Don't forget his posting after the day had ended yesterday. And mostly to argue with Bristol, no less! I know focusing on this kind of thing earlier was not a good idea, but this time I think it's different. Michael's partner definitely appears to be female.
-
Hmm, I don't especially buy Michael's claim, though as has been said, I don't know what he hopes to gain by lying to us, other than Bristol's death, which doesn't seem as harmful to the rest of us as you'd expect, given her attitude. If I recall correctly, there was history and a strongly placed vote between the two of them yesterday, which I assume is somehow linked to this revelation. I find it hard to believe that there are so many non-Innocents among us, but maybe the captain wanted to make more of a multi-faction game. If Michael and his accomplice are part of a neutral cult whose win condition is to obtain the diamond; which they have already done; surely they have won and lynching them will not matter, or am I missing something? If Bristol is actually Innocent, a less harmful way to test Michael's story would be to lynch him, no? Since we can throw votes around, I might as well: Vote: Michael (badboytje88) for the time being... What's that about? Obviously something has happened which the host doesn't like, and I'm guessing it was Michael that did it, which makes me want to believe him...

Well I feel foolish. My apologies. Your comment just stuck out more to me. [claps] Someone's catching up! I had to say that sarcastically because that has been so obvious for a long time now. To make it a bit clearer, here is a list of surviving crew and passengers that have apparently not been confirmed Innocent: Betty (Passenger) - Played by Waterbrick Down/Ferrik Bill (First Officer) - Played by Capt. Redblade Bristol (Lounge Singer) - Played by Peanuts George (Passenger) - Played by The Legonater Holly (Passenger) - Played by Nightshroud99 Jack (Medical Officer) - Played by Piratedave84 Michael (Passenger) - Played by badboytje88 Phil (Passenger) - Played by Rufus Richard (Passenger) - Played by ADHO15 Stacy (Cruise Director) - Played by Sandy Susan (Passenger) - Played by TinyPiesRUs Thomas (Passenger) - Captain Genaro Timothy (Passenger) - Played by Palathadric And those that have: Alice (Passenger) - Played by Rumble Strike Barbara (Passenger) - Played by Def Diane (Passenger) - Played by TrumpetKing67 Lauren (Lifeguard) - Played by Scubacarrot Mary (Passenger) - Played by TheBoyWonder Like Barbara said, a few of those will be neutral/Innocent, but, as of yet, unidentified by the majority. EDIT: Barbara should NOT be on a list of 'confirmed Innocents'. My mistake. More 'confirmed not Scum'.

Not that vigilante is and English word. And the fact that they're bald more commonly implies male, so I agree with you. I was simply noting that the killer's gender is still uncomfirmed, and so calling them 'Mr' may not be correct.
-
What do you mean? I did not think English words had genders. We are a mix of male and female here, and so the vigilante could be either male or female. Calling them Mr Necksnapper implies one knows that they are male.
-
I am guessing 'Mr. Necksnapper' was just a slip of the tongue? They could always be female. Matthew could have any role, or none at all. Apparently, there are no clues in the pictures, so we cannot know for certain; and even if he did have a role, a blocker, bodyguard, etc. could fit. He could even have been an investigator that beats information out of people. Who knows? Then why did they not kill another lynch candidate on the first night? That would have been far more sensible and helpful than taking a shot in the dark... or a swing of an axe in the dark. Completely disproven at last! This is true, although I find your theory unlikely. She could prove helpful with her supposed investigation-like action, and we shall see if she brings anything up today, but with her being neutral and under suspicion from Johnathan, a proven Innocent, lynching her would not be the worst idea...
-
You will be missed, Johnathan. I am sorry for ever doubting you. Two Scum down in one night is an excellent result! So either the neck snapper is our vigilante who had been tipped off about Paul being a thief, or he is a serial killer who targetted the somewhat quiet Paul and 'accidentally' helped us. I am hoping the first. The fact that scummy lying Pierre was a thief makes it more likely that Barbara's tracker was telling the truth, and so both could be more trustworthy now. There are still other interpretations of what happened though, so it is certainly not concrete.
-
So why don't you offer her up and we can gage her reaction and hear her explanation? That seems like pretty important info.
-
Like I said: "Of course, like I admitted, my point is still invalid if you truly did only get all of your information in the last few hours." At the time, most people, including yourself, were deciding on whether to vote for Alice or Mary. You and Barbara trying to wind each other up was distracting from that. Of course it pays off now because of Barbara's claim as neutral. So fine, your suspicions were right, well done; but at the time it just seemed like a clash of egos. I don't know why anyone bothers trying to theme these games. I'm not lazy, I just can't find non-existant BS. You mean the fact that Mary voted when you prompted her to? I'd hardly call that 'further evidence'. And you cannot talk. You're constantly asking for people to quote things to you, such as whilst I'm trying to get this post out. Man down. No need to get aggressive over such trivial things. Try some patience. I can think of several times, and all the more reason for this to be one of those times. If neutrals are always serial killers, I wouldn't be surprised if Bob was trying to be original by making neutrals with other objectives.
-
Overdramatic much? People might find it easier to trust you and follow your words if you weren't so aggressive and sarcastic towards them. Of course not that. I do not care about that. I could say the exact same, it does not make it true. What I meant was that you should have said was 'hang on, Alice no longer appears to be my top priority. I've just had word that X is claiming tracker/targetted Scott last night/whatever'. Of course, like I admitted, my point is still invalid if you truly did only get all of your information in the last few hours. I don't. Well you're hardly going to admit to it, are you? But we didn't know that at the time, and apparently neither did you, since you only learned all of your information in the past few hours, so you can hardly use that as an excuse. Testing gut feelings or defending against her suspicions I'll accept, but you can't have been pressing her knowing she was a neutral. Mary is female, and the 'evidence' against her is that she apparently misread her passenger number and then later changed it when the timing was convenient. PS. About my third quote: remind me, what 'further evidence' against Mary was that?
-
Of course not. I meant you should have brought up these revelations as they developed, assuming most of your conversations regarding these three roles happened during last night and earlier today, and not since recapping your views on Alice. I thought it unlikely that all three came to such a convenient level of certainty at the same time and this late into the day. You were distracting in your arguments with Babs when it seemed unlikely that you were considering her for voting so long as Alice was around (I'm not saying Babs wasn't to blame for this, perhaps even more so than you). And then what I assumed were further distractions by stating your suspicions of Alice, knowing that a neutral and two potential murderers of Scott were soon about to be revealed to the group. Thank you for pretty much repeating and re-wording everything I just said. Hear, hear!
-
So, Johnathan, you have spend all day stating your strongly felt case against Alice and now you suddenly have so much new information and your suspicions of Alice have been dropped now that voting has begun? How do you justify that? Lauren is right: it is only 'real information' if you believe Johnathan, and so far he has done nothing to earn my trust, merely begun a voting bandwagon against an innocent and done a lot of distracting and switching of ideas.
-
No one is asking you to, but you should not have signed up if you do not have the time. Agreeing to the time commitments means that you can follow along somewhat regularly throughout the day and contribute where possible/appropriate, and not just getting in your one or two require posts each day. I assume that if we did have one, they found something worth reporting and intended to do so, we would have heard from them in some way already, but sure, I'll wait. In the meantime, my vote stands.
-
Fair enough, I agree with that. I looked back over Alice's inputs from yesterday just before you posted your recap and I definitely see where you're coming from. She did not seem to bring up anything new following her reflections on the day's discussion, but merely summarised once again and reworded the ideas of others. You are more experienced than Alice, however, and I am not certain that this behaviour exhibited by Alice implicates her as much as you feel it does, particularly on Day One. Mary has done very little today, which is not unlike her, but could be an attempt to lie low and wait for the suspicion built up around her yesterday to dissipate and for eyes to fall upon a different target instead. To put it mildly, her defence failed to impress me yesterday and since nothing was acted upon in the meantime regarding her suspicious behaviour, I once again... Vote: Mary (TheBoyWonder)
-
Was it not talk like this that made you suspicious of Alice in the first place? Several times, in this and other situations, have I seen you expressing a quick comment that you will return later when you have time or once you have further been over the facts/discussion. I am not saying this is scummy behaviour especially, but fail to see how you can call Alice out on it when you often do the same. Calm down, Johnathan! We may be dressed like it, but we are not cannibals! EDIT: Butt out host! Stop stealing my bit!
-
Presumably that was simply because I was one of the main people hammering on at her yesterday and calling her out as a liar, and then one of the first to vote for her. I can't imagine she was pleased with that. But a little extra concentration would go a low way, Johnathan. Like Paul said, there have been a lot of slip-ups today and you saw what Jordan's mistakes and forgetful attitude cost him... we would hate to lose any more innocents over such flimsy reasons. @Babs: how did you get that incriminating picture of me?!
-
Okay... that puts an end to that discussion! In that case, I do not see a good reason why Mary should not be lynched today after all of the suspicion that was cast upon her yesterday and then not acted on.
-
You did not think it was a good idea to check when many of us were commenting on how random and unusual your set was? Instead you just found a link to that set. In my opinion that is almost as careless as forgetting your own name. Now you are trying to throw the suspicion off yourself and onto someone else. I do not like your defence, and I stand by my vote. @Jack: I do not think the building contest will happen today, but was planned to be another of these 'themed daily activities'.
-
I do too. At least it is not the only Space-themed set. I guess we shall have to wait until said contest to find out the reason.
-
I think it's hard not to see scum in Mary. As I said earlier, I am really unconvinced that your 'mistake' was indeed down to you misreading your number. I find it highly unlikely that such a mistake could be possible and the timings of giving and amending your passenger ID just add to the suspicion around it. So I too shall... Vote: Mary (TheBoyWonder)
-
I don't at all. You weren't the only one, and I considered keeping mine to myself, but I know I'm innocent and have nothing to hide, and so I avoided casting suspicion on myself be keeping quiet. And I am not calling you a liar, but once you had seen the pattern forming you could have easily given a fake theme in order to blend into the crowd, so that does not particularly prove your innocence. But you can hardly blame me either for voicing a suspicion, never mind calling me 'evil' for doing so. You have to admit the set themes pushed the boundaries of coincidence. Everybody does, but your timing was beautiful, if you do not mind me saying; it does not help your case at all. Your 'mistake' has made you even more suspicious to me now.
-
Oh, how convenient!
-
I would hardly call it evil, Miss, merely trying to make use of an uncommon potential lead so early in this situation. I am glad that the use of the numbers has been explained and we now have good reason not to vote against those with non-Town set IDs. And not meaning to 'defend' myself with an accusation, but you shouldn't ignore those who thought it better to be secretive and hide their information from the group so early on either, such as yourself.
-
I was originally looking for one that spelt 'scum' on a telephone dial pad. You make some good points, Lauren.
