  1. I do prefer this new design. It looks thinner and more round than the previous. Do you have the TLG Droideka from the MTT? If so, you could use the bronze 'arms' to make it look more realistic. I think it's a super design but the only thing that lets it down is the colour, but that's something hard to overcome if you don't have the pieces. Well done.

Not that it's relevant to this thread, but it is to this discussion, so here is Wookieepedia's entry:
  3. I agree. Maybe smaller and cheaper than the Venator, seeing as I can't afford it this year. Good idea.
  4. I would definitely buy multiples of them! I doubt they will be Hoth-based as the new set is very much like a large Hoth battlepack.
  5. This is a very good creation, CloneCommanderDelta7, as I knew it would be. I always thought it was larger and flatter, not that I could do anywhere near as good if I was to make one. It looks very accurate though and I'm sure it'll do well in the competition. The cockpit is similar to that of the AT-OT is it not? Maybe, if you buy it, you can use that instead. I also see the sniper from your infamous comic. Anyway, I really like it and I wish you luck.
  6. I predict the next bps in January will be one of these because, so far, they have gone PT, OT, PT and so they're likely to be OT. The most likely OT ones will be Hoth or Endor, but I could be wrong so don't trust my opinion 100%.
  7. I avoided that one. After clicking on the Super Star Destroyer one, I learnt my lesson. TLG haven't made an Octuparra before. I think it was likely that the Tri-droid rumour was turned into the CA Tank Droid because it said it included battle droids and jet troopers, which the tank droid does. There's still hope though!
  8. Another great comic to follow here. This looks very good with clear pictures, good dialogue, a nice intro and super settings. I look forward to part 2.

Another amazing creation by Rook. This, like the others, looks great. I especially love how you include excellent playability features as if it were a real set. Keep up the wonderful work! Also, I'd sincerely advise you to enter the three sections of the competition, as I'm sure you will and have already begun on entries for. If you have posted any already, please forgive me. I cannot remember who has and hasn't entered.
  10. You'll understand if we don't, at first, believe a vassal with three posts who gives big, possibly important news, without proof, a named source or a named set.
  11. A very good-looking entry, but I have to say it doesn't look very SW-like, in my opinion. Still, I think it's a good, simple idea and the end result looks good anyway. The weapon storage rack is a good idea. That's something a lot of small vehicles lack. A good design. Well done and good luck!
  12. In my opinion, the engines are fine. They aren't too small to propel a small vehicle like that. Also, the cockpit window should be small to avoid the pilot being shot.
  13. I agree. A great creation. You've really captured the Wookiee design well. I know the guns aren't pieces from the Catamaran but from the Ornithopter. I think it's just meant to be similar to the Wookiee vehicles. Correct me if I'm wrong, Clone O'Patra. Good luck and well done!
  14. A very good representation of the relatively-unknown ship. It looks very sleek and accurate. Some improvements I can think of would be to maybe make it a little wider and it might look better in dark bley. A very good MOC indeed. Well done.
  15. I noticed something in this week's edition of The Clone Wars, Storm Over Ryloth. The alternate sticker for the Republic Dropship in set 10195 (see pic), can be seen on a gunship in the background during a hangar scene (see 6:51 on this video). I noticed this when watching the episode and thought I'd share it with you guys.
  16. Will do. I know. I'd seen all the others in the series but not this one. I just glanced at the background during that scene and recognised the design.

  18. It looks good, all be it a little unusual. Quite a heavy, industrial style design rather than a diplomatic shuttle but I suppose the point is it's armoured. Also, what is the point of the two doors? The front comes off and they look too small to get the pilot in and out of. EDIT: I think the engines are fine. A small point, these aren't really the required photo positions; there is no front or top picture which I would like to see more clearly. I'm probably sounding very negative and like I don't like your model, but I do think it's a good idea nicely created. Good luck in the competion!
  19. Yet it uses a light, clear bubble instead of a dark one when you can clearly see it's the same as the cockpit in that picture.
  20. It's not only for dioramas and armies. You can just post your collection, as I did.
  21. It's alright. You weren't to know. You're new. Here's a link to it.
  22. Indeed that is a nice big collection, but shouldn't it be in the 'Show Your Army / Home Display' topic?
  23. I agree. This is a widely wanted set and the most realistic way of getting a Ki-Adi-Mundi fig. However, TLG doesn't seem to be making many PT sets these days so hopefully he'll feature in the Clone Wars and we can get a set from the series that includes him.
  24. You could just buy a few of the new set, make a bigger, complete bunker and have more ewoks, rebels and scout troopers. You could buy more Stormtrooper bps if you want more of them. Just a way to overcome that problem if they don't release a giant battle.
  25. How do they work, then? Why would they use blue pins rather than more suitable black or grey pins?
