I don't know if this has been mentioned already but the 8016 Hyena Droid Bomber, 8017 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter, 8018 Armoured Assault Tank and 8019 Republic Attack Shuttle are available for pre-order on Amazon.com for those of you in the US. Hyena Droid Bomber priced at $19.99 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter at $29.99 Armoured Assault Tank at $49.99 Republic Attack Shuttle at $59.99 All will be released on January 1st 2009. No sign of the battle packs or Ahsoka's fighter. (Don't be put off by the picture of Darth Vader's TIE Fighter, it is the LEGO set if you read the description)

I was thinking about the detachable speeder in the AAT. I thought it may be awkward to put the pilot droid in from the top or back so there may be a seat or platform like in the MTT or AT-TE that pulls out to put the droid on. TLC may have just dressed it up to look like a separate speeder, like Maul's bike that fits in the back of the Scimitar. This is just another idea other than having a STAP or whatever hidden in the back.

I posted that picture ages ago. I'll only put one in the cockpit as I'll only have the one pilot.

Actually, the clone in the battle pack is a Clone Artillery Gunner (can be seen on the guns), not an AT-TE Commander. (Pic in video at 4:21) They have similar armour but the AT-TE Commander has no gold helmet whereas the Artillery Gunner does.

I think you mean Saesee Tiin. Stass Allie was on Saleucami, about to be killed by Commander Neyo. I think a Palpatine's Arrest set without the two new Jedi isn't worth having. Sales would be much higher if they included them.

They all say 2009 after so I would imagine Christmas next year. Most of these sets seem possible but the figs in the 'Palpatine's Arrest' set don't look too good. Those in the 'Millenium Falcon' and 'Slave I & Carbonite Chamber' sets are incorrect and this list is not turning out to be too convincing for me, as much as I'd like it to be real.

Yeah, we saw this picture ages ago and discussed Yoda's grey hair, the new Super Battle Droids and the old battle droid arms. Have you all been ignoring this post for the last one or two months? ps. I'm also having trouble accessing that picture.

Has there been any news on the MINI sets I found at Target.com? Have any been found in stores or has anyone bought any? Just wondering seeing as there are no Target stores here in the UK so I can't have a look.

When I found it first said: Death Star with 20+ minifigs (before pics were released) I posted that here and everyone said 'Wiki's unreliable and no set has had that many before. That's wrong!' But then look what happened... I'm not even 100% they're US$ and I hope they're not true is they are. Mind you, I could buy them from the US, seeing as the exchange rate is so low it's like a half price sale.

If you look closely (here) at the near guns, you can see a black cone-shaped brick that are usually the 'heads' of the flick-fire missiles. It's just between the guns and the blue end of the 'arm'.

Great find JimboJones! I love the new Yoda and the tank looks excellent. There may be space under the hinged, curved piece on top for the second battle droid and a door at the back for a STAP or speeder.

I don't collect MINIs but they all look really good. Good job!

Soulless One is Grievous' personal Belbullab-22 Starfighter. Does anyone know if the sets are based on scenes from the film or series? The AAT looks like it could be from 'Ambush' (the first episode of the series) but it has Christophsis on the box.

They sell small cheap ones to try and get people interested and buy the system sets.

I've found some more at Target.com that I don't think has been mentioned already. LEGO Star Wars Mini Impulse Sets There is a mini V-19 Torrent Fighter and a mini Soulless One. It says they are available in Target stores but not online. I don't collect minis and in my opinion, these don't look very good. Enjoy

Not really. I don't think there is much they can do to improve them. I just took the legs and saw off mine and it looks ok. Lets hope they put them on Shop@Home in a month then!

I think that may just be some error or the lighting. The same clone in the minifig box in the top-right doesn't have any torso markings. I too am annoyed with LEGO's constant updates of the vulture droid. I have 3 different types already and then they make a fourth. I'd like them to stay with the Trade Federation and CIS versions they have now and include them in future sets.

Here are the comparisons between the LEGO models and the vehicles from the film: The Republic Attack Shuttle Film LEGO In my opinion, LEGO could have made a much more accurate representation of this ship. However, the model looks good and I will probably buy it (as long as it's not too expensive). The Armoured Assault Tank Film LEGO A much better comparison, I think, than the shuttle. Good job TLG! My favourite set and a definite buy! Also, I was watching the 3rd Clone Wars Episode on youtube and saw the new Super Battle Droid in a preview of the 4th episode. Here it is for comparison with the minifig (go to about 2:06) I'm starting to want a Clone Wars Y-Wing with the new 'Shadow Squadron' pilots in and Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter to go with them now I've seen that episode. Hope this post was worth something to someone.

As Stealth Hunter says, it says Mini Building Set so it refers to the Brickmaster Mini. A picture of it can be found on the first page.

I just 'Googled' it. Normally I link to Wikipedia but get shouted down a lot. The only other set it has is the Hyena Droid Bomber as JimboJones pointed out. I like the new Mace and Yoda, they fit with the other Clone Wars characters and their looks suit their own. I agree. The interior will probably be similar to that of the Imperial Landing Craft. My thoughts exactly when I first saw the picture.

44 GBP for that! The similar 7256 Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid from 2005 was only about 20 pounds! Lets hope that rumour is wrong! Not a bad looking set, however.

Ahsoka's Fighter could be the CW Y-Wing as she and Anakin fly one sometime in the series, I think.

The pirate tank was on the very first list we found.
