I agree. Those ships do not need to be redesigned, in my opinion. I'd like a Padmé's Yacht set too with a new Padmé, Death Star-style C-3PO and Clone Wars Jar Jar.
-
Can you please pay attention. This has been mentioned earlier on in this page and on the LEGO Star Wars page!!! In the words of KimT:
-
Yeah. They're similar to this bike. Just a few changes on the front, back and colour and it would fit in well with the set. It could also be an excuse to throw another Weequay pirate in (one to pilot the tank and another to ride the bike).
-
I know. That's why I posted it. I think if there is a bike it will be more like the one in 7113 Tusken Raider Encounter than the one in the RGS.
-
I think this will probably be the Pirate Tank set (for those of you who don't/can't watch the Clone Wars series). I predict it will come with Jar Jar Binks, 1 or 2 clone troopers and 1 or 2 Weequay pirates. Maybe a pirate speeder bike too.

We have a rumoured but not confirmed list of 3 battle droids, Nute Gunray and Onoconda Farr. It means Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser 8039 Pieces: 1169 Minfigs: etc.
-
Well you've certainly changed your tone! I agree. With a higher piece count like this, I think there could be a good interior and playability factors included. But the space battle isn't included in the set, is it? And he didn't fight in the battle, he was duelling on the Death Star.
-
I found this description on MOCpages. I don't know how reliable it is but it suggests a much more reasonable price. I just thought you'd like to know.
-
Luke wasn't present during the Battle Of Endor and I guess LEGO thought we'd had enough of Luke in OT sets - which I have!
-
It's alright. Minis aren't my thing so I wouldn't buy them anyway. The Mini Soulless One was the first set I've discovered so I was just asking about it! Thanks anyway!
-
Do you mean Whorm Loathsome? Are you sure it wasn't Onononda Farr, the Rodian Senator? What figs are included in the Tank Droid?
-
Yes. Sorry, I meant the Endor bunker. I suppose you're right. It'll no doubt contain computers and things for the Death Star Trooper.
-
Thanks for answering my questions ForceMaster. Sorry, but I have more questions Is the bunker a whole building or just a door like the Hoth Base? What playability factors can you see on the Separatist shuttle and is there a cockpit? What figs are included? What about the NR-N99 Tank Droid, Home One Cruiser and Mid-scale Falcon? Have you seen them? Thanks again. I'll try to stop bothering you now.
-
I've not been following this thread so I don't know if this question has been recently answered but has anyone seen anyhting of the mini Soulless One and V-19 I found on the Target website? Has anyone bought them or seen them in stores at all?

Relating back to the discussion about a Star Wars themed Medieval Market Village set, I'd like to see an improved LEGO design of the Mos Eisley Cantina. I think TLG could make a good Mos Eisley scene about the same size as the Market Village. It could have a small door like the Jabba's message set where you could hide the new C-3PO and R2-D2 (Death Star versions) from a stormtrooper on his dewback. Also the cantina could open out to allow play inside and include a couple of booths with chairs and tables and a bar. The bartender of the LEGO Star Wars game could be included as well as a Jawa or a Bith musician. New Han, Luke, Chewie and Ben from the Death Star would be included too as well as any other aliens. Maybe a market stall to go outside. I think this could be a really good OT set that many fans would like to see. I would estimate the price to be a bit over that of the Market Village as it would hopefully be a bit bigger than it. Just a thought anyway...

Have you seen the Pirate Tank and Echo Base? What do they include? Do you agree with The Penguin's descriptions? What's the Separatist Shuttle and Snail Tank like?
-
I think he means the gap at the bottom of the slope, beneath the bridge, where the 'nose' connects. Personally, I like the ship and the selection of minifigs included. I don't think it is the best representation but the mini venator is too stubby compared to the real thing so TLG may not be too bothered how long it should be. I'm not bothered about scale too much and I think there will be good playability factors inside. I doubt there are anymore hidden minifigs inside.

I'd have to disagree with your point. The Munificent-class Battleships are seen more but the Malevolence and Invisible Hand are better known. Also, we see the interior of these ships so TLC will be able to make more playability in a set like this. I'd say the Providence-class starship was more structurally-sound than the Munificent as it is just one long ship unlike the other that has 'wings' and an unusual shape. I would't really care if LEGO made any of these ships... I'd buy any!
-
Good ideas, Bricks. I'd like to see those too but I don't think a wampa would come in an Echo Base set and maybe only one tauntaun in a small set like that. I think Jedi like Ki-Adi-Mundi have a bit more of a role in the movies than Ackbar.

I'd like to see a C-9979 Landing Craft but scaled down to the size of the Republic Cruiser or Imperial Star Destroyer. It could have 2 doors on the front that open to reveal the small vehicle included in the 2007 MTT complete with communications array and pilot. An openable hatch on the top could reveal a pilot and commander droid seated above the vehicle hold. The four wings could be detachable with hatches on the top. Inside the front two it could store 4 plates with 8 battle droids to a plate like in the MTT, giving a total of 32 battle droids and 2 super battle droids lying down in each wing!!! In the back 2 wings there could be 1 plate of 32 guns in each for the battle droids. Also in the back wings, there could be super battle droids with rocket arms and a droideka or medical droid or whatever else. The front wings would have a rotateable gun on the end and there would be two big turrets near the middle on the front wings. What an great set this would be!!! It would cost quite a bit but you could build HUGE armies with loads of different droids in! Just an idea I had...

Great review rcpeck! It is pushing me towards buying the Hyena Droid Bomber but I'll wait to see how much money I have after I buy the others. The AAT's been a must-buy since before I saw it! Thanks for the info on the workings of the models as well. That doesn't seem to be the best looking angle to put on the front of the box but I like it anyway. The new speeder of Count Dooku's looks much better than the last (it's not blue) and the four minifigs are great. Two magnaguards but with a better ship than the MagnaGuard Fighter (its a good job I didn't buy it). I've wanted a fleshy Count Dooku for ages and it looks like he has a different lightsabre to Ventress. The droid pilot looks simple and the speeder probably fits in the back of the ship. Thanks a lot for that pic Erdbeereis1!

He might mean this one. I can't see a black streak. The current Rex has a grey line on the 'fin' on his helmet like the one in the picture if that's what you mean?
-
You're welcome. I agree with everyone else. I think the black pistols go better with the blasters. The pauldrons are grey (see Rex) and the kamas are black so you can mix the two colours up. I'd like to see different grey pauldons with the left side coloured like the commander's armour (blue for Rex, orange for Cody, green for Gree, etc.) No offense to anyone who makes these but I don't think the custom fabric ones look good on LEGO. I'm chuffed with the low prices too. I wasn't going to buy the Hyena Droid Bomber but now it's so cheap, I might just.
-
No that's new to me. I won't use the equipment anyway, I'll keep him a regular clone trooper. How did you find this? Never mind. Is there a review of the other sets?

7751 Ahsoka's Starfighter And Vulture Droid: Ahsoka Tano, R7-A7 & 2 Buzz Droids (btw not Ashoka as it currently says on p1). 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack: 2 Clone Troopers, 1 Clone Trooper w/ Commander gear & 1 Clone Artillery Gunner (not AT-TE pilot as I mentioned on p129). 8015 Assassin Droid Battle Pack: 3 silver Assassin Droids & 2 black Assassin Droids. 8016 Hyena Droid Bomber: 3 Rocket Battle Droids 8017 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter: Darth Vader (new) & Darth Vader w/ Chrome-black Helmet? 8018 Armoured Assault Tank: Yoda (Clone Wars), 1 Clone Trooper, 2 Battle Droid & 3 Super Battle Droids w/ rocket-launcher arm. 8019 Republic Attack Gunship: Mace Windu (Clone Wars), 1 Clone Trooper, 1 Clone Pilot. We've known these for a while from the pictures but here's the list anyway. Also, I've noticed the USD & GBP prices we know haven't been added to p1 either.
