  2. Thank you. Could you add my tri-fighter one too. Also, could you tell me how to add a vote so you don't need to keep doing it. Thanks.
  3. Check this link (see the 3rd picture down on the left) Thanks for the comment.
  4. (03.02.09) This is my third review. It features: Product: 7200 Final Duel I Theme: Star Wars No of pieces: 29 Release Date: 2002 RRP: USD $6.99 Featured Episodes: ROTJ Lego "Shop at Home" Catalog Description This is the set. It consists of the two figs as well as the Emperor's swivel chair on a 6x6 base. It uses the TIE cockpit as his window. As you can see, the normal Darth Vader is included along with a rare Palpatine, only previously released in the Imperial Shuttle. This Palpatine has yellow hands, however. A closer look at the chair and window. You can see control panels on the arms for the Emperor to use. The Emperor watching the Battle of Endor out of his window. An average set, in my opinion. I can't see why anyone would buy it for any other reason than for the figs. The set is very basic indeed and best used to recreate the Final Duel scene when accompanied by 7201. I bought it in InStore for £2 which was worth it for the Palpatine fig. The new design from the 10188 Death Star will hopefully be resold in a smaller set like this soon. Design: 5/10 - A very simple design but the chair looks accurate. Minifigs: 7/10 - A cheap way to get Vader and the rare Palpatine fig (unique with yellow hands). Playability: 4/10 - Not much to do with the set at all, just put Palpatine in his chair. Best to combine it with Final Duel II. Swooshability: n/a - Not a vehicle. Overall: 5.3/10 - An accurate calculated score. See the gallery here. KimT, you can add it to the index if you like. I made it to fill the gap. Also, you may add a vote to it and give any more suggestions.
  5. Academy? Its the second review I have made and posted. My third will be put on soon. I picked it up for £10 at my local Toys'r'us. It has more pieces than the battlepacks tend to have and looks pretty accurate so I thought "why not?" (Not really. I was young and wanted all the sets!) Thank you all for your comments.
  6. We only got light snow in the north-west. About 5cm deep.
  7. Ha! Did you read the first post?
  8. (02.02.09) This is my second review. It features: Product: 7252 Droid Tri-Fighter Theme: Star Wars No of pieces: 148 Release Date: 2005 RRP: USD $14.99 Featured Episodes: ROTS Lego "Shop at Home" Catalog Description The droid. TLG added the opening ball function to give the basic set some playability. Although not much, it does mean you can keep the buzz droid with the set so it doesn't get lost. I might also occupy kids for 2 minutes. The only fig in this set is a buzz droid made from thirteen pieces. Like many people, I thought this droid looked very inaccurate and removed the legs and saw to make it look better. The printed domes are a nice touch that gives it some detail. TLG included some very nice printed bricks (the 2 parts that make the central ball and the 2x1 dark blue pieces) as well as some stickers (the CIS logos and the black 'join'). The droid with the ball open to take the buzz droid out or put it back in. The buzz droid safely shut away in its ball. The back of the droid showing the three detailed engines. The front of the droid. You can see its main gun in the middle and the three others on the wings. A picture to compare the LEGO design with the 'real' thing. I think it is a good set with a good price/parts ratio. It would later be included in the Ultimate Space Battle set and the buzz droid also rereleased in the Ahsoka's Starfighter set this year. It looks good for display too as it has an accurate design and goes well with Confederacy Vulture Droids (also first released in 2005 with a remake this year). Design: 9/10 - A superb design to create the sleek and curved look. A bit bare but still great. Minifigs: 6/10 - Only one brick-built minifig that many people don't like. Also, the buzz droid is not unique to this set. Playability: 6/10 - Not much to do with the set apart from swooshing and taking the buzz droid out of the ball. Swooshability: 9/10 - Small, strong and easy to move around. Overall: 7.5/10 - An accurate calculated score. See the gallery here. KimT, you can add it to the index if you like. I made it to fill the gap. Also, you may add a vote to it and give any more suggestions.
  9. They were in the 7260 Wookiee Catamaran. I thought they suited this walker better than their ISP.
  10. I have more Phase 1 clones as troops and so I use Phase 2 clones in vehicles. Thanks to you especially for giving me the idea in the first place.
  11. KimT, you can add it to the index if you like. I made it to fill the gap. Also, you may add a vote to it and give any more suggestions. Thank you. I'll do another soon.
  12. Thank you all for your comments. I have put the other pair of trans-orange slopes there but I could improve that further. I know it could look much better but it was only supposed to be made from the battlepacks. I will, however, continue to mod it and make it look better. Thanks again. Any more tips are welcome.
  13. (01.02.09) This is my first review. It features: Product: 4477 T-16 Skyhopper Theme: Star Wars No of pieces: 96 Release Date: 2003 RRP: USD $14.99 Featured in: AOTC, ANH & ROTJ Lego "Shop at Home" Catalog Description The vehicle. TLG included extra guns on the wings that aren't seen in the movies. Also, it has many blue and black bricks showing that shouldn't be there but gives the model variety from just grey. The unique and detailed pilot looks very good, even though he isn't seen in the movies. He has goggles printed on his head like the Imperial Scout Trooper. There are a few nice printed pieces included, back before there were no stickers! The cockpit and the cargo hold just behind. The 'dorsal fin' is rotated back to open it up (you can see the black bricks that do this). It is a bit inaccessible, the vehicle has to be turned upside down to get things out. The pilot in his cockpit waving at you. You can see his little computer screen in front of him. The back of the vehicle showing the engine and the 8x1 white brick holding the wings in position. The main gun can be found underneath the vehicle. I think it is a very good set for the time it was released. I picked it up on holiday in Spain for 10 Euros (£6 GBP at the time) which was worth it. I think it's a shame LEGO no longer makes small sets with 1 fig like this anymore, apart from battlepacks. It is, like the description suggests, a set that can be bought multiple times as it is cheap and contains only one generic fig. Design: 8/10 - Very close to the correct design but has a few odd bricks and not as smooth as it would be if it was made today. Minifigs: 7/10 - Although he is a very well-designed fig, he is the only one included. (Maybe a bit generous.) Playability: 5/10 - Not much to do with the set apart from swooshing or 'racing with friends'. Swooshability: 9/10 - Small, strong and easy to move around. Overall: 7.25/10 - An accurate calculated score. See the gallery here.
  14. Ok then. Second try. I followed the tutuorial KimT suggested which was very helpful. Thanks again for the link. The walker could look better with more modding but the whole point is it is made from mostly the battlepack. Check out the gallery here. The pictures are still a little blurry but that's the best my camera will do. They don't look too bad. You can see it is just two walkers from the battlepack fused at the middle, legs turned the same way and the guns & missiles at the front. There is one 2x2 square underneath for supporting the middle. This picture shows the missile array and the pilot waving at you. Here are the guns at the front. I added the lightsaber hilt to make the guns look better. The walker has space for 4 figs or 2 figs and cargo space for guns and my custom-made jetpack. And finally, it is sent into battle with Yoda and some troops. (Sorry for the bad background) Again, any comments or criticisms are welcome.
  15. It's still a problem for me as I don't have Cartoon Network. I'll just have to keep watching them on YouTube. This thread doesn't really belong on the Star Wars Lego page but thanks for the info nonetheless.
  16. We established that it wouldn't be those because the helmets don't go on when the troopers are wearing them. I'm not sure which are older or newer. It isn't the first time TLG has given us a brick-built jetpack, there was an unusual one in the Clone Turbo Tank. The boxes in the Toy Fair pics were definitely preliminary but that doesn't mean they're older. I'm confused!
  17. I agree. However, I will probably buy the shuttle and Venator in summer and the Endor battle, Hoth set and snail tank in autumn. The Y-Wing is too big and expensive that won't benefit me ship or fig-wise. By the way, an IG-227 Hailfire-class Droid Tank is the one with big wheels and missiles. The Corporate Alliance NR-N99 Persuader-class Enforcer is the one due to be released in summer.

  19. Ok. Thanks for the link. I'll retake and resize them tomorrow.
  20. Funny. It is my first time. Could you tell me how to resize? That's not because I'm lazy and want you to do the work for me, it's because the only way I found was by using MS Paint which this computer doesn't have.
  21. Oh really. Which hat looks closer to the fig on this pic? Nute Gunray or Lok Durd Also, Palpatine was probably put in the Venator with his Senate Commandos because it sounds like Home One one the vote and so they included these figs in the Venator.
  22. Something like this: mod I read this post and decided to have a go myself. Sorry for the blurry pics. The only extra parts I used were two 2x2 squares underneath for strength and a lightsaber hilt to extend the top gun. edit: oversized pics snipped You can see there is possible room for 4 figs between the pilot and gunner but I am storing their guns there. edit: oversized pics snipped Criticism or improvements welcome. EDIT: Thanks to CopMike for his help with the pics.
  23. Nute Gunray is in the Separatist Shuttle. He has been in more films and more CW episodes than Lok Durd who dresses nothing like the fig. Someone simply pointed out he looked a little like LoK Durd, not we are definitely getting him instead. EDIT: I'll add my wants: Any unreleased CW characters like Jedi or Clone commanders. A new Padmé.
  24. Could you post pics or a description because I bought two and wanted to make a bigger walker. I'm not a good MODder so didn't attempt it. This could be something interesting rather than just a brief statement.
  25. I'd rather they made him with an extended LEGO head like in the game than put something on top. My views: I think the Hoth turret is much worse than the one in the Hoth Rebel Base but the bunker, tauntaun and big gun are good as are the figs so it's not such a big issue. The Y-Wing looks good but is too big and expensive for me. Plus the poor fig choice, in my opinion. The shuttle looks really small but looks accurate-shaped. Nute Gunray looks good but I don't really like Farr's multi-green head. The Endor rebels and R2 are disappointing so I hope they change them but I like the new AT-ST. Hope to see pictures of the other sets soon.
