  1. CELEBVI Mini Slave 1 (LDD 4.3.8 - Star Wars: MicroFighters) LXF File ERRORS: Incorrect/missing prints
  2. I would have to disagree with you there. Although they aren't as prominent as they are on my model, they are definitely noticeable. Adding just one antenna looks disproportionately large compared to the width of the tower, and no antennae makes the tower look bare and small, especially after already seeing it with as it is now. Great, thanks.
  3. Wow, that render looks brilliant! Thank you so much, Bobsy! Glad it wasn't too much of an inconvenience for you. About time I got a criticism. I agree with you, but that was the smallest, tightest way of making them without just having a single antennae on top, or without losing them altogether. The shape of the spires isn't as smooth as I'd like, either. They should all get gradually bigger from base to top, but I thought it'd be good enough to just widen the base of each slightly and then use cylindrical bricks on the way up. Thanks for your comment.
  4. I'm not sure if it's acceptable to request here, but does anyone fancy rendering my Jedi Temple MOC and sending it to me? I couldn't get LDD2PovRay working on my laptop. The LXF File can be found in the linked topic. Thanks a lot.
  5. My Jedi Temple MOC can be found here.
  6. My entry: The Jedi Temple. Click here to support it on Cuusoo.
  7. Thank you very much! Cheers, Doc. Obviously re-building all the Architecture sets as 'practice' was a good idea! Thanks a lot, guys! This model is now uploaded to LEGO Cuusoo here. Your support and comments are greatly appreciated! Thank you. I did see a few other Jedi Temple projects there already: mostly playsets, but there was one 'UCS' design that was about a quarter of the size. I hope it doesn't either (though I have already received links to the others, so they're obviously well known). I mentioned 'Architecture' several times in the description, so hopefully people will see it as an original idea and not a copy.
  8. Thank you, Wedge. Thanks a lot! Well that's a few, so I'm nearly there! I'll try uploading it tomorrow then.
  9. : Check out my Jedi Temple MOC for the RotS Community Build

  10. Okay. I'll know for next time, thanks.
  11. Well I don't remember now I've updated them all. If there are any wavy lines in the index, just change them to straight dashes and they should be okay. They'll still link to the right pages.
  12. This is amazing! At first I thought the room was a bit bare, but after looking through all the details, I found I was quite wrong. It's nice to see some of your custom Neimoidians, as well as some new ones like those brilliant guards! Obviously that isn't Nute Gunray in the corner then? Just his twin brother? Some very clever ideas there like the ray shields, camera droid and the fish (), and it's good to see you included the Federation logo lots of times as well. Great MOC, Penguin!
  13. Thanks a lot, Masked! I really appreciate it! Thank you. I started with the stairs and base, and worked up from there. I had a rough idea of how I was going to build the ziggurat and what parts I'd use (2x2x3 slopes!) even then. It's a shame because LDD can often, in some ways, make much more realistic MOCs than you'd be able to in real life, what with all the parts and colours available. Hopefully as the rendering becomes much more attractive and convincing, digital MOCs will start to become more popular. Thanks for your comments! Thank you! Just pretend one of the outer black tiles has 'Jedi Temple' printed on it. Definitely! If anyone wants to build it, just ask, because I too would love to see it built with real bricks! Thank you. Unfortunately, the tower detail came at the expense of making them too big, but the trade-off was worth it, I think. Cheers! I noticed some bumpy/spotted tiling on the temple roof, so using normal studded plates seemed like the best solution to me. I am a fan of smooth surfaces in MOCs, but a few studs never go amiss! Thanks. Glad you like it. No worries! That is a LONG time to wait for a render, so someone else is welcome to do it. No, I'm not signed up to it, but I suppose I could submit it if you guys think it's worth it and will get support. Ta!
  14. Thank you very much, Penguin! I'm so pleased you like it. Haha thank you! I'm sure inspiration will come to everyone soon and we'll get a great collection of creations, but you should watch the film again for ideas if not. I absolutely refuse to add those ridiculous flick-fire missiles to my building, no matter how much it'd make it look like an official set! I saw another Temple MOC that contained a multi-leveled interior, which was nice, but it has been done and it would distract from the more grown-up, display-only style if I was to add play features, I feel. Thanks. I considered it, but thought it was too complicated to bother with. After reading your comment, I tried downloading the programs and installing them correctly and then tried to run the render, but it didn't work and I've decided it's too difficult for me to keep attempting. However, you're welcome to render it yourself and send the image to me if you have the means. Well I am quite experienced with LDD, so it was pretty quick and easy as far as my MOCcing goes. I'm looking forward to seeing what you and everyone else contribute to the Community Build. I haven't really considering making any other entries, but if I have any more ideas, similar to this entry or not, I might make and post a second.
  15. Well I know some were in LDD 4.1, but I don't know about all of them. In any case, they're all updated and listed above to make it easier by having them in one place.
  16. I've updated all of my Architecture sets (21000 Sears Tower, 21001 John Hancock Center, 21002 Empire State Building, 21003 Seattle Space Needle, 21004 Solomon Guggenheim Museum and 21005 Fallingwater here; 21006 The White House here; 21007 Rockefeller Center here; 21009 Farnsworth House here; 21008 Burj Khalifa and 21011 Brandenburg Gate here; and 21010 Robie House, 21100 Shinkai 6500 Submarine and 21012 Sydney Opera House here) to LDD 4.2. I've also updated/corrected some of the set names, so please keep that in mind when updating the index.
  17. Hello everyone. It seems the inspiration for my Revenge of the Sith Community Build entry came far quicker than it did for The Phantom Menace Build, and it didn't come at all for the Attack of the Clones Build (), so I set to work straight away when the idea came to me last night. Over the past week I've been rebuilding and updating my Architecture sets for the Eurobricks Official Set LXF Index, and so I suppose I was still in that frame of mind whilst deciding on what I would build for this project. I therefore decided to combine two of my favourite LEGO themes: Star Wars and Architecture, and create the Jedi Temple in the style of a LEGO Architecture set. It is, of course, much bigger and less accurate () than any previously released Architecture sets, (though I'm pleased to say that I think it may be more accurate than some past Star Wars sets ), but I still think it fits the theme well enough. Even though it's a digital model and the Laws of Physics don't have to apply, I tried to build the model in a way that made it structually sound enough to be built with real parts, although many are not available in the colours I used anyway. The building is hollow with no interior, save for a few supports. A close-up of the top and spires. A close-up of the main entrance. -------------------- Front and plan views with part outlines. I spent a couple of hours last night and a few hours today making it, so it is a quick MOC, but hopefully not rushed and sloppy. It is comprised of 2424 parts (coincidentally 24 is my favourite number! ). I'm aware that the scale is not right in certain areas: the ziggurat is probably too tall for its width, and the towers on top are probably too large, and so I may modify it a little more before the deadline, so I'll consider it a WIP for the time being. LXF File Please do not use the file or images without my permission. Thank you for looking. All comments are welcome. PS. This model is now uploaded to LEGO Cuusoo here. Your support and comments are greatly appreciated!
  18. Sign me up! Hopefully I'll get round to making an entry this time!
  19. Ad-Hoh attacks Akkaba Mage (Human) from the back row with Darkness.
  20. Ad-Hoh thanks Thormana for the heal and uses his second ether core.
  21. 21014 Villa Savoye (LDD 4.3.5 - Architecture) LXF File ERRORS: Missing print 10228 Haunted House (LDD 4.2 - Monster Fighters) LXF File ERRORS: Replaced parts 90981 with brick-built solution, 95225 with 98725, x438 with 55630, butler headgear with 30608 and ghost shroud with 2588 Incorrect/missing prints Collision error between parts 6064 and 43888 (Book 1, p81)
  22. Ad-Hoh removes his mask before continuing his assault on T'wan Ti.
  23. "Sorry, Elgar? Are those supposed to be questions, and spoken in English?" "In that case, I shall also attack the Level 20 Akkaba Mage (Human) from the back row with Darkness."
  24. Ad-Hoh feels an emotion close to, but not quite fear. He is a hero, and is by definition fearless, but these were some frightening opponents... Ad-Hoh throws his holy bomb in an attempt to damage these ghoulish apparitions.
  25. Excellent work, Penguin. Though I'm not familiar with the characters (apart from the first), they all look very true to their reference images. My only major faults would be that the flesh colour on Claire and Steve look far too light, if not white, though that may just be a problem with the photographs. Alice's eyes also look a little strange. All other paintwork is superb, however. I especially like Alfred and the doctor. Great work.
