  1. Thanks Zero and Zouave. Well, if there are alot of under 18's, I'm not in trouble! :-D Dr. Brick
  2. Swan45, could you post a picture of the bottom of the baseplate. It seems to be thicker then a LEGO one, and I'm wondering if it is connectable to other pieces at the bottom. Thanks! Dr. Brick
  3. Urgh, it's not LEGO! :-X Is that legally alowed? It's a direct copy isn't it? Are there more sets like this? Thanks for the review though Swan45! It is a good set and I really liked the Islanders. They always made me happy! :-D ;-)
  4. Haha, OK, forget the roller coaster idea. Luckily LEGO makes good quality toys that can resist a draft! :-D Dr. Brick
  5. Thanks *yoda* for the great reviews. I love the airplane, it's really cute. The van needed to grow on me though but you did the trick. I don't like the wheels of the van. They will need replacing. And wouldn't everything have been better if they were completely red? Dr. Brick
  6. I'm sure LEGO would figure something out if they really wanted a roller coaster. It's possible in knex:
  7. Oh I don't mean a shoot-roller coaster. I mean one of those chain lifts, wich go pretty slow and no extreme makeover will be needed. I agree about the base plates and merry-go-rounds. TLC could just make a theme park line with small sets (shops,...), medium sets (merry-go-round, ferris wheel,...) and big sets (roller coasters). A zoo is also a fun idea, maybe we would even get new animals. :-) Dr. Brick
  8. Exams... :-| :-( >:-( *skull* Can't come, sorry guys. Dr. Brick
  9. That's a really cool layout! As Phoinix sais: it's so green! *wub* Mine is a mixture of brown grey and yellowish white. :-X I love the tents, they are much more effective than the set ones made out of cloth. And the schoolbus is sweet. Great work! Dr. Brick
  10. Yes, I had thought about the Rollercoaster Tycoon idea aswell. That would be so good. Rollercoaster Starter Pack This set would include a start hill lift, a round slope down and a looping. The starting hill would work with the new electric system but the rest of track would work on the laws of speed. 8-
  11. Thanks for tutorial and the level stuf, how exiting. :-D Haha, succes! Dr. Brick
  12. Great review legocastlegirl! Thanks! My 10184 is on its way (I hope :-| ), and thanks to you I can't wait for it. Oh well, just makes the set better when it finally arrives! >:-) Dr. Brick
  13. Well actually I still have a few questions :-$ : What is 'vassal'? This seems to be different for every member. How do I insert a picture in a message? Thanks
  14. I don't really like those coast quard sets. They are all to big, except the quad and the jet-ski set. An 8-wide SUV? The helicopter is as wide as an airplane, if you have the old planes it is duble the size... I do like the life raft though. And the boat is nice, but I don't have space for it. The light house is white and orange. I don't think that's normal... *wacko* 8-| I prefer: http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/6414-1.jpg Its maybe pink, but that can be replaced. Well I'll probally like the sets when their time comes. Dr. Brick
  15. Thanks everybody for the lively welcome. A bit more about myself: -I live in Leuven (that's where they make Stella Artois, just look on the bottle ;-)) -I like City, and I do have a brickshelf folder, http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=AlMcBrick, but its a bit out of date... The most interesting folder you will find on it is: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=251751 , a LDraw MOC I am working on. -Dr. Brick comes from Dr. Nick (the simpsons). On my brickshelf folder you will find AlMcBrick, this is a stupid name and I am trying to erase it from every site it is on (so just ignore it) -Besides LEGO I play guitar, study, and dream about LEGO (this normally during the studying... :-P ) Dr. Brick
  16. Ok, this is my first poll!!! X-D SW: Kit Fisto (I'm not really a SW expert but he has cool hair!!!) Castle: Giant Troll Other: Mrs Puff (I have never watched a SB yet, but I just think she looks fun!) *sweet* Mixed: City Captain. Dr. Brick
  17. Hi Everybody, I'm Dr. Brick and I've just registered to Eurobricks. Eurobricks isn't new to me though, I've been using this site as a portal to the wonderfull world of LEGO for over 3 years now. I'm a member of BeLUG and my interests are mostly City, but I enjoy vieuwing set's and MOC's of other themes. I am a TAFOL (a teenage fan of LEGO (is this correct? *wacko* )). I know this is a site for AFOL's but I really enjoy the forums (and actually the whole site) and I couldn't finde any site like EB but directed to TAFOL's. (is there one?) That sort of sorts me out, now I would love to learn you guys. :-D Dr. Brick
