  1. Yeah Klaus-Dieter is right, keep it for your kids. Let's not forget that LEGO is, in the first place, a toy made for kids. If they have a lot of fun playing with it it somehow it feels better than a hope of adults arguing about how many hundreds of dollars they want to spend on it, and then just put it on a shelf. Dr. Brick
  2. Vestas actually asked you not to sell it? That's a bit, well... If you put this set on ebay, it can be sold for at least $300. Dr. Brick
  3. With a Buzz in our Ears we Play Endlessly - Sigur Rós (that is such a good album ) Sky Blue Sky - Wilco And a lot of Dire Straits! Dr. Brick
  4. This is an interesting theory, so i worte a mail to LEGO asking if they will ever release a farm... I'll post the reply when I get it. Dr. Brick
  5. If TLG would release as an S@H exclusive most of the sets would be sold to an AFOL audience, therefore converting a number of adults to green energy. For Vestas this is only publicity, so it doesn't do the company any harm. And I think we have proven allready that it would sell to adults. If Vestas wan't to keep the rights to themselves, then TLG can still dispose of all the Vestas stickers. But I repeat, if TLC releases this set on S@H it will sell!!! So please TLG, just release it and end all this fuss right now, because if you do release it... ...TLC is happy, they get money and a reputation of involvement in green energy. ...Vestas is happy, they get publicity. ...We are happy, we have the most important set of the year! Dr. Brick
  6. I sent LEGO a mail to ask about the set and said Vestas doesn't want it to be sold... Dr. Brick
  7. Please do a review!!! The hunt begins... Dr. Brick
  8. I don't have photoshop... If someone has the time and wants to try it, you're welcome. PLease let me know the result. Dr. Brick
  9. I can't tell you the exact price (because I use parts that aren't available anymore), but I'm guessing it will be round the €800... So not very cheap. Dr. Brick
  10. Hi everybody! Rerember this? Well I finally managed to connect two modules. It was a hard battle against the computer. Ldd is just to, well... lazy? to contain big models. Oh well, enough complaining. Here's the result: I must say I'm very satisfied with it. I looks much better then just one module. I have a plan in my head for a station building. But I'm afraid LDD won't be able to handle it... What do I do? Please comment, they are allways very usefull . Dr. Brick
  11. If we are to trust Whung's list, which I do trust, I suspect it to be released at the beginning of the year, seeing that most of the sets on that list are january releases... Dr. Brick
  12. And S@H also calls it 'Vestas Product', which is the same as on Whung's list... Let's hope... Dr. Brick
  13. It's possible he only said that to justifie his high prices...
  14. Isn't this a sign that, seeing that LEGO is producing more of the sets, it will be put into mass production? Dr. Brick
  15. Thanks for the good news. You're a lucky man. If you allready know somebody who doesn't want one... Dr. Brick
  16. I have an idea: Sweeney SNOT's barber and Mis. LEGO's Pie Shop: We all know Dr. Inferno needs a hair cut from time to time, but if he goes to the wrong barber, he might be turned into a pie... Dr. Brick
  17. Thanks for the review. I don't like this set... It's waaaay to expensive for what you get. And the building looks, well... weird. I voted 'average'. Nice review though. Dr. Brick
  18. Jippieeee raffle again! Thank you so much for doing these things, they are really cool! I'm in! Dr. Brick

    City '09?

I've heard that thanks to the new system, there are much more possibilitys for electric accesoires. So we may see working train lights, automatich switch track's. Seeing that the rails themselves will still be plastic, TLC is thinking about making more different kinds of tracks. This information was given by an ambassador at LowLUG. Dr. Brick
  20. Will you be in LEGO World during the weekend? That's when I'll be there. (sorry for offtopic) Dr. Brick

    City '09?

I heard that trains will be a separate theme in 2009. On the list there were also things like camper, which could be possible for the summer. Dr. Brick

    City '09?

There will be more Impulse sets including a bbq. Then there would also be a 'Vestas Product' (I wonder what that would be? ) Dr. Brick
  25. This will be interesting. I missed the rock raiders, which I thought was a big mistake. Dr. Brick
