Thanks for your kind comments. I was just posting the description while I uploaded all the pics. I didn't think anyone would rush into criticising me in that time! I'll build and review the dropship tomorrow, as well as compare the vehicles with 7665 and 7666. Hope you like what I've done so far. Comments and constructive criticism are welcome, as always. Thanks!

(27.03.09) This is my seventh review. It features: Product: 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT Theme: Star Wars No of pieces: 1758 Release Date: 2009 RRP: USD $250.00 Featured Episodes: AOTC, TCW, ROTS Lego "Shop at Home" Catalog Description This is the box compared to a Darth Vader fig for size. The dimensions are about 580mm x 480mm. The back of the box shows many of the features included in this set including opening cockpits, missile launchers and the connecting feature between the AT-OT and LAAT/c. The top of the box showing the figs included. 2 clone pilots and 6 clone troopers. There are three instruction booklets, as you'd expect for such a big set (the biggest I've ever bought!) The sticker sheet is quite a big one with symbols, logos, detail and nose art. These are the pages at the back of the instruction booklet that show the same features seen on the back of the box. The bags in this set are numbered which is something I've not seen for a long time. The number 1 bags hold the pieces of the AT-OT and the number 2 bags have the LAAT/c pieces. This is the All Terrain Open Transport or AT-OT, a large troop transport that has been pulled off perfectly by TLG. There is seating for 3 down each side and a further 3 in the middle. There is also seating for 7 at the front. The pilot is sitting in his huge cockpit at the front. The stickers here are really nice. (He has windscreen wipers!) This is how the front looks normally. However, for dropship transportation, there needs to be a little modification to the front... Firstly, the top frame is folded backwards and tucked down. I don't think the clones sitting at the front are actually affected by this folding, which is much better than I thought! Then the cockpit is folded backwards too. You'll see why this is when I show it being picked up by the dropship. The boarding ramp is normally folded up on the back like so. It can be unfolded to allow the troops to board the vehicle. The ramp is a bit steep so this clone decides it's an emergency slide instead! The back clones can stand on their seats to shoot the mounted guns at any surrounding infantry. The pilot can sit comfortably in the cockpit which opens at the sides and top to make it easier to put him in. A side view of this great vehicle! A comparison between the AT-OT and 7675 AT-TE. The AT-TE is just a little bit bigger than the AT-OT. The Republic Low Altitude Assault Transport/carrier Dropship. This is extremely movie-accurate. Well done, TLG! The pilot sits in the cockpit similar to those of the 7676 Gunship you'll see later. The cockpit opens much easier as it is only clipped on a one point rather than using a double clip. Inside the front is a small platform with 8 missiles. Each wing has 4 additional missiles meaning you don't need to keep moving them from storage to the wing which is great! There are some nice stickers on the sides as well as extra pieces for detail. These look really good. The top is also very detailed and houses a secret handle. The handle folds forwards to make it easy to carry around. It's very sturdy but weighs a lot with a vehicle attached! There are more stickers on the back as well as a rear gun. Inside the 'neck' of the ship are technic beams to keep it strong, unlike the Rep. Gunship. On the underside of the wings are missile launchers. By pushing the yellow stud at the back, all four missiles are released at once. This is the underside of the ship, where the vehicles attacked. You can see a yellow stud in the middle holding back a grey bar (follow the blue elastic band). When the handle on the top of one of the vehicles is pushed into the yellow stud... it moves upwards, releasing the bar through... the hole in the top of the handle, attaching the ship and the walker. Clever! You may be able to see the attachment in the middle of this picture. And behold, the dropship can carry the AT-OT like so. The dropship is also compatible with the 7675 AT-TE. The handle needs to have a hole at the top to allow the connection. Also, the gun needs to be turned to the side, otherwise it gets in the way at the front. This can be carried by the dropship like this as well. Here is a size comparison between the LAAT/c and LAAT/i. As you can see, the dropship is quite a bit bigger. I think this set is really good. £166 for 1758 pieces is good and the vehicles are so accurately-designed. It's a shame that better minifigs weren't included as that would have persuaded more people to buy it, I'm sure. I'd certainly recommend buying it if you are a SW LEGO fan. You'll need lots of space to display it as the dropship is enormous and only just fits on my shelf. Also, if you have lots of clones from BPs and need somewhere to transport them, this is the vehicle to get. It includes 6 clone troopers and seats 16 so there is plenty of space for those loose clones. Build: 7/10 - The dropship was very technic and the legs of the AT-OT got a bit boring. It took a long time to build as well. Design: 9/10 - The legs of the walker are floppy and hard to stand up. The folding 'head' is also a bit of a design flaw. Minifigs: 8/10 - 2 pilots and 6 troopers is good, but TLG could easily have put in a Jedi or clone commander. Clones can be easily bought in the BP. Playability: 10/10 - This set has so many functions and features. One of the best sets ever in this field. Swooshability: 7/10 - It's very heavy and huge which make swooshing difficult. Overall: 82/100 - An accurate calculated score. See the gallery here (when public). Any questions, picture requests or comments are welcome. Hope this was useful!

Alright. I'll have a look for him and have a go later. Thanks! OFF-TOPIC GAME INFO Jedi question In case you were wondering about the 'Name as many Jedi as you can' question, here are the basic rules: You are allowed 1 PM containing a list of as many Jedi Padawans/Knights and Masters as you can think of. (No Sith) They can be from any era (PT/CW/OT/EU) The player who submits the most names before 21:00 GMT tomorrow night will be awarded 5 POINTS! As I said, only one PM is allowed. If you send another saying you've forgotten such-and-such a Jedi, it will not be counted in your score. Remember: NO RESEARCHING. This is a competition to see how many Jedi you know, not how many you can look up. Please try, even if you don't know all that many. Some people may not bother or miss the deadline and so you may get the points. Good luck everyone!

Thanks a lot! I have a few Spanish essays to write tomorrow so they'll be finished and posted late tomorrow or Saturday hopefully.

Do you have any links to / pics of Phase 1 501st Legion troopers. I'd be happy to make one, but I need a reference picture and I don't remember seeing them in the series. I can use Boil and Waxer's armour to make a 212th trooper. Thanks for your requests and any more you can think of are welcome.

Sorry to stay off-topic for a minute, but I'd like to see the Jedi going to those planets and fighting/winning their battles at the end of the last series. For example, we should see Aayla Secura fighting on Felucia, Ki-Adi-Mundi on Mygeeto, Plo Koon on Cato Neimoidia, Stass Allie on Saleucami, etc. We only saw short clips of these and I think it would be great to see more of these famous battles. One of these episodes could show how Ashoka survives/doesn't survive before Order 66 as well.
-
Oh yes. I'll be sure to get it when it comes out. Thanks a lot.
-
Do you know if it will be available in the UK, or is it a US exclusive?
-
Maybe. Who knows? We'll just have to wait and see.
-
I think in the circle around the fig, it says Luke Skywalker, doesn't it?
-
No, we have seen that video before. Someone posted it not too long ago.
-
Thank you very much! I haven't recently as the remaining designs are harder and I've been busy. I've almost finished Stone and am working on a few others. I'll post them soon.
-
Yes! I've just ordered mine! My review will hopefully be up in about a week! I'll have to check tomorrow and see if I've been sent one.

I voted for Lair of Grievous for most of the reasons already expressed by Oky Wan Kenobi. The only differences are that Kit Fisto is my favourite Jedi and that I see the episode as more of a Republic loss than a CIS loss. Nahadar was killed as well as all of his clones, whereas Grievous only lost Gor and A-4D.

I don't think that's really an on-topic comment. I love 10195 and will buy it the day it comes on Shop@Home, though it will still probably be about a week before it arrives here.
-
As I said, it is on-topic to the 2009 set, but I agree it can end now. I take no offense being called a Star Wars nerd, in fact, I agree also. What's up for discussion next, then?
-
Yes, thank you. I did post that pic near the top of the page. Episode 1 (blonde/grey) Episode 2 (grey) The Clone Wars (blonde) Episode 3 (grey) = an unusual pattern. I completely agree with you.
-
Check my link above and you'll see it's clearly blonde. We are discussing 2009 sets, therefore, it's not off-topic. I agree, the fig is very accurate and looks great.
-
We've never seen any indication of it being white. The actual fig had grey hair and the fig on the box has blonde. Seeing as that is true to his Clone Wars image, I'm betting on blonde. Plus, in the very first blurry picture with the 5 figs at the side, he had blonde hair. See: EDIT: Sorry for the big pic. I've changed to a link.
-
I noticed it was quite obviously blonde in Hostage Crisis, which is inaccurate. He should have grey. Maybe he'd just had it dyed!
-
Another super creation, Rook! You really do have talent. The only downside would be the head that looks a little unusual, but that is perfectly fine as it is a very hard vehicle to build, and there aren't any large spherical or semi-spherical pieces for you to use. I think the overall look is fab, though! Out of your three entries, I'd have to say the taxi is the best, but the others are very hard designs to match and you pulled them all off wonderfully! As always, the best of luck!
-
Perfect, yet again! A very accurate design indeed. I love the seating arrangement. I'm sure this will also do very well in the contest and I wish you the best of luck!
-
I like the look of it. The escape pod is a 'real' feature that is true to the ship. When under attack, the salon pod can be released to keep the diplomatic ambassadors safe inside.

The designs look accurate, but I'd use a darker red, like the colour of Fox. As others, have said, the colour is a bit pink. Anyway, it looks great!
