Nikolai looks up from his troubled face. "Ah, Nyx, it is good to see another familiar face, although I'm sorry it had to be in times like these... Well then, are we ready? Then let us depart." Nikolai led the party out of Drakencourt. Fortunately no threats were to be seen, it would be at least a while before reinforcements arrived. They headed out on foot for a half-day's travel in the hot sun before arriving at the foot of a huge mountain. "Last we've heard a large settlement of Rito was at the top of this mountain, but with these people you can never be sure. It's our best bet, however, so we must climb." And they did, for several hours until the sun began to set. Finally they were reaching the top of the mountain, when two winged creatures quickly swooped down from above, blocking their path. "Halt! Who goes there?" "These are forbidden lands, and you are trespassing. Turn back now." How will the party respond?
  10. QM Note: We haven't been forcing anyone to do anything, and the same still applies. If you want to read the other quests there's no one stopping you, but there are some who still choose to wait until the end. I would think the latter would enrich the experience, but it's up to you. QM Note: Got it, I've added it to the party list. Now we're just waiting on Nyx to check in, then we can move on.
  11. "You do ask too many questions, little one. I've told you all I know, I do not know or pretend to know the Rito's motives in remaining independent. One can only guess that they don't like the way things are being run around here, but we must ask them for help."
  12. Right, thanks Flitwick and Sandy for pointing this out. I didn't realize this, so no interference to the story was intended. I agree, as I said here. Username MDM: I do like that class, but there are a few changes I would make. - Being immune to earth-based attacks is pretty pointless, IMO. Enemies usually don't have elemental attacks, and when they do a QM would probably find a way around using earth moves. - Eureka seems under-powered and uncharacteristic to me. Classes like the Assassin and Raider can do the same thing, but better. I would suggest changing this somehow. - Your wording on "enemy targets" is a little confusing. Do these attack affect all enemies in battle, or just the enemy targeted for that roll? I do like the Booby Trap move, though.
  13. "I probably don't know much more than you do. The Rito keep to themselves, but are always ready for a fight. They are well-trained in battle, but so much good that does when they won't even speak to us... I am reluctant to approach them because they have completely rejected us in the past, humiliating the emperors. I couldn't tell you how to act, I've never encountered the race myself. That is something you'll have to decipher."
  14. And yes, your reward is being stuck with old me for a QM again...
  15. The Party: Nerwen Calmcacil (played by Chromeknight) Level 9 Cleric Power: 15 Health: 16/16 Ether: 12/12 Gold: 47 Inventory: Peace (Hammer, WP: 6), Wooden Staff (WP:3), Bedroll, Shovel, Potion, 2x Tonic, Remedy, Nostrum, Elixir, Grand Tonic, Venom, Bone, Fire Bomb De'kra (played by Tanma) Level 15 Rogue Power: 20 Health: 21/21 Gold: 124 Inventory: Kapura (WP:5, Fire), Pongcanis Dagger (WP:5, Lightning), Shadeaux Dagger (WP:5), Fauxthril Hand Cannon (WP:5, unsuitable), Cloak of the Blue Assassin(SP: 1), Cloak of the Elven Spy, Bedroll, Pickaxe, Shovel, Magnifying Glass, Venom, 3x Potion, 2x Remedy, Water Bomb, Lightning Bomb, Smoke Bomb, Phoenix Essence, Bone Sarick Lanse (played by Xarrzan) *Party Leader* Level 10 Mage Power: 17 Health: 14/14 Ether: 14/14 Gold: 38 Inventory: Dragon's Wrath (Staff WP: 6), Healing Staff (WP:5, healing effect), Dragon's Heart (WP: 15, Fire/Wind Elemental, Suitable to Knights and Rogues), Opal(Ice), Sapphire(Wind), Topaz(Lightning), Potion, Tonic, Bone, Fire Bomb Xander Unth'or (played by posades) Level 13.5 Barbarian Power: 21 Health: 20/20 Gold: 311 Inventory: Pongcanis Club (WP: 8), Double-Sided Battle Ax (WP:6, Aim), Enigmatic Hammer (WP: 3), Robe of the Pongcanis Champion (WP: 1 Front Row)(SP: 1 Back Row), Potion (2), Grand Potion, Phoenix Essence, Horse (WP: 1 Front Row), Fire Bomb, Skeleton Decoy, 2x Venom, Elven Bomb, Green Potion Nyx (played by Pandora) Level 19 1/2 Battle Mage Power: 32 Health: 29/29 Ether: 24/24 Gold: 0 Inventory: Book of a Thousand Creatures (WP:13, each roll has a 1/6 chance to summon a creature to aid the hero), Dawnstar II (WP: 9), Healing Staff (WP: 5), Shiny Helmet (+1 max health), Ruby (Fire), Amethyst (Darkness), Topaz (Lightning), Sapphire (Wind), Emerald (Wood), Garnet (Earth), Sandman's Parasol, Potion, Remedy, 3 Tonics, 2 Grand Tonics, Holy Bomb, Bedroll, 5 Bones, Wooden Shield (SP:2), Bomb XX, Phoenix Essence, Ether Core, Dragon Scale Nikolai meets up with the heroes at the exit of the courtyard where Constance's funeral was held. He wears a drained expression. "Heroes... I know you mean well, but I am at a loss of what to do. We've killed one of our own, and Emperor Roland is locked up in the palace, guarded by his traitorous men. We cannot get to him, but we are sure he has betrayed us. Refusing to be held for trial means only one thing: death. With all of our men fighting off Lion Knights, we are useless to try to take him down here and now. It won't be long before more of his forces arrive, and we fear that he might put the capitol under siege. We must act quickly." "There is one option, and I hate to resort to it, but we have no choice. The Dragons have resigned, and a large portion of our army remains loyal to Emeraldo. We must ask the Rito for help. They are an old race of Dastan, long cut off from the rule of our emperors. They live on their own, in small villages high in the mountains, and are rarely seen. Heroes: I ask of you, the only ones left in Dastan who can complete this task, appeal to the Rito. Prove yourselves worthy, gain their trust. We need their help to bring Emeraldo to justice, and if there's any hope, save this empire. Please heroes..." Nikolai looks up, distraught.
  16. Sandy could you please explain why you wouldn't accept Werewolf as a job class? I think it's becoming more desirable but now you say you're reluctant to have it in the game...
  17. I have some chrome lightsaber hilts where the chrome has worn off from gripping/ungripping them from minifigure hands. But other than that, all of my chrome pieces are shiny, and they're always exposed to sunlight in my room.
  18. It's also a great offensive class, right next to Barbarian. Plus, it offered the best roleplay opportunities for Hybros. Definitely wish there were more Rangers and Clerics, though.
  19. Yeah, the scorpion is awesome. I also see the phoenix grew. Are you going to roleplay it into your fire spirit?
  20. Great review, Cloney-O. I really like the retro style of this theme, and that shows well with this hot rod hearse. I'm not too fond of the design or pieces though, so I'll pass on this one. I do like the minifigures, though. Out of all the Lego vampires released so far, I still like the CM version best, but the one in this set surpasses the old one you used for comparison.
  21. Sitting alone in the hall for quite some time, Hybros half-listens to some heroes arguing. He was thinking about how he would go from here, now that he was an Assassin. He still did not possess the power to wield wood and earth, but he did have the ability to seek out those who might help him. He knew he had to seek out the Ji Pei. Only they had the technology to find his people. Or perhaps magic would do the job? But he could not rely on such arcane power... at least not yet. He needed much more experience. It was time to confront Reno Bonaparte. Hybros had last seen him at the end of Quest #15, and he had let the pirate-in-disguise escape with the hopes of getting him to form a connection between the imp and the Ji Pei. He had no idea what Reno and the advanced people had in common, or what they were scheming, but that did not concern him. All that mattered was getting to his people, and finding answers. With that, Hybros gathered his things and departed, using his new assassin skills to track down Reno. A long search would lead him to Triad Park...
  22. Well if that's the case then that's fine. Would that be the reason why you wouldn't accept such a class, Sandy?
  23. Thanks for the blank template, Sandy. Now I'm not a photoshop wizard, but here's what I came up with for my Werewolf class.
  24. In light of the new Expert Classes, someone should definitely host a Ji Pei quest. And a Guild of Invision one. We've hardly had any of those and I really want to see Chi Monks and Alchemists. On another note, I just noticed that Szalinski of Quest #28 is the same scientist as in Quest #12 (WBD and Jeb QM'd, respectively). I never realized this, but what a cool crossover. He's not in the NPC index yet, though...
