Wouldn't that just be very similar to other sets? (Ahsoka's Fighter w/ Vulture Droid, V-19 Torrent & CW Y-Wing) I have none of those so it may be good to sell them together for people like me, although that set would be extremely expensive and I would rather buy some land-based set for that amount.

How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
ADHO15 replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
When did Anakin control the Reek? I thought it was just coincidence. Care to suggest any? -
That is to do with cost in animation. It takes animators longer to detail and design every clone trooper in a scene to be part of the 212th Attack Battalion, for example. Getting the orange parts right on every trooper in every image would take ages. If you watch the CW film with the commentary playing, you will hear them talking about how they reused Obi-Wan's and Palpatine's bodies in Jabba's Palace to cut the costs so they don't have to design new clothing for each character.

They have red engines. Look here. It's pink in the series, see here. I think he means the actual engine glow rather than the obviously white and yellow casing.
-
But it doesn't, for the reasons I stated. I was talking more about what Bricks and Palin Jax said. I had seen this but hadn't thought anything of it, at the time. I don't want to put the stickers on either LAAT, I prefer to keep them anonymous.

That's quite a rant, Tanotrooper. I like the episodes like Hidden Enemy and Rookies that show the variety between clones. I know they are clones and they should all be the same, but of course they will adopt different personalities and interests as they grow. I also like the different hairstyles and armour because, again, it shows variation. When you were talking about LEGO, there aren't many special troops produced these days. All the CW clones are plain B&W, except for the three commanders, but you can just pretend they're a Lieutenant, Captain and Commander from their red, blue and... orange colours. I have no issue with the specialised armour or difference between clones. In fact, I think it's a really good aspect that was included in the show and I hope to see it continue. It would just get boring if they were all the same. You might as well have two BD armies.

You guys are looking at this picture aren't you? Both clones have exactly the same regular helmets. If you don't believe me, get a real LEGO helmet, turn it round to that angle and you will see it's the same old helmet. You can see the hole and the black stripe, so he's clearly not wearing a visor. I'm 100% sure it's the same helmet. Actually, now you come to mention it, doesn't the battle droid have a new head? Oh, no, because that would be pointless when TLG already has a well suited mould already that would suit the fig fine! Also, where did you get the Pirate Tank price from?
-
I agree. I think it should be availiable everwhere. Even though I wouldn't subscribe myself, my fellow Brits should be able to get those exclusive minis if they want them.
-
Good find. You can see the jetpacks better here but I don't think the helmet is new. You can see the other one has a jetpack and a normal helmet. Thanks! We suggested a different, more likely piece further up this page. I agree. Just read my review.

Darth Vader to Captain Needa, ESB I found this small review of 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker.
-
Ah, that explains it then. Sorry.
-
I thought it was that piece, but was put off by the fact that it doesn't look much like a chair.

Yes, they have a falling-out and he shoots her as she beheads him. A very strange ending to The Clone Wars. We'll just have to wait and see.
-
It looks thinner and smaller to me, but it may just be the angle. That would make it out of scale with the rest of it too. The top gun would be able to fit a fig but the cockpit certainly could not.
-
I think this is a really great MOC. It has loads of detail on the scenery and the snowspeeder. I like how you included a skeleton of the last person who went into that cave. The bleeding effect of the rebel is good, and the way the figs are positioned is excellent and realistic too. Overall, a wonderful creation, in my opinion, you really do have a nack for dioramas. I hope to see another of them soon.

Ha, this old thread was dug up again. While it has been, I want to thank everyone for their kind comments and I hope to make another review soon, I just need to find the pieces for and rebuild my old sets. Thanks again!
-
You're welcome. I didn't know that myself so I too am glad I looked it up. And when you're done, your unstoppable alphabet will rule the galaxy!
-
It is? I can't see it. (Sorry, if it takes time to update and I'm being impatient) Also, which piece is used for the seat on the top gun?
-
Funny, though, for a minute. She doesn't have to die. She could survive Order 66 like several other Jedi and go into hiding. She could go missing. Who knows. Supposedly, something will happen to Rex as well?

What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
ADHO15 replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I hope we get 2010 rumours by August, because if we are getting Endor BPs then I won't buy the Battle of Endor set and I can buy the Venator instead. I'd like a combination of DS troopers, scouts and stormies in an Endor Imperial BP, but I'm not bothered in what proportions. -
The AT-OT released date was mentioned but maybe not in the last few pages. It's not available for preorder yet though. Was Bombad Jedi on tonight here in the UK because I've just seen the people who live opposite me watching it on their giant TV. I had no sound but I enjoyed it anyway!
-
Yes, but this is a Clone Wars redesign, just like they did with they redesigned the system model. 4495
-
The design of the mini doesn't look bad at all, except for those giant middle feet! It's not a problem for me anyway as I have never been interested in anything other than system-scale sets.

ADHO15 replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
A senate-based set would be good, but I'd rather not have it as a BP. If it were a normal set, it could include Palpatine and Pamdé of some sort so I don't have to buy the Venator and we get a Padmé new fig. In my opinion, that's better than having loads of generic alien senators. As much as I would like this BP, I doubt TLG will make one for a while. Trandoshans aren't a well-known species among non-hardcore fans and wouldn't sell as well as a Clone BP, for example. Eventually, TLG may make alien BPs like a Wookiee BP or an Ewok BP or a Gungan BP. Who knows? -
I doubt they'd include an AT-RT as it would be too big to store inside, unless you lay it flat, which TLG doesn't often do. A good idea nonetheless, although I'd prefer a new Jedi rather than two I already have.
